  1. Just do a Google search for Aaron Rodgers conspiracy theories and you’ll get quite a treasure trove.
  2. That’s probably his natural position and the Bills may be able to dupe some 3-4 team into a trade, but ultimately you have to beat the guy in front of you, no matter what DL position you play, and Basham doesn’t seem to do that very often.
  3. Like when the NY Giants had Vince Lombardi as OC and Tom Landry as DC.
  4. In a 3-4 defense, the OLBs are basically the same as Von Miller or Hughes are/were in the 4-3. Bennett-Still-Smerlas-Smith-Talley … a #1 overall, two #2 overalls, and two 2nd round picks. A lot of investment, and for my money, the best defensive front the Bills have ever had.
  5. Better than Bennett you think? Bennett was a #2 overall pick and had a much longer track record of success than Paup, who only really had the one great year for the Bills.
  6. Basically the impression I got too. I understand looking for depth and ST on day 3, but the Williams pick seemed too soon for me. Even so, if the top two picks turn into solid starters it would still be a decent draft, IMO.
  7. Dallas basically flipped a switch at halftime and took the game over. They ran the ball right down the defense’s throat and pitched a second half shutout. To me, this was the most depressing Super Bowl of the four because the Bills didn’t really play like crap, have a million turnovers, lose their starting QB, miss the winning FG, etc. They just ran up against a team that raised their game to a level the Bills could not match. It was hard to find excuses after that game.
  8. SB26 and especially 25 are the ones that got away. Dallas was a whole different animal and probably one of the best team of all time, IMO. Beating them was always going to be tough.
  9. Blitz packages that they couldn’t pickup. Kelly was under constant pressure in both games and the receivers had trouble vs the press man because, as you say, the refs let the DBs get physical with them.
  10. Great defensive game plan by Wade Phillips. It was copied by Washington who would have similar success on defense vs the Bills in the Super Bowl. Bills D definitely stepped up at home with an insane crowd behind them to bail the offense out.
  11. Andy Reid is one of the best OCs of all time. Pairing him with Mahomes makes KC incredibly tough, as we can see.
  12. There is one ball. Even if it’s as you say and he’s wide open but Allen is too blind to throw it to him or the play insists than he doesn’t get the ball even if open, going to Knox more means going to Diggs / Davis / slot WR less or running the ball even less with a weak OL. Then you have to believe that Knox can run a wider variety of routes and stay healthy enough to be relied on for a larger portion of the offense, too.
  13. All players would have better production if they were used more. The question of whether they should be is based on whether the team would do better if they were, and that's very subjective.
  14. Not that he isn’t a good player, but if the Bills spent that kind of salary cap space on a CB, this board would melt down.
  15. This is what really stinks. And they don't even have a drafted, cost controlled replacement on the roster, so they're going to have to find FA. I wonder what the cost difference will really be.
  16. Frazier was asked about this before the playoff game and basically said that he didn't think the Bills got far enough into their defensive game plan to properly evaluate how effective it was, so not much was going to change.
  17. They don’t build air supported domes anymore.
  18. I hear you, but you kind of have to include him since he’s the probably the answer to the question.
  19. I think a strong AFCE would help the Bills. It may be more challenging to win the division, but if they did then they would certainly be ready for tough playoff games. KC is a good example.
  20. I hear you, but players regularly said good things about Dick Jauron too. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think most NFL coordinators are very good coaches or they wouldn’t get those jobs. However, at that level you have to be elite to stand out because you are facing top coaches too. All that being said, Dorsey will get another year and should too. This was his rookie season as OC.
