  1. it all goes into the general fund....... its like saying proceeds from the lottery goes to education....technically it can be true.....then less money comes from the general fund to reach the level of funding they intended in the first place
  2. part of the healing process
  3. Are you losing interest in the NFL ? let's see.... the bills are finally good i won my fantasy league doing well on my caesars app ANSWER: HELL NO
  4. i may retire = i'm not the highest paid defensive player in the league P.S. i'm not happy about no guaranteed money left on my remaining deal either
  5. WR is the one area in free agency where good veterans would be willing to take a short term team friendly deal to play with josh
  6. in the draft and free agency its the DL position beane has invested the most in would not be a surprise at all to see that continue
  7. fills 1 of our 3 biggest needs CB DT IOL
  8. prefer he drill another well
  9. #1 overall ($37 mil) or 3 picks #30($13), #25 ($14) & #57 ($5) only if i needed AND there was a franchise qb there at #1 otherwise, i prefer keeping my picks, spreading the risk of injury over 3 players and saving a few bux
  10. bury the lead....protect the shield....move along......rinse repeat
  11. $7 mil for one 30 second spot the smartest of them all ??..... texas furniture salesman Mattress Mack.....by placing a $4.5 mil bet straight up on cincy, not only could he win $7.7 mil, but he is getting $100 mil in free advertising (exaggerated estimate)
  12. The Texans will not receive compensatory draft picks through the Smith hire. Under the league's Rooney Rule, teams receive two third-round picks for developing a minority assistant who is hired for a head-coaching job. However, because Smith is not leaving for another team and has not been on Houston's staff for two years, the Texans will not receive compensation. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33238258/houston-texans-hire-lovie-smith-head-coach
  13. #1 - CB - the two weakest starters vs KC were both corners #2 - DT - we got gashed vs the run several times this season #3 - OL - we have absolutely no depth
  14. it's more like two hand touch player safety alone should cancel this game it should be an awards show for the actual winners....no alternates.....combine it with the man of the year show
  15. Lovie had cutler in chicago and Mccown & winston in tampa you cant be a great coach without a great QB
  16. josh will be a magnet attracting free agent WR's trying to resurrect their careers on a team friendly deal
  17. i'd love to see him caught in a run down trying to steal a base......he'd be a tough out.....lol
  18. he's a below average talent....worst contract on the team in addition to the $1.5 mil cap saving in 2022....you also eliminate the $2.6 mil in dead money for cutting him if u wait til 2023 this is a tough one...but i say bite the bullet now......i honestly feel a minimum wage player will be just as good if not better ...CUT HIM NOW
  19. just sending a message over his contract.....he's got very little leverage he's under contract for 2022 they will likely excerise his 5th yr option for 2023 then they can franchise tag him in 2024 for much less than he will want
  20. i dont think so...(not sure)...only if a team "loses" a candidate The policy allows a team that loses a minority assistant coach or executive — to become a head coach or GM of another team — to receive a third-round compensatory pick for two years.
  21. tanking is not worth it !! take the browns....they tanked at least two years in a row.....resulting in them getting the #1 overall pick twice how'd that work out for them ??? NOT SO GOOD !!....lol i am absolutely against a draft lottery.....it hinders PARITY the advantages of parity far outweigh the possible disadvantages of tanking one of the main reasons the NFL is so great is PARITY the NBA & NHL have a draft lottery......do they have parity ??.....heck NO in fact, an argument can be made that a draft lottery would make tanking worse by incentivizing even more teams to have a shot at the #1 overall pick. the current set up involves maybe 2-3 teams with a chance.....a draft lottery gives all 18 non playoff a chance at #1
