Point is that the whole article is essentially a restatement of a commonly held set of beliefs about the 2018 Bills. Could be right, could be wrong, but none of it is remotely insightful or interesting or original.

Fair enough, but nothing he wrote was very original or thought provoking.

I feel very fortunate to have learned that preseason prognostications from afar mean absolutely nothing. Not saying he’s wrong, just saying he has as much information and credibility as anyone with an internet connection and even that doesn’t really get you much. We we will see what happens soon enough.

I think most people, no, every single person realizes that preseason doesn’t mean much. Pointing that out on a message board is actually pointless. Just because use it’s preseason doesn’t mean you can’t be encouraged by what you see, however.

I’m embarrassed for Jalen and the media for even covering this nonsense. Jalen just showed the world how unintelligent he is. Those quotes were not just uncalled for, but incoherent and shows he barely has a grasp of the English language. Sad really, considering how on paper he competed high school and attended a prestigious university university like FSU. The media, on the other hand, shows how devoid they are of any semblance of interesting thought by breathlessly discussing this as if it were a treatise by Socrates. They are, a flat out joke at this point.

I may be in the minority, but I love the pick now and still think he should sit a bit. I just believe that he can learn a lot by sitting and watching for a bit before being thrown into a NFL game. I just don't see a need to rush him and think there is more risk to putting him in right away than potential reward by letting him get game action right away. I also feel ok with McCarron right now and could live with Peterman for a game or two. On the flip side, as much as I like Peterman as a competitor, I think he just has too weak of an arm to be anything more than a backup/spot starter.

I don't think it's a case of a clear 1 and a clear 2 for McD. I think he was planning on alternating the two in the first two weeks and then go with the number 1 for the third preseason game. It's not real controversial if you ask me. If anything, I get the feeling that he's setting McCarron up better, purposely, so that he can get consecutive starts in the second and third preseason game.

After last night, I feel much better about the QB situation and actually most of the offense. I think we saw a huge difference between the Dennison/Taylor combo. Not exactly sure where the blame lies in the past, but probably a combo of both. With Daboll and a QB who seems to play more of a traditional QB position, we saw decisiveness, hitting receivers coming out of their breaks, deeper over the middle throws, and what I thought was surprisingly decent pass protection in the first half. If we see more of what we saw last night, I think we keep three QBs and the pecking order for week 1 is: McCarron Peterman Allen

Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy with how JA played. He just didn’t look like he should be starting yet. And I think that’s fine. He clearly has all the tools and potential, but there’s no need to rush him. Especially if McCarron continues to play as well as he did today.

I would LOVE a new stadium complex like what’s in Foxboro, I mean Foxborough, but not if a penny of taxpayer dollars goes to it.

Baltimore is not good. I’d say the Ravens. Then it gets tough until they go 3-0 vs Tennessee, Houston, and Indy. I only see 4 real near guarantee losses. Minny, GB and two NE.

Maybe that’s technically true.... However she is staying in her ex-boyfriends house for about a year even though they broke up and he wanted her to leave. Any normal human being would pack up and leave. Maybe give her a few weeks or a month to find a new place. There is no excuse. For all the triggered folks in here, I’m not saying she deserves to be assaulted and physically harmed. That is reprehensible.

Generally I’d agree with you, and wasn’t the one who did this, but Murph’s first posted made sweeping generalizations about a group of people by calling 50% of them stupid while using poor grammar. So yeah, I think it’s fair to criticize his spelling and grammar.

Ha. Exactly. Very discouraging how everything turns political and how some people have the need for immediate conclusion. I mean, is it really impossible to know what role, if any, McCoy had in this. There are plausible explanations for either case. Don’t really see the need to assign a % to each here. We will just have to wait and see.
