  1. Seeing that you are citing some data sources, what source are you using to cite that people who consume “conservative” media believe that false accusations account for 50% of all accusations. Would be great to know!
  2. Or, it could be that information isn’t controlled by the few anymore and today “the masses” have much more access to information. I think the media really needs to take a hard look at themselves. IMO they’d be much better off if they stop blaming “people” for their problems and just did their job better. This is a broad generalization because there are excellent journalists. You are probably one of them. The other issue is that reporting and news has, in many outlets, been replaced by slant and editorializing. It’s a blurry line now.
  3. I appreciate you chiming I’m here JW. There are a couple things in this statement that I respectfully disagree with. First, the holding accountable part. I’m not really sure that’s the role of the reporters. We are not talking about government or corrupt medical companies here. This is a sports team and the results pretty much speak for themselves. Fans ultimately can and should hold the team accountable and it’s pretty easy to see whether or not there is anything to be held accountable for, a W-L record over a feed years. Second, reporting doesn’t have to be a binary thing. Either tough on the team and honest or easy on the team and dishonest. I don’t mind tough reporting, in fact it’s a good thing. However their columns and tv show consistently seemed to be filled with snark, condescension and a know better attitude. That’s what turned me off and I’d bet most people that were turned off by them. Anyway, just one mans opinion here. Much respect! ✊ Luck maybe, but also risk taking. Calculated risk taking is way undervalued and often more important that being the smartest person in the room. And they own the teams so they can do what they want. You may not like it, but that’s how it works. They don’t owe fans anything and we don’t owe them anything. You don’t like Kim being appointed to president, don’t support the team.
  4. I hope this is contagious and extends to WGR. Schoop needs to go. I don’t like to wish ill fortune on anyone but he’s just terrible to listen to in my opinion. Would be nice to have a decent afternoon Buffalo sports show on the radio.
  5. No offense to anyone, especially AJ, but other than the games he may start while Allen is learning and being a backup after that, he’s largely irrelevant to this team. I think the reason a QB like AJ is here instead of TT is because the bills have to have a semblance of an NFL passing game, primarily to let their rookie QB (Allen) learn. So I hope he lights it up, not expecting it. Also not expecting Peterman level disaster. And all that really matters is getting JA ready for prime time.
  6. Really? Those are the only two choices? That’s the binary? Either totally onboard and a loser fan, or totally against and woke? come on, grow up. There’s a lot of room in the middle.
  7. I suspected. Either way, it’s gotten so ridiculous on here. Troll threads don’t add anything, just clog up the front page and make it more acceptable to create a thread about anything.
  8. Holy crap, TBD has officially collapsed. I just went from a thread about not liking the draft process because it’s some sort of modern day slavery to one about not liking the term war room because it disrespects military. Sad state of affairs
  9. Trade 12, 22, a second and third this year and next years 1.
  10. Good call on both of those scenarios. I would agree on worst and second worst. However, if the latter happens, then if I were Beane I’d fill holes and pick a QB next year when you’re picking in the top-5. Also I’d take Rudolph in the second if you can get him there.
  11. I’m talking myself into Jackson. Getting him at 12 and filling in the roster could be intriguing. Ideally my I want Rosen, but I’m becoming more concerned we won’t have a shot at Darnold, Rosen or Mayfield. If jackson sucks, take another QB when we draft top-3 next year. I think it was 23 TDS on first down. Not total
  12. MO was right. Your original response was worthless. The information from Fairchild was at least worth an intelligent discussion - not a dismissive post. MO - 1 HYDE - 0 Then to compound your mistake you didn’t even take the chance to be humble when MO clearly gave you an olive branch. MO - 2 HYDE - 0
  13. 1. Sam Darnold - NY Giants 2. Josh Rosen - NY Jets 3. Josh Allen - Cleveland Browns 4. Baker Mayfield - Buffalo Bills 5. Lamar Jackson - Jacksonville Jaguars Bonus: Bills Pick - Baker Mayfield
  14. I know the OP is trolling, but it’s still an excellent example of how much the quality of this board has declined in the past year or so.
  15. Mmmmmm....chip board!
  16. BBMB no doubt
  17. This FO is incredible. Perfect signing for the situation. Just perfect.
  18. I’ll give you credit for one thing, definitely putting your reputational sac on the chopping block.
  19. You didn't explain the first time, so there's no again. Just stated an opinion, (incorrect, it was a potential scenario) misstated that the Colts would clear a ton of cap (they won't, this year - as far as I know, 2019, 2020, and 2021 matter) and implied that's something they need (they don't - really? 20m can buy a lot of help to build a team), and mis-equated the value of an unproven draftee QB with (if healthy) a generational top prospect (Luck is fantastic, but he’s fallen a bit short of the predraft evaluation for years ago) I'm done though (sounds good!) also and plus - the colts could be getting a couple valuable draft picks in return.
  20. There is much more to it and I don’t care to explain it, again.
  21. You really didn’t offer much of anything that’s not general knowledge, that’s the point. I wasn’t being snarky at all. Just fully aware of the information you passed along. Don’t agree with your conclusions. Why is that hard to understand? Passing along a few links to data that isn’t hard to find doesn’t make you an authority on the topic. Fully respect your opinion on this and am fairly certain most people would agree with your take, im not one of them. Again, not saying I think it’s likely. But I certainly think it makes a ton of sense for both teams, given all of the current circumstances.
