  1. The rule requires officials to note two actions: If a defender "grabs the runner with both hands or wraps the runner with both arms" and also "unweights himself by swiveling and dropping his hips and/or lower body, landing on and trapping the runner's leg(s) at or below the knee."
  2. way too many injuries from hip drop tackles reckless and dangerous....just like a horse collar tackle will it be hard to apply with consistency from ref to ref....yes, just like lots of other rules
  3. total class act outplayed his contract almost every year a great bill lost a step or two of speed at the end wish him the best....except of course when he plays us
  4. i agree we have not taken a step back..... but neither has half the league... in fact, i think the 2024 team will be better than 2023 and beane isn't even done improving. need to wait and see how this things shake out for everyone. but according to neutral las vegas betting odds....bills currently have the 4th best chance to win it....which is pretty darn good, but probably where we were last year.
  5. absolutely ! time to draft WR1 in first round.......prepare for life after diggs
  6. #1 - WR1 (we should be preparing now for life after diggs) #2- Center (moving McGovern over is not the best idea) #3- DT ( a RUN stuffer, not a penetrating like oliver) #4- OT (there is no quality depth) i know u said starters, but i'm not convinced on spencer brown yet.
  7. (not picking on poster...just that the names brady & mahomes caught my eye) what josh doesn't have is Hall of Fame Coaching.....that's huge what josh doesn't have is the best team around him.....that's huge yes this is a team game and rings matter, but if you just look at the individual contribution to a plays success...josh is the best QB and player in the league. i fully trust that josh is setting aside the necessary time to stay in shape and improve on his craft.......and still find time to chase pretty girls, play golf and make TV commercials. we are lucky to have him !
  8. Bills Wire info https://billswire.usatoday.com/lists/buffalo-bills-sign-mike-edwards-one-year-chiefs-buccaneers-nfl/
  9. in the most recent super bowl he played 73 of 75 defensive snaps
  10. nothing special... PFF Safety rankings out of 95 qualified Blackmon #38 Poyer #46 Hyde #53 Edwards #82 Rapp #85
  11. PFF rank #118 of 130 interior defenders (DT's)....not good #16 Arik Armstead #44 Ed Oliver #64 Sebastian Joseph Day #81 Tim Settle #118 Austin Johnson #129 Jordan Phillips
  12. spotrac is showing clev restructured his 2024 5th yr option money of $12,987,000 into: $1,125,000 2024 base $2,372,400 2024-2028 each year (5) restructure bonus (might be a voidable yr) (not showing the new money yet)
  13. Marvin Harrison Jr. Clocked At Faster Time Than Anyone In The NFL https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/marvin-harrison-jr-clocked-at-faster-time-than-anyone-in-the-nfl/ar-AA1gFK6L
  14. if i'm Arizona....i'm trading this pick to Minnesota for #11 & #23 in 2024 plus more in 2025 still be a WR1 at #11
  15. good move at this point, he will likely be the first non-QB taken all he can do is hurt his chances....he can't improve them
  16. $12.0 Dal 2020 (cap) $22.0 Dal 2021 (cap) $06.0 Dal 2022 (dead) $04.9 Cle 2022 (cap) $23.77 Cle 2023 (cap) $23.77 Cle 2024 (cap) $07.55 Cle 2025 (dead) $100 mil TOTAL now...if they keep him for 2024....its $23.77 cap 2024 AND the 2025 dead of $7.55 for a total of $31.32 if they cut him, its a dead cap of $11.328.....doesn't that make the real savings $20 mil ? if so, he's gone
  17. per Spotrac.....Dallas took that $6 mil Dead Cap hit in 2022
  18. because they played accounting games in 2022 by converting $18.88M to signing bonus, adding two void years pushing some into future. the nfl is a hard cap, eventually you gotta pay the bill......but they allow you to push some of that into future dummy voidable years. he signed a 5 year / $100 mil deal in 2020. if you add up his cap hits 2020-2024 plus the 2 void years it almost adds up his cap hit in 2022 was only $4.9 $18.8 divided by 5 years is $3.776....that $11.328 is 3 times $3.776 if they keep him ...his 2024 cap is $23.776 AND they will incur a 2x$3.776= $7.552 DEAD CAP in 2025 Dallas probably ate some dead cap when they traded him in 2022 the original 5/$100 only had $60 guaranteed....thats all been paid likely none of his 2024 current $23.76 cap has guaranteed money ($20 & $3.76)
  19. in this particular case...amari coopers current dead money is the total of both voidable years $7.552 & $3.776 = $11.328 thats all of it its not $11.328 PLUS another $11.328 if they cut him today...they save $12.448 and the voidable years are gone ($23.776 cap, minus $11.328 dead = $12.448 sav) would not be shocked if they parted ways
  20. PFF rank #11 Brown, Trent (cin) #22 Dawkins #32 Brown, Spencer #45 Brown , Orlando (cin)
