wouldn't advise it. game can end as late as 4:30 pm. no matter, if you stay til the end, and leave with the crowd, you are probably NOT making a 6:15 flight (check in 1 hour early). if you leave early (at least 5 min or more of game time remaining), then it's doable.

if you cut him now, you save $1.1 mil this year with $2 mil dead money (that could be spread out over this year and next) and all of his $3.4 mil salary/cap hit next year (no dead). it just seems that average veterans like manny are getting squezzed out of the league in favor of high paid impact players and minimum paid rookies/free agents.
