  1. Yeah, that pretty much sums up the excitement level. No more commercial breaks than any other game once it got going.
  2. Drew Staffords band (forget what its called) or Britney Spears ... we are due for another wardrobe malfunction.
  3. My wife and I thought their voices sounded horrible, and my wife also commented on how old they looked. My only answer to that was ... they are! I wonder if the reason they keep getting these fossil bands is because the NFL audience in general is more older than younger? Even most of the commercials seemed to be aimed at an older (i.e. > 30) audience.
  4. Hmmmm LA or Buffalo. Believe it or not, I'd pick Buffalo. Besides traffic, you forgot fires, quakes, more and more-violent gangs, air pollution, outrageously priced homes, and everywhere you !@#$ing go, no matter what time of !@#$ing day or night, there are a !@#$ing shitload of people there. I hate hate hate LA, don't even like visiting there on business when I have to.
  5. No more likely or unlikely than before. Could be they just can't find anyone they like that will accept. Only thing to do is wait and see.
  6. And that's the reaction from some people who live in a below average environment (by most peoples standards). Calling it lack of sac when it really is just common sense.
  7. I take my kids to the kids day game and they love it. Most of the hard core drunks either take it down a few notches or skip the game altogether (which is greatly appreciated). Last year it was weird because they had that food channel tailgating thing going on. Should be back to normal this year. I'm sure your kids will love it.
  8. Well to be fair, of the senior staff, AVP took a demotion (technically), DJ took a double demotion (HC to DB coach if it happens) and Perry took a demotion back to DC. If they had/stayed-at those positions on the Bills I think they would have done fine.
  9. True. If it keeps going like this, the NFL will crash and burn like what the junk mortgages did to our economy.
  10. 20 million for a 16 game regular season? Think about that for a minute and let it sink in, that's more than a million dollars PER GAME. How can that possibly be "worth every penny". The NFL is just out of control, pure and simple.
  11. Congrats ... so where is the picture of her in her pink Bills Jersey??????
  12. Good point, it works for wall street dudes.
  13. Where the heck did you pull that number from? A billion just to relocate a team? But the point of the debt load argument is fairly simple. Do you make more money (which makes it faster, easier, and indeed even possible to pay off your debt) in a big market town with higher ticket prices along with more and bigger companies to pay big bucks for luxury boxes, or a blue collar town with very little big business but a very rabid and loyal, though largely poor (according to the census), fan base? The answer is obvious. What Bills fans need is a White Knight who can afford to sacrifice profitability to keep the Bills in Buffalo. And even if such a Knight existed, the other NFL owners have a big say in the matter so even that isn't a guarantee. Remember too, that when Golisano was the White Knight for the Sabres, I believe he paid less than 100 million for the team (92 if google is correct ). That's a far cry from almost 900 million the Bills are estimated to be sold for.
  14. Can't do that, it's allllll about the $$$$$$$$$ man!
  15. Kind of a foolish statement. What if Gailey doesn't want him? What if Gaileys vision of the offense requires a younger, more mobile QB like a Vick? I don't know what Gailey is thinking and either do you. So technically at this point wanting McNabb is just as foolish as not wanting him.
  16. Would also energize the Bills Nation and sell lots of tickets and jerseys ala Terrell Owens.
  17. Nah, gave up my seasons this year. No letter for me
  18. Short and to the point. I like it.
  19. Never said he was obligated. However thank you notes are generally considered appropriate.
  20. Actually, that is exactly what it means.
  21. Dude, there is no reason to be vulgar!
  22. No apology necessary. Ralph is not forcing you to buy tickets. Ralph puts a product on the field, it is 100% up to you if you buy your seasons tickets or not. As it is, he sent a thank you letter which is appropriate.
  23. Yeah, if he continues to improve (and I believe he will) and the Jets manage to plug some of their holes on D, they could be pretty formidable for the foreseeable future.
