  1. If we were to pick up a WR in FA, the one I think that would make a lot of sense would be Adam Thielen. He wants to go to a contender with a good QB, he's still a good possession WR and I do believe there will be a much more concerted effort from the Bills to adopt a similar transformation arc of what we saw with KC going from early 2021 season to being a more dynamic down-the-field passing team that would get stymied against good pass rushing teams and schemes to a more ball possession passing team that led them to an incredible offensive team this past year. I don't think we should abandon or come close to abandoning the down-the-field passes but we definitely need to get more possession oriented and a WR like Thielen who is crafty and a good route runner would be a good affordable option.
  2. This guy could be available in the 4th or 5th round and looks like a potential TE sleeper. Off-the-charts athleticism and size and had a really productive junior year. Looks like he could turn out to be a good blocker and has some wiggle to his route running.
  3. I can’t really say that I’m surprised.
  4. It peaks my curiosity wondering what happens behind the scenes to trigger him into doing these sort of things.
  5. A clear upgrade either at the Right tackle or OG spot. Or someone who will compete vs Gabe for the #2 WR An in-between the tackle sort of RB that will get around 5-10 Carries game Possibly a MLB to replace Edmunds if the Bills don’t draft one. Possibly a safety who will compete for a starting spot along side Hyde. Possibly someone who will compete for a roster rotational spot on the D-line. Possibly someone who will compete for a roster spot at CB.
  6. Addison or Cyrus
  7. Hyde is still producing but won't get good trade value - KEEP Ed Oliver - TRADE ( 2nd - 3rd round value) AJ Epenesa - Shows some potential not worth trade value - KEEP Mitch Morse - KEEP NyHiem Hines - Ask for pay cut to stay Tre White - Restructure Dion Dawkins - Restructure J.A - Restructure McKenzie - CUT Edmunds - LET WALK Draft and FA priorities for significant playing time or starter WR RT Guard MLB Safety (If Benford isn't the answer) Draft and FA for Depth CB Safety
  8. This is all very strange. It is extremely rare for a DC or OC to request from management to take a year off, that just doesn't make sense. I don't believe he was forced out either, he wouldn't just take a year off while being forced out, he'd want to coach elsewhere and there would be plenty of suitors. My suspicions are that there were disagreements between the two and in the process Frazier requested a year off understanding that this was the end of his days as DC.
  9. If you were to ask me who I would rather have next year, Henry or Oliver? I would take Henry over Oliver in a heartbeat. They both will have roughly the same cap hit, Henry I believe is on his last year and it could be possible that Titans will look to trade him.
  10. Of course the cap matters. These aren't fake numbers, the cap maneuvering is just a way to kick the can down the road, but at the end at some point there is a reckoning. Also, this whole Lamar Jackson debate with some analysts who say "Just pay the man". "Do it at whatever cost", these sort of proclamations and analysis is lazy. Yes, I agree that you should do everything within reason to keep him or any other young franchise QB but it's not at "any cost". Fully guaranteeing his contract means there is very little cap maneuvering - you have less flexibility to help the team out in the interim, not to mention Lamar has been very injury prone the past couple seasons and lets face it, Lamar without his running ability is a middling QB. Where the Ravens went wrong was not signing Lamar up to a long-term deal after his third year, now they are paying the price of the Deshaun Watson fully guaranteed debacle. My guess is that after the Hurts, Burrow and Herbert contracts which I would imagine will go back to not fully guaranteed contracts will bring the QB market back to where it was, probably with a little more guaranteed money pre Watson. I bring up Lamar because I was listening to Brandt yesterday on NFL Sirius and he was expressing frustration with the Ravens for not getting the deal done.
  11. Zay Jones was always a different type of cat.
  12. There are plenty enough good pieces on defense to do without Oliver, Edmunds, Poyer, Lawson and Jackson. I’d love to have them but cap constraints and reprioritization have to be done. Need to invest more valuable resources in FA and draft on O line and WR, and hopefully hit later round picks on the other spots.
  13. By the time we get to training camp and the start of the season he’ll be just fine, but if we begin to start losing and he isn’t getting the ball that much, watch out! Ultimately, I think the Bills will have another successful regular season and expect them to go far in the playoffs.
  14. Yes on a 7 year deal, with maybe around $60m of that guaranteed, that would work and would be a good deal for both sides.
  15. Ed Oliver is a good but not great player. Buffalo has a lot of difficult decisions to make and honestly, if you could get a 2nd round draft choice for him they should make the trade. We could use the draft capital and the money. I’d rather roll with Settles, Phillips, DaQuan and some mid round pick to anchor the middle.
  16. I had said a couple weeks ago that he would most likely get around $40 Million a year. It's not because I believe he's worth $40M, just that this is a QB driven league and there is probably enough out there on him for some team to take the gamble. Personally, I think he's a $25M a year QB, but he'll get at minimum $35M
  17. Yes, find a way to get Deandre Hopkins, use a couple premium draft picks to get O lineman, hope for a healthy Von Miller, a fully healed T. White, that Kair Elam can take a year two leap and sign Edmunds to a long-term deal. Also, we really have to look into playing more aggressive coverage at the DB spot and that falls on Frazier. In terms of the offense, I think we should somehow look to have a similar approach that the Eagles and 49ers have which is dependent on having a strong O-line and a commitment to the run game with lots of play action. When I watch their offenses play, they seem to have a real purpose, there is a clear rhyme or reason. One side note, Daquan Jones was very missed this game and for that matter so was Von Miller.
  18. I think they don’t anticipate nearly as many down the field attempts as last week. Cincinnati most likely will be looking to take the down the field options and hope that Allen presses for them.
  19. I don’t think you want him to be so much in his head both figuratively and literally during game play. All the prep and instruction should have been done during the week and then let Josh do his thing.
  20. What’s the Bills record since all these turnovers been happening? How many points per game they been putting up?
  21. Is this a serious post or an attempt to troll? It’s anything they can hang their hat on to confirm their priors.
  22. The window will always be open while Josh Allen is here And the Bengals were way way outplayed by the Ravens with Tyler Huntley and their best WR out yet they were fortunate to get that fumble.
  23. No other QB comes close to comparing. This is yet another reason why Josh is the difference.
  24. What this tells me is that the Bills are much more effective running the ball in terms of yards and efficiency and that Cincinnati uses their running backs a decent bit more than the Bills, not so much that they are more efficient just passed to much more often.
  25. After one full drive for each team you came to that conclusion???? This has to be a troll account.
