  1. anything can happen in this league
  2. good move never played up to his contract
  3. nobody gets em all right this mock was done before the combine of his top 11 picks....all but 1 went in the top 11 some guys only do one...the day before the draft.....easier to be accurate
  4. lots of players are superstitious.....pictures of family, good luck trinkets, stones, stop shaving, wear same socks or underwear, rub the top of someones head, etc... his wife is into the power of positive thinking and visualization.....likes lots of athlete people accurately predict the future all the time....its called intuition. this leap to devil talk is quite a stretch. P.S. - he better find out whats in those drops
  5. Trent Brown, LT Replacing Nate Solder in New England, Brown was outstanding in his first season after coming over from San Francisco. The former seventh-round pick is one of the biggest offensive linemen in the league and probably deserving of a Pro Bowl appearance through four seasons. Now proving he can handle the left side, Brown is in for a huge payday. It will be interesting to see how much interest the Pats have in retaining him, especially after spending a first-round pick on Isaiah Wynn in 2018. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/the-top-40-nfl-free-agents/ss-BBTiy3j?ocid=spartanntp#image=20
  6. Foles would have some control over a trade. He couldn't be moved until he signed his tender. Foles would effectively have a de facto no-trade clause or veto power since his cooperation would be necessary in order to be dealt to another team. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/agents-take-if-eagles-use-the-franchise-tag-on-nick-foles-heres-a-look-at-possible-risks-rewards/ https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/agents-take-if-eagles-use-the-franchise-tag-on-nick-foles-heres-a-look-at-possible-risks-rewards/
  7. Nick Foles tells Eagles he's opting out, paving way for franchise tag http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25933365/qb-nick-foles-opts-philadelphia-eagles-pick-option
  8. I have 10 seats. I did not get an invite. I did not say yes to anything that generated more revenue for them. likely those who indicated an interest in buying more seats or upgrading to club / suite level got an invite.
  9. he nailed it....outstanding directed to those (STH) who are looking for reasons to validate their continued financial support. he's paid to put a positive spin on it. everything he said is true and believable without sugar coating it. the naysayers can dismiss the letter as just words....that's fine too. hope springs eternal......this is the year that will define his tenure here.....won't have another $100 mil to spend in FA for quite awhile
  10. NE without brady assumes only trash backups at the position come next. they likely would have drafted or signed a different top QB....joey garrapolo, etc.... Brady is slightly better than manning, brees, etc.... In 2018 brady rated 12th in passer rating and 6th in total QBR. the gap between Belichick and the next best HC is cavernous. they need each other, but belichick's talents are more rare. salary cap management, trading away stars before huge contracts for more team controlled draft picks, discilpline, game plans, the patriot way.
  11. never gets old...…..some day....
  12. Call 888-8888 Stadium
  13. bills will take em as they come on either side but for this coming season.....I would use the draft to build the O-line and free agency to build the D-line
  14. overall success rate of 2nd round picks is 49% Historic Success Chart The numbers show us the following outline for finding consistent starters: 1st Round - OL (83%) LB (70%) TE (67%) DB (64%) QB (63%) WR (58%) RB (58%) DL (58%) 2nd Round - OL (70%) LB (55%) TE (50%) WR (49%) DB (46%) QB (27%) DL (26%) RB (25%) https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2015/2/20/8072877/what-the-statistics-tell-us-about-the-draft-by-round

  16. the NFL penalty for altering the inflation of a ball was a $25,000 fine. Aaron Rodgers admitted to over inflating his balls. the wells report proved nothing and in fact absolved the organization and head coach of any wrongdoing. brady was suspended for not fully cooperating. Roger Goodell and the league knew full well this was a common practice in the NFL and college. instead of entrapping one franchise he should have sent out a warning letter to all 32 teams saying cease and desist. had the Buffalo Bills won a super bowl under these same conditions.....the posts around here would be a lot different.
  17. Andy Reid didn’t call timeout when his defense needed it Just before the Patriots scored the game-winning touchdown, Romo said, “You can see the defenders for Kansas City, they’re exhausted over there.” Nantz asked, “Don’t you think a timeout?” Romo answered, “That’s exactly right, Jim, that’s a great call. This would be a perfect time to do it. Give them a break.” Instead, the Chiefs let the clock keep running, and the Patriots scored the game-winning touchdown. Reid fired his defensive coordinator this week, but timeout usage comes within the purview of a head coach. Reid put his defense in a bad position, by saving three timeouts that he would never use. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/01/25/andy-reid-didnt-call-timeout-when-his-defense-needed-it/
  18. so essentially , your buying a 2nd round pick for $6.5 million that would be under team control for at least 4 years at $2 mil/yr. you would have to eat $6.5 or keep bortles as a backup (who sucks) AND pay $2 mil/yr for an early 2nd round. total of $14.5 mil over 4 years for a 2nd round draft choice averages $3.6 mil/yr the bills signed free agent Jordan Poyer to a 4 year, $13,000,000 contract. I don't want bortles as a backup and I would rather use that money towards a somewhat known free agent vs the risk of a unknown rookie.
