I saw THE Maddencruiser once. He lived in Pleasanton, CA age next town over from where I lived. It had the Outback (they sponsored it ) and Madden logos on it and was parked at the Outback in my town . Probably had someone drive him to the b=us ( about 3-4 niles away because he lived in a gated community and they probably wouldn't;t get them drive it to his door.

Best fight I saw was at a Bills-Jets in the 80s. Was looking at the end zone with binoculars (best fights were there as the UB New Yawkers would get drunk and start fights). I see a Jets and Bills fan arguing. The Bills fan's girlfriend reaches over his back and levels the Jets fan with one punch.

Was doing a plug on a Sacramento station for a gig back in maybe 2012. The dj said he showed up late and was plastered (at 9AM). Had him on for about 2 minutes. Surprised he lasted this long.

Had a couple disappear driving from San Jose to San Francisco on a Friday evening on Route 101 (10 lanes). The whole area is heavily developed. Cops searched for a few days and finally someone spotted a car had run off the road into a very marshy and weedy area. At least 10k cars passed by that spot. They found the couple drowned in the front seat of their submerged car.

Our company was located in Alameda, CA and we had a place in NJ that several people would travel to regularly. One guy would get tickets for several days, use one and get refunds for the rest if he had to come back earlier or later than scheduled. At about noon on 9/11, when we were watching the news in the lunchroom, he came in and showed us something. He had flown back on the evening of 9/10 and had a boarding pass for flight 93 (the one that crashed in PA). If he had not finished early and come back the night before, he would have been on that plane.
