  1. career long bum...
  2. the season to this point and all of last year are fireable offenses for Daboll. He's the Hue Jackson of the NFC. He's only still there because the Jets canned the other worst coach in the NY metro area and Mara/Tisch didn't want to follow suit--bad look for the league That guy's D has stunk all year
  3. yes. by all means, let's go get the architect of that "turnaround"...
  4. weather definitely a factor in today's game.
  5. It's hard to imagine a team as bad as the Colts were still in it. Also, Mayfield tearing it up.
  6. you just don't get it do you....lol
  7. The starters in the secondary aren't that great when they aren't injured.
  8. it sure does. Rams are pretenders. 5 game winning streak against 4 dogs and the Bills. Bills are the only team they could score on.
  9. Steve Smith has to go in before Holt. Eli should walk right in. Jared Allen. Hester and willis for sure.
  10. Ravens D is 12 in points allowed. Ravens passing D is 29th in yards allowed---they were 6th last season.
  11. Flutie should have started that Tennessee game…
  12. yeah no one is really arguing about that particular game in this discussion.... scroll up, I'm headed outside!
  13. dang, that's a shame. frosted tips are still a great look, though--especially when caught on camera crying/yelling at your HC on the sidelines after a 3 turnover performance vs the absolutely awful Titans D.
  14. 1 playoff appearance (loss). currently having his worst statistical season (yards, attempts, TDs, completion %, 1st downs)
  15. Sure, at this point. But we are talking about all of the other games he has played in. The "vanilla" explanation makes no sense whatsoever for those other games. And what's not "vanilla" about just sending your best WR out there to beat guys and make big plays? I think this is the most likely reason he hasn't some much here. The rest of this stuff...nah.
  16. everyone draws coverage. he's a great route runner, to be sure. I think Josh just doesn't look for him as much as guys he's comfortable with (Kincaid, Shakir, Coleman). It's probably as simple as that. No need for people to conjure up these alternative scenarios where he is sucking up all the coverage when he's in there, or that he is on ice until they "break the glass" come the playoffs. It would make FAR more sense to give Cooper a ton of targets leading up to the playoffs so Josh can feel comfortable with finding him. The rest of this seems like nonsense. Keeping it "vanilla", simply by keeping a 32 year old journeyman WR on the sidelines for much of the season.... ? Why not just bench Allen?? It would get vanilla real quick..
  17. What other team brought in a shiny new toy midseason and didn't really use him (we are not in the midst of the playoffs, by the way)? Is that what KC is doing with Hopkins (for example)? Leading up to the playoffs (say, the past 4 games), who have the Lions "unnecessarily blown out"? Prior to that, they did this because Dan Campbell and Ben Johnson don't understand NFL 101?
  18. did he say that after the Seattle game? How about KC? SF? Were in "vanilla" when they put up 42 (and lost) in LA?
  19. well, he's not. so it's not a point worth making--he's not leaving/getting "QB money" that's "on the table". that's like saying, "had he not retired, he would be making millions per year"
  20. I'm not "inserting it"...it's fact. he has 12 catches since the end of October. when did the Bills "clinch"? Who else have they shut down like this? what other team has "hidden" their "top WR" the past 2 months in anticipation of the playoffs? he said that when talking specifically about why he's not looking Cooper's way?
