This is stupid. No. No, you can’t ruin a rookie QB by starting him right away. Josh will have his peaks and valleys this season, but there is no substitute for “being behind the wheel” as McCoach puts it. I think he’ll be fine. He seems like a kid who is confident and also mentally tough.
By their rankings, and I know a lot will change, it seems like the “sweet spot” for OT’s will be in the 2nd & 3rd round. Top OT is currently ranked 16th overall with the rest 30’s though 60’s.
