Exactly. Again, this "story" is not news. It is just someone spouting off more bull ****. When someone relevant comes forward and says he/she/they will be looking to purchase the Bills when they are on the market THEN it will be news. Not a millisecond before. Why do people give a **** about these bull **** stories? I can write a story about how Antonio Pérez (CEO of Kodak) is going to build a stadium where Kodak Park stands today in Rochester and buy the Bills because it is largely empty and why would Kodak hold on to all of this empty land if they weren't planning on building a stadium there. Does that make it newsworthy? Of coure not, it is crap I pulled out of my ass just like the NF story.

All-22 Coaches Film -- Analysis of Fitz Week Two
CodeMonkey replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz is what he is, a good game manager. He will make some good throws like the one to Spiller over the middle. But he will miss some ridiculously easy ones like the gimme to Chandler early. I doubt you would ever see a Brady, Rivers, either Manning etc. ever miss something so short and so open so badly. He also has no hope of hitting anything deep consistently. If Gailey can consistently figure out how to have Fitz operate inside those parameters like he did against KC all season, Fitz will be fine. I saw an interview last night where Gailey said he has told Fitz not to run so much, and when he does run try to run "smarter" (go out of bounds or slide instead of lowering his head as he likes to do). Gailey knows full well what happens to this team if Fitz goes down. -
I liked the kid last season as well. I'm glad he is on the team. Won't bust the big ones like Spiller can, but he is a solid RB.

I believe that time he fumbled on the fake handoff to Spiller he may have been supposed to throw it. At least it looked that way to me.

Are the Bills simply a lousy road team?
CodeMonkey replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The next 2 weeks should go a long way answering these questions. But man after next week it just gets brutal. Pats*, at SF, at AZ, Titans, at Texans (yikes), at Pats* Wowzers. -
I believe Gailey is smart enough, and has an ego small enough, to do just that. The fact that yesterday was dominated by the ground game shows that to me. He still has his brain farts ...like that reverse on the goal line. But I fully expect to see a run first offense until the D accounts for it, Which then opens up the short passes for Fitz. Who hopefully by then has his **** together.

You forgot the best one. Most touchdown passes by a QB ... Fitz with 5

Chiefs last TD caught out of bounds?
CodeMonkey replied to Dr. K's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree. At the very least it was close enough not to be able to overturn. Certainly not "clearly and unequivocally out of bounds" as the OP contends. -
Romeo Crennel and Scott Pioli
CodeMonkey replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And this is exactly why you don't knee jerk and fire your HC after some bad games without having a better replacement lined up. You could end up with a Romeo Crennel! Or maybe he was just trying to show that he knew he had all his timeouts left ... you know, so it will look better for his next job search -

Stadium 75% empty with 5 minutes left to play
CodeMonkey replied to Beebes Bubble's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When we go, which admittedly is very rare anymore, we always stay to the final gun. We stay to the final whistle for Sabres games as well, no matter what. And for what it's worth, the TV was tuned to the game yesterday to the final gun. But there was more high-fiveing going on than people watching the kneel downs and the dumbass KC timeouts and hail Mary. -
Pessimists, lets here it
CodeMonkey replied to Optometric Insight's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I have to admit, watching a Pats* soul crushing defeat (and you didn't mention that they had a TD called back on a hold right before wide-left, it was a beautiful thing! ) is a close second to the Bills crushing someone. Put them both together like yesterday, and mix in dash of Jets loss and you just can't beat it! -
Yeah KC gets 7 going into halftime instead of the fumble and it's an entirely different game. But the Bills were do for some good fortune.
-
For me it's the entire O line and Spiller. Damn, that kid keeps playing that way and Gailey is going to find it difficult to give FredEx his touches when he is healthy again! My only disappointment was that T. Jackson did not dress. I would have liked to have seen him in the game to mop up instead of Thigpen, and maybe a bit earlier than Thigpen got in. But I really can't blame Gailey for not expecting a huge blowout like that.
-
I noticed this as well. I also wonder if his groin is still troubling him. A win is a win, no matter the opponent. It was wonderful to see Gailey take the game out of Fitz's hands and put it in Spillers. And even better to see Spiller pick up where he left off last week. A healthy FredEx along with Spiller will be a great thing to see. Fitz sucked again, but at least he didn't hurt the team this week. Gilmore seems to be holding an awful lot on coverage. Got away with most of it today.

I've been waiting a really long time to say this ... nice game plan coach Gailey!!!

Pressure on Gailey and the Coaching Staff
CodeMonkey replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure you can call what the Bills did last week playing a game. But they do have one, and only one, loss so far. -
You are right, I am not. But you don't have to be clairvoyant to realize that when Gailey was out of work, if the Cowboys offered him a job as a HC or OC he most likely would have taken it. Not a big leap there. But to get back on topic at least a little .... I have little doubt that Nix does indeed trust Gailey. And that it will take a lot for Nix to fire Gailey, at least as much as that decision doesn't come down from above.

Do we really need stadium comfort improvements?
CodeMonkey replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah that's exactly where I am. I can be comfortable and see the game infinitely better as you pointed out. And most important to me, I can watch the game with my entire family without having to deal with drunk (or sober) idiots and it doesn't cost me anywhere near the $350 or more that it would cost for us all to go to the game. I do miss the tailgates and the excitement of being at the Ralph, but overall I can't imagine what they could do to the Ralph that would make me want to go there Sundays. -
You would have to ask him, I am not clairvoyant
-
Nice to see all the home opener excitement! Roll call huh ... my family and I will be in our family room all watching together (wish we lived close enough to tailgate before the game)
-
And never hired him back when he had numerous chances. Much like Fitz, Gailey is what he is ... mediocre. And the best the Bills could hire at the time.

Hali plays this week as well.
