  1. He's a 3-4 OLB over 30 coming off a huge deal. Not a scheme fit and likely won't be a bargain
  2. He was a great corner for the Bills. Hard to argue with the fact that he is getting better being coached by one of the top defensive minds of all time
  3. This made me laugh! Gruden's camp and Mayock's combine, pre-draft and during the drafts talks were my favorite draft talk. Now what are we supposed to do?? I don't want to go back to watching Kiper and Mcshay squawk . Also, I think he has N'Keal Harry, WR from ASU, way too low. I watched all the ASU games this year. He didn't always stand out, but what I liked: 1) He was the #1 focus of every defense ASU played, and his presence alone helped the run game 2) He can take the top off of a defense, scoring some long TDs 3) He is big and has nice hands 4) Don't let the lack of monster stats fool you- QB play was erratic
  4. Please no more trading up. We did it twice last year and it cost. Alot Should never be trading up unless it's for a franchise qb or is just a great price
  5. Agreed and it's a good draft for DT. I just like the idea of not being forced to take this spot
  6. He made a nice impression as a rotation player, plus he seems to bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Between him, Harrison and Star, it's a nice 3 way DT rotation and we wouldn't need to use the 1st rounder for it
  7. No way He is a great ambassador for the team- we want him out there recruiting pro bowlers for the Bills. Also let him get his accolades from his peers and the rest of the league- Bills fans had their chance to say goodbye
  8. Good god put the keyboard down- This is the sort of thinking- wacking gms and coaches every 3 years- that has this team in suspended animation for the last 20 years
  9. You can go to a game and say and do whatever you want. BUT- there are repercussions for what you say and do. Act like an a@@clown? then you get thrown out, detained, banned etc. Too bad for these people
  10. I'll stop a bit short of saying the Jets were dirty-- but only a bit They late hit Josh Allen numerous times, including a little twist of his leg early in the game. He was hobbling a bit and I think getting banged about cheaply did not help his accuracy woes. I don't know how many times he had to pick himself up off the ground after plays Our kicker got flat out cheap shotted- that cost some points (although our special teams got whipped anyway) Shady got banged up and the Jets basically assaulted Ivory. Several hits occurred well out of bounds. If the refs were going to call the game lightly, we needed to respond differently-- the physical tone the Jets set finished the team in the end
  11. It's embarrassing. I live in Arizona, and have had non Bills fan friends ask me about the Billboard to get rid of Peterman. They are getting quite a laugh out of it. Obviously he has played poorly- but really what kind of jerk has the time or desire to start a billboard fund to cut a guy? When your team stinks, there isn't much good news about them anyway, but cmon- this is silly
  12. Ah it's a fair review. I have to admit, I am questioning why I waste every beautiful Arizona Sunday getting keyed up for the game and then getting punched in the face. I turned it off at halftime- there were much better games on the ticket and don't regret it.
  13. I'll post on here now and then while I am on a conference call, and do peruse the site regularly. I can never understand: 1) How someone has the time to call a radio show in the middle of the day, and what they hope to get out of it 2) Why anyone thinks their opinion on the team is valuable to have others listen to
  14. I'm tuned into FS1 all day. Undisputed is ok, though Skip and Shannon get old. I like Cowherd. Don't really care for the Chris Carter show, but like Whitlock on Speak for Yourself. Much better than espn
  15. Great idea? No shows and empty seats are a great way to get the team moved outta town, if that's the message you are looking for So few markets the size of Buffalo could have survived the horrible on field product these last decades- it's the fan support that has made the difference
  16. My eyes tell me the team needs work, I don't need these guys articles all over again pointing out the bad. Negative atitudes burn energy
  17. Say what you want about whether or not he has the talent to play in the NFL (I don't know the answer), but this thread is a distraction. The fact that the poster titled it the way he did is a distraction. People's emotional comments are a distraction. You think NFL decision makers are interested in this?
  18. According to this https://www.statista.com/statistics/193553/revenue-of-national-football-league-teams-in-2010/ the Bills where 3rd last in revenue for NFL teams in 2016. One of the main reason is likely low stadium revenue. Buffalo is a smaller NFL market with few corporate HQs to buy luxury boxes. NY state has absurdly high taxes and expenses with a declining population. If you take emotion out of it, the Bills need a new stadium and revenue sources to compete long term in the NFL.
  19. Common thread is a lot of "didn't end well"
  20. You know I saw some Bills news flash on the NFL network ticker and ran online to see what it was. When I found out it was about Russ, well it was essentially a non-event for me. living outside of Buffalo and having no interest in hockey, this news is meh. Russ did a nice job marketing a nationally irrelevant team in a very small market. Now the fact he presided over the entire drought is certainly a negative. Hopefully this begins a new era for the Bills!
  21. I'm at a loss to understand so much nastiness about these signings?? 1) Bills have no money=no premium lineman free agents 2) Center just retired by surprise, so a 25 year old 4 year starter is signed to a reasonable deal 3) Thin at tackle with Hendersen and Glenn gone- go get a tackle with plenty of starting experience 4) I don't think many people, myself included, are qualified to judge oline play with any finality. Don't go find quotes from a Benals fan or Blogger and all of a sudden that opinion is a fact
  22. As a reminder I am eminently unqualified to grade qbs, but here are my thoughts: 1) Darnold + Has moxy, nice arm, won a lot of games, great size - I watched a lot of PAC 12 ball and he rarely popped. Turns the ball over. Would have loved another year of college, but don't blame him for coming out 2) Mayfield + He keeps creeping up for me. Experienced starter at 2 schools. 2x walk on is amazing. Great arm talent - He is short- there is no getting around that. College athleticism may not translate to pros. A bit wacky for a franchise qb, with crotch grapping and cop chasing 3) Rosen +great size, pedigree and accuracy -dude got hurt. Often. Seems like a a bit of a jerk 4) Lauletta +Dude balled out at the senior bowl. Seems smart and accurate. Some team will love him -does he have an nfl arm? Playing at Richmond doesn't help 5) Allen + Huge. Has a cannon. Yes he didn't play much competition, but did he have much in the way of teammates? Pro style experience - College completion % is bad. Needs to sit for a full year- not play after week 3 6) Jackson +A weapon, can throw and run and put up some sick numbers - How accurate will he be? QBs that run that much will get wiped the hell out in the NFL All this being said, I like Darnold and Allen the best
  23. I don't think it's an accident that there are conflicting reports on the Bills contacting the Browns. There is so much mis-information and non-substantiated opions out there right now at this time of year. At least I hope that Beane is playing his cards close to the vest. I guess we will see on draft night! It's gonna be fun
