  1. The future 63,000-plus seat stadium will feature a canopy that will cover 65% of the seats and protect against wind and precipitation. (in the bills PSL agreement, it makes clear that seating capacity is subject to change) What are the chances the Bills will leave in the near future? When the deal was announced as officially completed in early April 2023, the documents included a non-relocation agreement that has language permitting the team from even considering a move. Specifically it says that the Bills shall not "entertain any offer or proposal to relocate the Team to a location other than the Stadium." If the Pegulas were to sell the team, the non-relocation agreement would apply to any new ownership. It also states in the document that if the team did try to leave Buffalo before the lease is up, the county or state could sue. While it is not impossible for the Bills to move based on the agreement, it is difficult and Poloncarz said that it should be the biggest takeaway from pages and pages of documentation. "The Buffalo Bills will be staying here, not only for the next few years during construction, but 30 years thereafter, so this lease secures them in our community until 2055," Poloncarz said. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/37773941/buffalo-bills-new-stadium-need-know
  2. The Bills have over 15,000 season ticket accounts and are asking Season Ticket Members to be patient throughout the process. (this was discussed here a few days ago without a definitive answer) https://www.buffalobills.com/news/updates-on-bills-2024-season-ticket-member-renewals-and-opening-of-bills-stadium-experience
  3. i suspect the renewal rate for club seat STH will be higher than 75% once they get their second chance meeting to secure tix in a less expensive area. the renewal rate for the lower bowl is where things will get interesting. if PSL prices stay high, i see alot of STH giving up their seats. if the bills adjust on the fly and lower the PSL price to something more reasonable, then they will have better success.
  4. i keep seeing 62-63,000 seats with an additional 5,000 SRO (standing room only area) i can't get confirmation on if all 63k seats will be STH ?.....it's on my list of questions when i go thru the "experience"...i'll get back to you late next year..lol
  5. so your an optimist....lol.....i'd say 5-6 wins without josh
  6. kind of.....but if viewed from the position the texans only want a 1 yr rental. you're getting a highly motivated and happy diggs playing for his next contract. (of course he could become unhappy not getting enough targets.....one can hope....lol) the dumb part for me is that they gave up a very early 2nd round Minnesota draft pick for that 1 yr rental..... that's steep
  7. Josh is absolutely the best single individual player in the league. but this is a TEAM game..... Unfortunately he is not surrounded by the best team or best coaching staff. he has improved every year talent wise, i expect the same this season. look at the difference with Joe Brady as OC in 2nd half of season....remarkable. now we have that for a full season they can truly spread the ball around without worrying about forcing things to diggs. look for all his other targets to step up. the biggest difference this season will be LEADERSHIP. 6 of 8 captains from last year are gone. only josh and von remain. this is josh's team now.....he's ready......look out NFL !
  8. if you take the CAP HIT that buffalo used on diggs for each of the 4 years we had him 2020-2023 (the first 3 years were low) AND added in the $31 mil dead cap we have in 2024. Diggs actual 4 year average with the bills was just under $20 mil......yep... thats a fair contract for both team and player for a 4x pro bowler. had diggs continued with us for the next 4 years (2024-2027) it would have averaged $19 mil (or 8 years at $19.5 mil/yr) i would not call that a disaster contract 2020- $14.8 2021- $6.4 2022- $11.7 2023- $14.8 2024- $31.0 TOTAL - $78.7 4 yr AAV- $19.7
  9. big year in leadership for josh......this is his team now of the 8 captains in 2023....6 are gone...only josh & von remain
  10. very possible the bills gave diggs agent permission to seek a trade weeks ago. diggs knew he was in play....hence his social media comment "ready for watever". diggs agent knew that houston would give diggs what he really wanted....to be a free agent in 2025 what's surprising most to me....is houston gave up a very valuable minnesota 2nd round pick for a 1 yr rental on the sports talk show SPEAK....shady mccoy said he was told by diggs brother, before it happened the stefon diggs was going to houston. the betting line on where diggs would start the season, shifted bigtime to houston on the saturday before the trade was announced. insider info spread quickly
  11. couple things #1- you do NOT need diggs permission to turn base salary into a guaranteed signing bonus pushing cap into the future. you just do it if you want. #2- you do need diggs permission if the restructure lowered the base salary and/or turned any of it into incentives. #3- it would not be surprising if diggs was approached for restructure of some kind. beane did that for almost the entire team. #4- seeing as diggs was so unhappy and wanted out, it's not surprising he had no interest in a restructure. #5- i highly doubt beane is confiding in anyone outside his most inner bills circle details like that. put me down as skeptical. someone making a possible guess as to what may or may not have been the final straw that broke the camels back.
  12. PRO's : elite talent, passion CON's: selfish, constant distraction the Buffalo Bills O-line coach's daughter immediately posted GOOD RIDDANCE......something is/was seriously wrong inside that locker room
  13. for 2023 there were just under 64,000 season tickets. the capacity is just over 70,000. they deliberately hold back some for individual sale. i dont think the new stadium will be 100% season ticket (i could be wrong) https://www.buffalobills.com/news/updates-on-bills-2024-season-ticket-member-renewals-and-opening-of-bills-stadium-experience
  14. Josh is the best individual player in the league....i truly believe that. unfortunately this is a TEAM game and josh doesn't have the best team or the best coaching supporting him. as long as Josh is healthy, the Bills will be a Top team. we will have another WR1 soon enough
  15. theres no sugar coating the negative short term 2024 hit that $32 in dead cap hurts. but there's a big long term cap savings for 2025, 2026 & 2027 ...AND a bonus early 2nd round draft pick that can be used to replace him. diggs didn't want to be here, the bills didn't want him....it had to be done. beane did well out of a bad situation
  16. no denying diggs was an elite pro bowl level WR for all 4 years in buffalo it's crazy that in spite of that, he was so unhappy and the bills so tired of his distractions
  17. there are 6-7 WR's with a first round grade in this draft stay where you are at #28 (maybe use a 4th to move up a couple) and take a WR. make a big move up in 2nd round (with a future 2nd or 3rd) and grab another WR. i would hate to trade up in this years draft to Top 10......the price is just more than i want to pay.
  18. i think diggs will come to regret forcing his way out of buffalo. 4x pro bowler.....all and only with josh. the bills #1 target. beloved by most of the fan base. he had it made here. elite QB, a Top 5 team. he has now been reduced to a 1 yr rental. if the texans had any intention of keeping him long term they wouldn't have made him a 2025 free agent. he's on the wrong side of 30. unlikely he is #1 in targets for houston. his next stop will probably make less and win less. dare i say....what an idiot
  19. DEEP THREAT !! that's what is missing and needed ! bills will likely get that with first pick in draft whether they move up or stay at 28. i also see them adding another wr via free agent
  20. beane indicated, but did not divulge, there were more than one reason(s) for parting with diggs. WHAT CHANGED ?? diggs was a known diva before he got here. they knew, like most wr1's he wanted alot of targets, they knew all his warts. the unspoken final nail ? josh allen got tired of coddling him. that relationship soured. he gave his blessing to move on.
  21. Josh had better QB Rating when NOT throwing to Diggs
  22. #1- she can sell it (so thats true)...if she meets certain conditions....see the agreement "Transfers" #2- there are PSL markets already for every other nfl team. it's a virtual certainty there will at some point, be one for bills PSL's. The bills are just saying, we have nothing to do with those aftermarkets. #3- Dallas PSL's do sell for more than the initial fee (so thats true). but they are more the exception than the rule. check on the browns & jets for a more likely outcome that can be expected for the bills PSL's. #4- the important thing to the bills is that whoever you transfer the PSL to.....signs a newly created iron clad PSL agreement between the bills and the new Licensee.
