  1. I was at that game in AZ- was a truly great moment after Diggs made the catch! Was high fiving with family in the stands and hugging- we thought it was a winner. Cardinal fans (who are pretty cool) started leaving and giving us "good game" nods. The fluke duck play aside, that was a heckuva clutch drive, as our QB was cash money
  2. Totally agree. Working with a Union is extremely complicated and it's hard to find middle ground. This seems reasonable- I mean essentially you are free not to get the vaccine, but there are negative consequences you must deal with. I think the NFL overall has been masterful throughout this crises and managed a full season last year
  3. Disagree- A good team today that is in tight but not critical cap shape is way better than a crappy roster with nothing but hope and cap space!
  4. What are you talking about? Please add some context for us out of towners who aren't privy to the local news. Did he show up out of shape? Do you own a restaurant he showed up in and he's fat? Can't follow your 4 word post at all and this site is how some of us keep on on the scoop...
  5. Not sure what the new Texans GM was supposed to with the QB spot- -inherited a pissed off QB demanding trade (Watson) -QB in all kinds of trouble getting a message from 7,000 women (Watson) He could not anticipate either of these things To top it off, Texans had no 1st OR 2nd round pick. That's bad So they got a decent free agent place holder (Tyrod) and drafted a rookie they hope can play and/or develop Guy is doing the best he can with the hand he was dealt
  6. She's pretty cool- has like a Masters in Analytics from MIT. Does predictions on games, signings etc for NFL Network. Sometimes right, sometimes wrong, but she has some sort of statistical model she uses to make predictions and reactions. I like her. Doesn't hurt that she is an absolute smoke show
  7. Agree this is great news- We keep our very good center We don't create another hole in the O Line Bills save cap room- wins all around
  8. Yup-obsession with ex Panthers stings on this one. A fine player to add for much cheaper- doubt any other team in the NFL would have offered a contract like this
  9. I thought originally the idea was posted by Matt Millen, former Lions GM. And the absurdity of the idea made sense. 1st round picks are critical in the salary cap era-sure if you have Tom Brady you can whiff, you can get lucky, but otherwise no gimme those picks
  10. Great thread- felt a lot of pride in the folks at the game and how loud they were. Could hear from my couch in Arizona! One of the few thinks I do miss about NY is my Bills season tickets!
  11. This doesn't make any sense to me- how were defenses less able to gel than offenses this offseason? I thought the NFL and NFLPA did a remarkable job coming up with a plan and completing the season this year-- personally I thank them for it
  12. Josh Allen is playing great for sure. However I never understand why fans root for QBs to get these obscene contracts- are you related to him? The $30 million + contract will be a huge drain on the Bills resources for years. It becomes hard to retain top talent with a bloated QB contract (see Rams, Eagles, Seahawks, etc.) The longer the Bills can hold off paying Josh like this the better for the team- it's not personal it's just business. Use the QB rookie deal window for as long as possible
  13. I live in AZ and have watched all the Cards games IMHO, here's what I think: -They miss Kenyon Drake- the backup RB Edmunds is hit or miss -The secondary is shaky- Baker and Peterson can play, but the others can be exploited -They really miss Jones- LB crew is average -OL seems decent- better than in recent years -WRs are pretty good- Kirk and Isabella can fly. Hopkins is still a handful and Larry the legend is clutch Kyler Murray is a demon- he's hell on wheels when he runs. Reminds me of Dark Helmet from SpaceBalls because he is so small with a huge helmet. His legs and feet are so fast it's hard to see them move! He will run the ball and get yards- -Coaching is ok- I think Kingsbury has a couple of cool plays every game -Defense can be outsmarted- I have seen them pushed around and also seen them thrown on Should be a fun game- wish I could go! Had tickets but then they limited fan attendance:(
  14. I don't imagine a trade would be in order for even a healthy Ertz 1) We like our premium draft picks 2) Guy is pretty expensive 3) He has been publicly belly aching for a new deal- that won't stop with a trade 4) He is already 30 5) Cap # is uncertain next year- adding high $ players is not smart 6) He has no Carolina Panther experience
  15. Let the year play out! Maybe even the option year as well! Don't rush into a franchise QB contract. Sure it would be great for Josh, but NOT for the team at all Overpaying too early would be a potential disaster, and the folks running the bills are too smart for that (now)
  16. I agree with this- haven't purchased madden in a few years I liked old PS2 Franchise mode- playing GM was fun! The new console version of franchise mode stinks, and I am too old and disinterested to play online games with strangers
  17. Best player on the roster at a premium position. This had to be done! Happy about this!
  18. Well it's a free country- if a dude wants to go to a ladies salon and have his nails cut, then he is free to do so I guess if you have the time and money to spend on such things knock yourself out. If I have a free couple of hours on a random day, a nail salon is never going to be on my calendar Nail clipper works pretty good for me, and has for 5 decades
  19. You guys are bullish on Josh Allen I'm optimistic and hopeful, but this is a tough schedule and he has yet to prove he can throw accurately with any regularity His stats projection: 3380 Passing yards 23 TD passes 424 Rushing yards 4 TD rushes
  20. I wouldn't go to crazy on this-- O'Brien is a bad GM Bad GMs set the market price too high for non premium positions and then get fired (see- CJ Mosley)
  21. Good post- Simply proof point 1034 why I have a complete lack of trust for most media- just tell me what happened from an objective point of view- not what you think about it!
  22. This is idiocy-you don't see the league finishing the season??? Total mess right now?? Why are people like you out there rooting for this to fail? Regardless of pollical beliefs, the NFL is a multi billion dollar business- people depend on it They are and should be doing everything possible to safely proceed with a season
  23. This For Pete's sake, if one player gets infected the whole team could get wiped out in one practice. (By wiped out I mean quarantined, as these healthy dudes would probably be fine) Is it really such an imposition on personal freedom to follow the damn rules?? If the rule is wear a mask in certain places, then wear it. Then go home and do whatever you want
  24. Your right- but it was a chance to post anonymously and not be petrified of a pitchfork mob!!:)
