  1. Hair my friend, the day is young. Once OBD announces this coup d'état you will become a Billiever again! HC - Cowher OC - Shotty Jr. DC - Frazier A Billiever I tell you!
  2. Oh good lord, if this really is the menu for the Bills FA buffet even the almighty Chin could not save us this year. Don't forget too that Russ might go top-shelf for one to sell season tickets again like he did last year?
  3. Probably at least 58 thousand. But going into the stands and picking a fan to be the HC is probably not a great idea.
  4. Could that be the 1/15 announcement the Thurmanator was referring to?????
  5. Never fear, AVP is still available!
  6. More like Greek ... bend over
  7. That's actually easy. Very big and strong guys, padded up including helmets making their bodies into weapons that they hurl at each other as fast and as hard as they can. It obviously doesn't take much time to get hurt in that situation. If they removed helmets (or made more like a hockey helmet) and removed most of the pads, the majority of the serious injuries would disappear. But the game would not even be recognizable as what we call American football today.
  8. So let's see, 11 minutes of action 60 minutes of commercials $75 average ticket price (entire NFL, not just the Bills) More than 5 times more commercials than action. And on average, $6.81 per minute of action. Who says the NFL does not know how to make money!!! I know that the diehards will say "well, I need that time between plays and commercial time to look at replays and figure out what just happened". But it still is pretty funny when you break it down.
  9. Transfer money to Cowhers account directly so that he doesn't have to pay NYS taxes on it.
  10. By counting season ticket holders (sheep).
  11. Just watch a game and you can tell the percentage of deadtime to action is extreme. But 11 minutes out of 60 is shorter than I would have guessed. But thinking about it closer, it is about right. Thanks for the link! What DirectTV should do is offer the games the following week to sunday ticket subscribers with the deadtime compressed out. Watching 4 games in an hour as opposed to 1 game in 3 hours has a lot of appeal to me.
  12. Good. Lets see those flaming cheatriats fans pony up the money for tickets in their shiny new stadium to watch that team after they sink to the Bills level! Eat **** and die Kraft, Bellicheat, Tom Terriffic and that whole !@#$ing scumbag organization! There, I feel better now.
  13. And if he takes the Bills job and the Giants one opens after next season and he isn't available? Money is not a strong motivator for people that already have it. Plus the CBS job isn't paying peanuts. Not sure he'd "love" the job in Buffalo for the reasons in numerous threads already. I see where you are coming from, I just disagree with your logic.
  14. Statements like that puzzle me. Lets assume the Giants thing is true. Chin has had a successful coaching career, and currently has a cushy job on CBS now. The Giants are a team where he is comfortable with the ownership and has wanted to coach in the past. I think it's fair to say that they have a decent, mature QB, as well as talent in other positions. And are in a big market so money should not be a huge issue. So after the 8-8 season the Giants just had, and comments to the press from the owner saying he wasn't happy with the situation, plus whatever contact the Giants owner and Chin may have had (officially or unofficially). Cowher is "an idiot and horrible at making decisions" because he didn't take a (being generous) less than ideal situation in Buffalo instead of waiting for his dream position in NYC? Please explain this to me.
  15. A guy who says what he means? That sneaky bastard!
  16. Now that's an interesting perspective on the Chin.
  17. Nothing wrong with being a Billiever. But I have to ask, if you live in the DC area now what food do you miss in Buffalo?
  18. Look at the board reaction to Fewell, or any coordinator without a famous last name, when talking about the HC position. Can you imagine what the reaction here would be if a special teams coach got the HC job ... and a insider special teams coach at that? Mass suicide.
  19. Because they are, well, pointless. As are posts complaining about them.
  20. I gave up my seasons this year so I do understand your frustration. But contender it once was? The Bills have been a true contender what, 6 times or so in it's 50 year existence?
  21. A game? Hell, before he is even hired!
