  1. Tried riding on a friend's around the block once. That was enough for me. His brother ended up getting hit by a car when he was stopped to make a legal left turn. Ended up in ECMC trauma ward. The doc told him he was one of the few that walked out of the ward. For the rest of his life he was on disability, couldn't walk right, had incontinence problems and also could not get it up. He died in his 40s from a brain tumor. Also had a neighbor that was out of work for at least 6months because a deer ran into his motorcycle on our street.
  2. Game was September 30, 1990. Had seats on the goal line 35 rows up (all these scores in front of me).I remember the date because it was the day before my dad died. He was in the Oncology ward at Mercy Hospital. The next day I went after school to visit him and pick up my mom. I remember explaining to him what had happened and about 10 minutes later, he died from a massive hemorrhage from a lung tumor.

  6. Kind of like Jock Itch? It slowly grows on you and then you hate it?
  7. Words are hard things for Tibs. He prefers picture books, especially the kind you color in.
  8. My cousin lived on the road right next to that Iron Bridge, It was right on Clinton, just before the county line. He said in the later 70s they dredged out the creek bottom there and also made it so there was no access down the banks,. There was a deep pool in the creek, but right next to it was a ledge only a few feet under the water. I think the last kids killed diving there were in the early 70s.
  9. I thought you were in import and export of latex products.
  10. The guy in the video reminds me of the hippie teacher (Mr. Van Driessen) in the Beavis and Butthead cartoons.
  11. That's where I saw the Leprechaun. He tells me to burn things.
  12. My cat's breath smells like cat food- Ralph Wiggum
  13. Butch Rolle was a TE. 38 career receptions but 11 for TDs. I remember the "shake rattle and Rolle" play. Goal and one or two yards. Shake the ball in front of Thurman, rattle up the line and throw it to Rolle for the TD!
  14. Hadn't gone to the doctor for 7 years (age 50-57). Had a stroke at age 57. Now 4 years later, I go yo my GP, cardiologist , nephrologist, and neurologist twice a year. Lots off stuff can I have no outward symptoms which tests can find. My nephrologist checks my creatinine level which is a sign of kidney damage if it goes up too high. You don't have any major symptoms until it is pretty high. When I had my stroke, they said I had about a month before my kidney failed (I only have one since I had the other remove when I was 4 in 1961). I'm ok now. A friend had a routine PSA test (had no symptoms at all. The # was through the roof. He had to have his prostate removed at Roswell it was full of cancer. He is fine now. Get a checkup to head off any future problems.
  15. The one on Forest has a small electrical box in the wall where you waited in line . There was a piece of wood in there to stop someone from getting electrocuted. Someone wrote on it "Can't F*** with this a**h***." The original 3 locations (Forest, Bailey and Seneca) had no seats. You ordered, got the food, and left. At the Bailey location I had gotten my food and was waiting outside for my friend to get his, A guy comes running up the sidewalk chased by several other guys. He suddenly grabs me to use me as a shield against the others. One of those guys takes me, pushes me off to the side and they start pummeling him until the police sirens start and they all take off.
  16. Watched him all the time before going to school in the 60s.
  17. To the tune of "Copacabana" Down at the Taco, the Mighty Taco The place where the cool and the hip go Down at the Taco, the Mighty Taco Soft, hard and super they won't' hurt your pooper... Also one from probably 1975: Hey! There's somebody in our dumpster! Oh, it's just the guy from the other taco place using OUR garbage to make HIS tacos.
  18. And pleasuring yourself to a 95 year-old Catwoman, not the sexy 30-year old on the TV show.
  19. I find it a real stretch to relate air pollution to a disease that is caused by autoimmune disease (type 1) and obesity (type 2). Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes is when you body kills off the insulin producing cells. Type 2 is when your body still makes insulin but the cells don't respond to it.
  20. OK, I'll be honest. They are lying sacks of s***.
  21. Candlestick has been torn down.
  22. If your house is destroyed by lava, the ownership of newly created land is the least of your worries.
  23. I was in 11th grade the year of the Watergate hearings (1974) and that is US history. The teacher spent most of the spring going over the Constitution and she used the hearings to go over yje part on impeachment. We had homework to watch the news about the hearings.
