  1. Transfer money to Cowhers account directly so that he doesn't have to pay NYS taxes on it.
  2. Just watch a game and you can tell the percentage of deadtime to action is extreme. But 11 minutes out of 60 is shorter than I would have guessed. But thinking about it closer, it is about right. Thanks for the link! What DirectTV should do is offer the games the following week to sunday ticket subscribers with the deadtime compressed out. Watching 4 games in an hour as opposed to 1 game in 3 hours has a lot of appeal to me.
  3. Good. Lets see those flaming cheatriats fans pony up the money for tickets in their shiny new stadium to watch that team after they sink to the Bills level! Eat **** and die Kraft, Bellicheat, Tom Terriffic and that whole !@#$ing scumbag organization! There, I feel better now.
  4. And if he takes the Bills job and the Giants one opens after next season and he isn't available? Money is not a strong motivator for people that already have it. Plus the CBS job isn't paying peanuts. Not sure he'd "love" the job in Buffalo for the reasons in numerous threads already. I see where you are coming from, I just disagree with your logic.
  5. Statements like that puzzle me. Lets assume the Giants thing is true. Chin has had a successful coaching career, and currently has a cushy job on CBS now. The Giants are a team where he is comfortable with the ownership and has wanted to coach in the past. I think it's fair to say that they have a decent, mature QB, as well as talent in other positions. And are in a big market so money should not be a huge issue. So after the 8-8 season the Giants just had, and comments to the press from the owner saying he wasn't happy with the situation, plus whatever contact the Giants owner and Chin may have had (officially or unofficially). Cowher is "an idiot and horrible at making decisions" because he didn't take a (being generous) less than ideal situation in Buffalo instead of waiting for his dream position in NYC? Please explain this to me.
  6. A guy who says what he means? That sneaky bastard!
  7. Nothing wrong with being a Billiever. But I have to ask, if you live in the DC area now what food do you miss in Buffalo?
  8. Look at the board reaction to Fewell, or any coordinator without a famous last name, when talking about the HC position. Can you imagine what the reaction here would be if a special teams coach got the HC job ... and a insider special teams coach at that? Mass suicide.
  9. Because they are, well, pointless. As are posts complaining about them.
  10. I gave up my seasons this year so I do understand your frustration. But contender it once was? The Bills have been a true contender what, 6 times or so in it's 50 year existence?
  11. Nothing says that the one you take will work out perfectly. But you can improve the odds by weeding out the sure turds first.
  12. With the current revenue sharing arrangement, and the fact that TV money (the largest chunk of cash involved) is divided evenly among the teams, and all owners have a say when teams get sold etc. etc. it's very hard for me to see anything other than one business entity, the NFL.
  13. 91, not a billionaire unless you include the estimated value of the Bills (and even then maybe not, but close), and anyone who feels a sporting team is more important than a persons life is a douchebag.
  14. Damn dude. This is a man's life you are you are so casually throwing into the shitter. This is only football after all.
  15. I think his point is that in the off season game of musical chairs that goes on, other teams that have HC's in place can hire coordibators and maybe some FA's while the Bills are looking for a HC. And the fear is that when the music stops and all the top candidates have sat down elsewhere, the Bills will be left with whoever doesn't have a chair.
  16. Whew. That is an interesting perspective on the current Bills situation. !@#$ the glass being half full, that som'B word is overflowing
  17. Might be too late. Rumor has it he will be the new Bears DC.
  18. What I find interesting are people who post on fan boards that somehow feel they know more than the OC's that are currently doing the job and can call their decisions "dumb".
  19. Nope. Far too many "bleed red and blue" terminal Bills fans for that to happen.
