  1. I think penciling in Nsekhe, a career backup, as a playoff caliber LT is too optimistic. I would be happy if he can just be a moderate improvement at RT, which isn't guaranteed IMO. Not to mention that Dawkins will bolt the minute his contract is up if he is asked to switch to guard.
  2. If he becomes someone's backup he will be one of the best backup tackles in the league.
  3. Gronk definitely is. I don't know about the others.
  4. These rankings are strange to me. For example, Connor McDermott 63 and Jordan Mills 56. If McDermott was better than Mills then he would have been starting in his place.
  5. Sure looks like the Dolphins are tanking. If they hire Hugh Jackson then we'll know for sure.
  6. If the sign Ansah, who goes? Lawson or Murphy?
  7. As long as they get off to good start and are winning I don’t foresee any problems with chemistry. If they have a run of bad luck OTOH, then I can see the wheels coming off. I think they’re too good and too hungry to start badly though.
  8. I think Roman's blocking schemes made a lot of the Bills OL look good. Groy, Kouandjio, Miller, Mills all looked very good those two season and subsequently looked like crap. Not a coincidence, IMO.
  9. Why in the world would Houston give up Clowney? It makes no sense.
  10. They rave that he's a great backup. The "best swing tackle" in the game. Is the league's best backup better than a bottom tier starter? Let's see if he can win the starting position first.
  11. He's not better than Mills, IMO.
  12. Talking a player from NE strengthens the Bills and weakens them so it's all good.
  13. Roman's scheme, Lamar Jackson plus Bell = #1 rushing team in the league. But I'm not sure he's going there, luckily.
  14. I’m not sure I follow the logic here. If Gruden doesn’t think he’s good enough to be a top QB then how would it be helping his brother to trade Carr there?
  15. It is logical that if your QB has a big arm you have speed a WR to stretch the defenses vertically, but strangely not always practiced.
  16. I'm not saying that one is smart and one is dumb. I'm saying that they have different skill sets, including their mental abilities. Installing the offense that was built around Tom Brady for Josh Allen doesn't make a lot sense to me and I doubt they are planning to do that long term. So, in reference to the post I was responding to, how can you judge if players fit a certain system when it's not clear what the system is?
  17. "Off with their heads!"
  18. To be honest I'm not sure what the Bills offense requires. People say that Daboll runs the Patriots offense but the Patriot offense is completely derived from Tom Brady's abilities as a QB- accurate short and medium range passing with an incredible ability to read defenses and make quick, correct decisions both before and after the snap. It can't possibly look the same with Josh Allen at QB. His is obviously different physically and undoubtedly intellectually as well.
  19. Yeah but compared with Lamar Jackson?
