Dansby suspects foul play from 2008 game in New England
“My headset was working fine, every game,” Dansby said. “Until the very last game of the year. We get in Foxboro, they couldn’t get my headset fixed, for nothing in the world.”
In that same game, Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart also had trouble with his own headset.

totally flawed formations
on offense we will have more snaps with 2 wr's than with 3 (the FB will play a prominent role on 1st and 2nd downs)
on defense we will be in a 3-4 most of the time on 1st &2nd downs, with mario and hughes playing more OLB, with dareus & kyle as DE's and a yet to be determined NT.
shady is clearly #1
fred should be #2
#3 is up for grabs, but i'd say the kid from florida st is safe.
#4 booby is next if they keep 4 (might keep the 2 FB's)
i think that fast dude, i can't remember his name, is in big trouble.
The irony is that once the deflated footballs were removed at halftime of the AFC Championship Game, Brady's numbers improved dramatically.
The Patriots didn't need deflated balls to throttle the Colts or beat the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl. They didn't need the miniscule advantage Spygate afforded them, either.

having said that, brady and belichick each should have gotten a 1 year suspension.
as an example, the pats just signed TE Scott Chandler, a proven veteran , for 2 years / $5.3 mil, which is about what they would spend on a first round pick.
brady and belichick should both have gotten 1 year.
the fine is not a deterrent.
the loss of draft pick is a minor deterrent, as the salary cap money that would have been used on a first round draft choice can still be used on an UFA.
what if an mlb team slipped juiced baseballs into a game while they were at bat ?
the pats got off lightly
i think brady and belichick should have gotten a full year each.
if the rolls were reversed and it was our Bills who had won all those super bowls pushing the envelope bending and breaking rules, the comments on this board would be quite different.
the question i always wonder more is how a silly asterisk * makes anyone feel better ?
bottom 5 for last years O-line is very fair.
so far, the only upgrade is richie, a guy who didn't play last year.
unless someone steps up or whaley makes another move, we will be lucky to crack the Top 20.
NFL owner on Kraft-Goodell relationship: “Pretty much dead”
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/12/nfl-owner-on-kraft-goodell-relationship-pretty-much-dead/
As PFT noted back in March, the Panthers and Vikings were caught (literally) red-handed in late November, with ball boys using sideline, jet-engine, gates-of-hell heaters. So what happened to the Panthers and Vikings? They and the rest of the league received a reminder that this kind of thing is frowned upon. when the NFL became aware of what the Panthers and Vikings were doing, the NFL said, “Stop it.” The NFL didn’t do that with respect to the Patriots, opting to set a trap in lieu of alerting them to the concern and warning them to knock it off as the AFC title game approached.
