Red Uniforms. Take them off. Burn them. Never wear them again.

oh hey everyone!

Tony Dungy can vouch for that. Losers rest before the playoffs. Winners rest after the SB.

both are true as you can clearly see. What’s the hard part reading those numbers? -

Whoops! 9.3 is less than 10, good pickup. .The difference between a WR2 and a WR4 I guess. Mahomes is averaging 14 more ypg since Hopkins got there. Is that dramatic? -

I'm sure all of these big new stadiums squeeze every penny out of the place...but it has always been true that there simply aren't enough events to fill them so they all sit empty for nearly the entire year. Look up any stadium's booking calendar. -

So against a good pass D, he gets targeted a ton, but against a mediocre pass D, he has to be a decoy only? Anyway....I haven't denigrated him even once doc--this is more of your obfuscation by straw man. For a 3rd time I'll say he was a solid pickup. For a 4th time, he's not what you are claiming him to be--but he doesn't have to be, nor does he need my love (lol, wtf). Debunking your fantastical claims isn't "denigration", by the way. Beane's career-long struggles drafting and signing guys for this WR room have been well documented here. Why pretend otherwise? -

He wasn't a decoy--he couldn't get open...against a suspect pass D. But i get that you need to feel he has been the game changer since he got here. -

you have that exactly backwards: after their trades, Cooper is averaging 38, Hopkins 48 ypg.---and 41% of Cooper's Bills yardage came in 1 game. One game?? His "one game" was vs. the Rams. Then there are all the other games. This year, he's caught 50% of the balls thrown to him for under 500 yards. On the Bills, 230 yards--in 6 games (he couldn't answer the bell for 2 other games). He's a much cheaper, lower output Gabe Davis at this point. He is an asset though, as I have said. Hopefully he comes to life in the playoffs and helps put them over the edge (SB appearance at least). -

Just checked M-B Stadium calendar of events. Relatively sparse (as all NFL stadiums are, frankly). But it seems weird for what is easily the premier and intended use of the stadium (Falcons games), the shop is closed. -

Wrong again doc. I think he was a solid pickup. Veteran presence with maybe a few ounces left in the tank. Always been a guy with mediocre catch% and problem with dropping the ball...but I believe he's a good addition to the room. Heck, why not? Anything is better than Diggs (who you refused to believe or conceive that he would go out that way....despite all evidence presented to you early on that he would act out at some point). But with Cooper, you fell compelled to create this scenario where he's still a "top WR" but who, as such, is used as a decoy. Compare him now to 2 other midseason "top WR" over 30 pickups: Hopkins and Adams. Not decoys there to "draw coverage". Why mythologize Cooper's impact thus far? It's not necessary. -
yeah who cares about “receipts”. He’s his own art form

he wasn’t WR2 or 3 on the Bills. WRs draw coverage on each play. So what? it’s pretty simple.. “top WRs” are not used mostly as decoys. Everyone was eating before he rolled in. -

there’s 6 other days they are open. ATL stadium is only sundays (essentially) when chick fil A is closed….. -
wow where to start with this take?! first, yes..Rodman is one of the greatest rebounders ever. That’s cool. But nowhere and in no universe would be considered NBA MVP for that. That’s nuts. Bulls win 3 in a row before The Worm joined. Pippen was a great Robin to Batman. But there was no team where he could be Batman. He was a creation of Jordan. Plus he was soft. What else you got? Paxton? BJ Armstrong? Bill Cartright? Kerr? Kukoc? lol come on. This take is wild

rest stops are open 7 days a week... anyway, this would save $42 for family of 4 assuming 4 dogs, 2 sodas (2 beers aren't affected). still about 300 bucks, so I don't think the owner is really thinking about fans "who don't want to spend a lot of money". -

he was in 2023. he isn't any more. he's not even top WR on his team. How much game planning will a Defense do when they see he's not being targeted? "top WRs" aren't put out there simply as decoys. They get targeted often--this really should be intuitively true for you. -
Name a player who is comparable to Josh Allen.....

yes, great scrambler. Josh is a great runner. Chuck Norris -

Watson is awful, true. But so is Winston. What is "completely wrong"? That Cooper isn't a WR1? That he isn't being doubled much? That they are 7-2 without him? That teams aren't gameplanning around an aging seldom used WR3/4? -

Elway only won SBs playing within a very tight structure (and a new HC). Elway rushed for -279 yards in college. Josh ran for 767 in only 27 games. Again, the myth of the prolific running QB as Elway is just that. he averaged under 15 ypg and had 33 career rushing TDs. Josh averages 39 and already has 45 rushing TDs. Elway was a great passer--threw a bunch of TDs (and a TON of INTS). As a runner-he was tough, sure. But his team rarely called run plays for him. His legend as a running QB basically is kept alive with an iconic clip of him helicoptering into the end zone. He's absolutely nothing like Allen as a runner. Big arm for sure ("Elway cross"). -
Unfortunately they are among the HOF voters. Maybe if he plays another 8-10 years and he racks up more accolades (he has only 3 Pro Bowls, a single "All Conference" All Pro (PFW only) he has a chance to enter at least a discussion about it.

In the city now--out the window of the living room, sun is shining, snow falling off the tree branches. It will be a slushy walk to the gym!

I'd say Newton--I've said Cunningham in the past and I can live with that. Different size, but for pure arm strength and running skill---Vick is a solid comp. The Elway as a runner is an absolute myth. He rarely had called runs--he was a good scrambler. But he wasn't a runner of any kind. He had 3400 yards....in 16 seasons. Cunningham came up in a time where people (usually not out loud) talked about "black QBs" as a certain code. So Cunningham, an actual great runner, gets kind of pegged as such while his passing power doesn't always get it's due.
