  1. I don't give a !@#$ about what he says. But Gailey and Mr. soon-to-be-ex-DC-if-he-doesn't-get-his-head-out-of-his-butt better have some actions ready by Sunday.
  2. Maybe he injured his ribs and we won't hear about it until after the season.
  3. Pink is clearly his color. Hit on Brady was right on the knee and appeared to be deliberate. Hit on Fitz wasn't a hit as much as a grab onto the ankle. Good thing he let go when he did too or it would be Thigpen playing. Sunday.
  4. Four simple words ... Show me the baby
  5. All good until Fitz is the one knocked out. Then it's starting QB Thigpen ... YIKES!
  6. Basically that refs are going to make mistakes, Given the overly complex (in my opinion) nature of many of the rules will cause them to make even more mistakes. But these mistakes will even out. If I went only by what I read week in and week out in threads such as these you would think only the Bills get bad calls. But yeah you are right, by the thread title you can generally tell which ones are the ref whine fest ones and skipping over them is probably the smart thing to do.
  7. WTF are you talking about? He needs the coaches to show him how to get there? Didn't you type this as well??? You are right, he is no rookie. Are you really saying Nix paid $100 million dollars for someone they have to teach how to rush the passer?????? If so you should change the title to "Blame Buddy Nix ..."
  8. Bills are 9.5 point dogs. Understandable given what SF did to the Jets and what the Jets did to the Bills. Wish I could say I thought the Bills and the points was the smart bet.
  9. Time to tell that lazy kid of yours to get to work and fix the Bills! http://www.buffalobi...gm-for-day.html
  10. To come in during garbage time.
  11. Neither hopefully. They go in and play the game like any other against division rivals and try and do whatever they can to win. If they go in looking for revenge, or scared, they will lose for sure.
  12. They both played Sunday and neither appeared to get worse (except when Spiller came off the field nursing his shoulder, but he came back in) so I would assume both will be available for SF barring any practice setbacks.
  13. Have to disagree. Fitz is a very capable backup and mentor. I believe they would keep Fitz as the backup and get a starter,
  14. Well put. And I will only add, if they didn't break your heart they wouldn't be the Bills.
  15. Comes with the $100 million territory. Man I'd love to visit that territory even for 1 year.
  16. Refs are human and will not see everything. Couple that with the amount and extent of rules in the NFL being borderline absurd and you get what you get. But then why is it assumed by the select few that bring this up week in and week out (even after wins) that all bad calls go against the Bills?
  17. Or one could say that instead of the D making adjustments (which I really am not sure they did) they just played two teams worse than the Bills that made them look better. You are right though, it is too early to pull the plug on the season. I'm shocked that the D line continues to play so poorly and I can't help but think that sometime this season they come around and at least LOOK like the high priced beef that they are. We keep hoping and therefore watching.
  18. Man the conspiracy theories here know no bounds. They need clear evidence to overturn a ruling on the field. No one could say the knee definitely touched. Yeah it may have looked like it based on what the turf was doing at the time, but it has to be clearly seen to overturn. Simple concept that can be hard to accept when looking for excuses other than the obvious for a loss.
  19. Both of these are actually correct (except maybe the genius part). Gailey saw both Jackson and Spiller work all week. He should have seen that they were not ready to go, But not only chose to play them, but also not switch to Choice once he saw the issues during the game as well. If Spiller and Jackson would have shined, that would have been interpreted as Gailey seeing they were able to play at a high enough level, as any coach at the NFL level should be able to do. So in summary, if they played well then Gailey is not a genius, but rather a coach that can see if a player is capable of playing or not. As it turns out, either Gailey is not capable of determining that, or was so desperate he played them anyway. You make the call.
  20. "The refs screwed us" is the battle cry of a perennially crappy teams fans and has to get old to everyone at some point I would think.
  21. That 17% must be all pats*, Jets, and fish fans.
  22. Look again, the low lineman barely touches Fitz. And as far as the helmet to helmet on Fitz, if the QB does not slide (and I wish to God Fitz would slide more) he is a RB, and that kind of contact is legal on a RB. There is no point whining about officiating. The Bills got spanked and embarrassed. Time for SF now.
