  1. beane got great value for a 1 yr rental this other discussion revolves around some who think that because it's a 2025 2nd round pick....that its only worth half as much as if it was a 2024 2nd round pick....which i do not believe
  2. the only GM's who think this years 42nd pick is more valuable than next years 42nd.....is one who thinks he will be fired after this season and not around to use next years pick if his team doesn't improve this season. totally short term selfish reason....not in the best long term interests of the team
  3. if your willing to trade your next years 480 points (2nd round pick) for my this years 220 points (3rd round pick) i'd do that every year with ya. to me this years 42nd pick is worth exactly the same as next years 42nd pick.
  4. if that is true would you trade your next years 2025 @ 2nd round pick for my this years 2024 @ 3rd round
  5. according to the draft value chart minn gets #23 pick in 2024 draft is worth 760 points hou gets #42 pick in 2024 draft is worth 480 points hou gets #188 pick in 2024 draft is worth 16 points hou gets #42 ?? pick in 2025 draft is worth 480 points (which could go higher if minn struggles with new qb) which they just gave to bills hou TOTAL POINTS is 976 vs the 760 they gave up
  6. what is the "fee" the bills PSL Agent charges to complete/record a "TRANSFER" of the psl from an aftermarket transaction.....the agreement does not say
  7. The sale of Bills stadium PSLs are expected to raise between $100 million and $200 million, the News reported. https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2023/06/06/new-buffalo-bills-stadium-construction-is-underway-whos-paying-for-it/70290350007/
  8. maybe the bills are trying to avoid that situation.... and that is why they haven't announce PSL pricing ahead of time for every section. depending on how they do in the center section(s) between the 40 - 50 yard lines, may make them raise or lower what they thought they would do for sections between the 30 -40 yard lines.....and so on
  9. i don't think either of those things will happen anytime soon the bills would rather not sell a PSL seat to a STH for many years before they cut the price of a PSL in half and crash their own market. can you imagine the outrage finding out someone next to you paid less. they will just make unsold PSL seats available and part of the inventory that are sold as an individual game tix and hope to sell them as a full season, the following year. don't forget that even before individual game tickets go on sale to the public, they are offered to STH first. one way or another.....every bills game will be a sellout for the foreseeable future. as far as a PSL resale market goes.....the chances of anyone deciding after just 5 years to sell their PSL's will be a very small number. anyone who might be in that position wont get them in the first place. those who do sell will likely do way better than just "pennies" on the dollar. most will be transferred to a family member.
  10. don't see any way the bills have cap room to add a $17 mil player i see us using our first round pick on a WR1 i see us using our second round pick on an EDGE......unless a BPA WR fell in our lap i see us filing out the roster with mostly veteran minimum type players
  11. "attitude" directed at an opponent is one thing "attitude" directed at your own players, out in the open for all the TV cameras and fans to see, is completely another. the later type of attitude makes you a distraction.....not good. not showing up to camp on time, cryptic social messages, showing up your QB on the sidelines by yelling at him......not good there's a time and a place to dissent, vent, suggest a better way.....privately, in team position meetings, etc.... at some point the not good outweighs the good.....diggs went past that point
  12. When the new stadium opens in the fall of 2026, those in attendance may notice that the seating concourse is a little steeper than the current stadium. This is due to the new seating setup at the new Highmark being angled at 34 degrees, compared to the current 28-degree design the Bills use. With the new design, it brings fans closer to the game. Literally. The Bills say that fans who sit in the last row of the general concourse will be 54 feet closer to the field than they are at the current stadium. (which makes sense because there are less seats. where they grow the footprint is wider concourses outside the viewing area) https://www.wgrz.com/article/sports/nfl/bills/buffalo-bills-new-stadium-details/71-50e82fd3-1bf9-4adc-9592-3452bdc7f84d (i saw another article that said the new stadium will be 50 feet higher) https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-new-stadium-size-plans-seats-plans-highmark-stadium#:~:text=While the new stadium - expected to open, with deeper and higher seats (50 feet higher).
  13. Additionally, the stadium will have a perforated multidimensional exterior skin that will prevent swirling winds from getting to the field level. The construction of the new stadium will also have concourses that are enclosed, protecting fans from the elements as they walk around the facility. i mean the rain always comes straight down in orchard park...right ?
  14. The future 63,000-plus seat stadium will feature a canopy that will cover 65% of the seats and protect against wind and precipitation. (in the bills PSL agreement, it makes clear that seating capacity is subject to change) What are the chances the Bills will leave in the near future? When the deal was announced as officially completed in early April 2023, the documents included a non-relocation agreement that has language permitting the team from even considering a move. Specifically it says that the Bills shall not "entertain any offer or proposal to relocate the Team to a location other than the Stadium." If the Pegulas were to sell the team, the non-relocation agreement would apply to any new ownership. It also states in the document that if the team did try to leave Buffalo before the lease is up, the county or state could sue. While it is not impossible for the Bills to move based on the agreement, it is difficult and Poloncarz said that it should be the biggest takeaway from pages and pages of documentation. "The Buffalo Bills will be staying here, not only for the next few years during construction, but 30 years thereafter, so this lease secures them in our community until 2055," Poloncarz said. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/37773941/buffalo-bills-new-stadium-need-know
  15. The Bills have over 15,000 season ticket accounts and are asking Season Ticket Members to be patient throughout the process. (this was discussed here a few days ago without a definitive answer) https://www.buffalobills.com/news/updates-on-bills-2024-season-ticket-member-renewals-and-opening-of-bills-stadium-experience
  16. i suspect the renewal rate for club seat STH will be higher than 75% once they get their second chance meeting to secure tix in a less expensive area. the renewal rate for the lower bowl is where things will get interesting. if PSL prices stay high, i see alot of STH giving up their seats. if the bills adjust on the fly and lower the PSL price to something more reasonable, then they will have better success.
  17. i keep seeing 62-63,000 seats with an additional 5,000 SRO (standing room only area) i can't get confirmation on if all 63k seats will be STH ?.....it's on my list of questions when i go thru the "experience"...i'll get back to you late next year..lol
  18. so your an optimist....lol.....i'd say 5-6 wins without josh
  19. kind of.....but if viewed from the position the texans only want a 1 yr rental. you're getting a highly motivated and happy diggs playing for his next contract. (of course he could become unhappy not getting enough targets.....one can hope....lol) the dumb part for me is that they gave up a very early 2nd round Minnesota draft pick for that 1 yr rental..... that's steep
  20. Josh is absolutely the best single individual player in the league. but this is a TEAM game..... Unfortunately he is not surrounded by the best team or best coaching staff. he has improved every year talent wise, i expect the same this season. look at the difference with Joe Brady as OC in 2nd half of season....remarkable. now we have that for a full season they can truly spread the ball around without worrying about forcing things to diggs. look for all his other targets to step up. the biggest difference this season will be LEADERSHIP. 6 of 8 captains from last year are gone. only josh and von remain. this is josh's team now.....he's ready......look out NFL !
  21. if you take the CAP HIT that buffalo used on diggs for each of the 4 years we had him 2020-2023 (the first 3 years were low) AND added in the $31 mil dead cap we have in 2024. Diggs actual 4 year average with the bills was just under $20 mil......yep... thats a fair contract for both team and player for a 4x pro bowler. had diggs continued with us for the next 4 years (2024-2027) it would have averaged $19 mil (or 8 years at $19.5 mil/yr) i would not call that a disaster contract 2020- $14.8 2021- $6.4 2022- $11.7 2023- $14.8 2024- $31.0 TOTAL - $78.7 4 yr AAV- $19.7
  22. big year in leadership for josh......this is his team now of the 8 captains in 2023....6 are gone...only josh & von remain
