  1. Please check. By all means.. Then apologize. I will be waiting. Oh, you could be the type that never admits wrong. You may think wild accusations are facts. Sorry. You do not have the ability to snalyze writing styles. You assume anyone who agreed with Thurmanstor must be him..Idiot.
  2. It often takes a great guy to admit a big wrong or mistake. And a smart guy to finally see the light. I jumped on the Rosen bandwagon yesterday, after tossing Darnold, then Mayfield, then Allen to to the sheep and wolves. Hopefully I do not jump on the Rodolph, then Lamar train next.. Or perhaps Lauletta or Logan Woodside. Seriously though, I think Rosen is the answer, as long as we beef up our o-line.
  3. Two months ago I wanted Darnold, as everyone in the media was drooling over him being head and shoulders above the rest. Then I decided on Baker Mayfield, as I looked at his stats in college and charisma, leadership abilities yet underdog personality. I said, "He is our guy." Then, I leaned towards wanting us to pick Allen, as I want a guy that is a strong armed good kid that can move and can take risks, and who is not a dink and dunker. But, after seeing that Rosen interview and analyzing things more, think I have settled on Rosen now. From what I took from that interview, unless injuries plague his career, he will likely be the qb that succeeeds above the others, as much of his talent likely comes from his strong self-motivation and work ethic, detailedness, perfectionism, increased confidence and desire to get respect, by him being the best. Combine Aaron Rogers and Payton Manning, that is what I think Rosen will be. They are/were qbs who put in the extensive work and preparation, and with an eye for detail, and who held themselves and others up to very high standards. I like that attitude and personality, the more I think about it.
  4. Like when Bill Polian and Mora were deciding on either weaker armed Manning who was significant,y more inaccurate after 50 yard passes, or stronger armed Leaf, Mora basically said to Polian, 'Manning it is, as we will just not have him pass over 50 yards" So, we can just tell our receivers to stop at point a, b or c, and that fastball will be there to knock your head off if you do not catch it. Seriously though, I rather have good guy, strong armed and mobile risk taker Josh Allen than more dink and dunk, injury prone, potential team divider Rosen. I think it is easier to fix footwork and timing mechanics than brittleness and personality, especially if one is smart, which I hear he is.,. Though I would support Rosen and the Bills if he was our qb, and then focus on all his positives and hope it works out as I could make a case for all the top 5 to 6 qbs.
  5. If you wanted the true temperature of the fan base, you could have worded your question differently, as you seem to be assuming by your question that the fan base is all thinking negatively about trading up for Josh Allen. When you pose such an "or" question you should consider giving a choice for the opposite point of view too, like "....will you feel better, about the same or worse as when the team dtafted EJ." Then all repliers could pick an option for them and explain why they felt that, after telling others here too how they felt about us drafting EJ, to put their answer into perspective, as we cannot assume either that all here were against that draft decision of EJ. In other words, your question makes assumptions, and leaves out opposing view options.
  6. I forgot to add Beane, too. Seems smart, methodical, detailed, organized, confident, saavy, personable, tough and analytical, and yet willing to listen to the fans. Ok, I put a little butter there at the end, assuming he will be getting us a top qb in tbe draft...
  7. Sean McDermott-- How can he not be? He leads this team with his demeanor of toughness, yet class and style. He gets his team fired up and to play as a team. He helps gets rid of less productive or bad attitude players. He has me trusting the process, as he also looks like Mr. Clean and Superman on the sidelines and at oress conferencrs with his physique and appearance. He claps for positive energy. He can get on players that slack. He is not afraid to make a risky coaching player change decision, yet reverse that next week if it did not eork out. He can seem like your friend, father and brother.
  8. American Airlines is the official airline of the Cowboys, and Jet Blue of the Patriots, I believe. So that may or may not be telling, depending on the airline he was on.. Gronk though could go to Dallas if someone called him from there saying there were free meatballs. So, who knows.
  9. I agree. I orginally wanted Mayfield, but changed my mind. Other qbs are too risky, in my mind.. Allen has rhe most upside. He is strong, smart, mobile and accuracy will improve, after a year of two of learning and practice.
  10. If it is indeed the new persons creating such repeat threads, perhaps you need to start understanding and having empathy that these persons might not know that thry are repeat threads, or the annoyance of that, as they have either not much if any at all expertise in navigating the boards to see such, have not been around long enough to have seen such, or do not know the annoyance that such creates for many from having not seen enough posts such as yours. In essense, the reason thus they do not stick around is because they may see a clique of persons who have a hard time treating newer members with respect or in giving them the benefit of the doubt. We newer posters are also sick of seeing posts about there being too many threads on such issues. That is repetitive too. But, we have class or respect in not keep saying such is highly annoying. The new posters may or msy not have an excuse for repeat posts as mentioned. How about the older members with class instead of lecturing or resorting to sarcasm, tell the new members nicely how to navigate this site, and search for topics under threads so as to lessen repeat threads. Do not assume we know this. Older members can have tooken many months or more to figure things out. So, i think your thinking is backwards. When the newer members get respect, they will treat others with respect, or be more motivated to put in more effort. Think of the new members as customers, and the established respected members as management. If the management treats newbies right, the newbies will learn quickest and come back. Otherwise, you have a website made up of a clique of many bullies or persons who have all the answers, thinking their experience or thousands of pists means all that.. So, as a somewhat newbie, I side with the other newbies. They are not supposed to be perfect, as they are trying to learn along the way. Work with them in a nice way, you get a nicer and more intelligent forum.
  11. And with regards to the op, sometimes we need to just focus on enjoying each and every day and trusting the process.i do not think the Bills will have their answer until the fat lady sings.
  12. 1. Darnold--Giants 2. Rosen--Jets 3. Allen---Browns 4. Mayfield--Broncos 5. Jackson--Dolphins Bills--Rudolph
  13. Ok, well maybe they are not so bold, but.... Mel Kiper will take a break during the 1st round to eat his pumpkin pie, and put more hair spray on his hair Baker Mayfield will be slouched on his couch with a phone in his hand and smiling, laughing or crying, when his name is picked within the first six selections. He will then say and do all the right things, and keep his hand as far away from his belt as possible. Beane will say he was thrilled that their top guy was still available when they picked, saying "He was our guy we had rated higher and that we hoped would still there at #12, and so we are very excited that he is now a part of the Buffalo Bills." Josh Rosen will say something on draft day that will make the hair stand up on the back of the heads of at least a few of the posters here, with those cynics saying "I am glad we did not draft him. Rosen is a bum." Some here will either be outraged at who we picked, or extremely giddy and partying or drinking their champagne or cool aid. Some others will rush to ebay to collect that first drafted players' merchandise. The rest will either be in shock and depressed and stuck to their chairs, or finding something positive about or supporting whoever the Bills picked. The commisioner will be booed as he comes to the podium, and he will mispronounce at least one of the names of one of the players drafted in the 1st round, which will result in even louder boos. Goodell will pretend the crowd is cheering for him, or tell the media after, "These great fans here have enthusiasm for the game, and this is what our nfl league is all about." The New England Patriots will either draft Rudolph, Lauletta or White, between round one and three, and his rookie football card will immediately jump from $2.99 to $4,999..00
  14. Nobody is widely reporting such supposed contacts and team interests or happenings, partially as it is impossible to sift fact from fiction or get excited from such reports, when either the media knows teams can or say things to throw persons off track, or when so many teams are showing genuine interest in the same players. In ofher words, there is no real news, until the real things are shown to happen, like a signing or trade, or until something happens involving just one team, or that is not expected.. Everything is just either a lie, partial truth, or news that does not generate much thrill otherwise. Much of the media people want to invest their time , energy and efforts into finding first the unusual scoop or huge news story, and not report on trivial stuff, or stuff that cannot be coroborated, or that may lead to nowhere, as they know gms and owners, and coaches refuse to talk, or say much of anything. It all is a game. The media knows that, as they often love playing cat chase the mouse, lr hide n seek games, too.
  15. God felt sorry for us, after he tortured us for almost 20 years.
  16. Although I admit I do not know much about his football abilities yet, nor formed opinion on how likely he is to succeed as a quarterback, as I have not analyzed his game tapes, nor reviewed expert opinions of his strengths and weaknesses,, my strength is studying human character issues, and in my opinion by far he has the best personality on the surface when I looked at the numerous interviews of all the qb prospects. He seems very likeable, personable and composed, and although that may not equate to qb success, he surely would have fit well with Marv Levy’s and John Butlers ‘fine young men’ philosophy. If the Bills chose him after doing their homework on his football abilities, I would support that decision.
  17. To answer your question, I researched Nostradamus prophecies, and in quatrain 55.5 clearly states, ‘The herd will endocrinate its chosen under the orchards before the 5th day of the moon rising, after the final collaboration of the forgotten man (obviously referring to gettelman and McDermott, ie. ‘Mott’ n ‘man,’ sounds like forgotten man, the last several letters of their last names.) So, it looks like the trade with the Giants to move up to #2 in the draft will happen soon, after Baker Mayfield comes to Buffalo soon for his workout, and after our coach then talks to Bean and calls Gettleman.
  18. He was the smartest to know that for tough questions, do not waste time on those, and quickly move on from those after a couple of seconds at most after a quick guess, and then to answer quickly the easier to moderate questions within 15 to 20 seconds. Practice and common sense makes perfect, as does good logic.
  19. That is not asking a lot. We can get one in the 7th round, or as an undrafted one. Instead, I hope the owner was clear and said, “ I want a Star QB, to lead this team to 6 Super Bowls over the next 15 years. Go get em.” Happy Birthday Mr. Pegula. I am wishing you and your team all the best.
  20. In my opinion, The Giants GM is basically telling his fan base, ‘Do not be shocked if we trade out of the 2nd spot if Darmold is gone,” as he is likely considering trading that pick to Buffalo if the Browns take him first. He is thus lowering the expectations of them drafting a quarterback, so there is no uproar if a big trade happens.
  21. AJ being very religious should not scare away most. The contrary. Most persons loved Frank Reich who was and is a strong and proud believer.. Russel Wilson is popular, as is Tebow, too, to name a few others. Foles as well. AJ is not in people’s faces about such beliefs either. I hope MCCarron does well. There is no guarantees of who we draft will be better. Time will tell.
  22. If he was really Baker Mayfield disguising himself as a first time Bills poster he would have said, “Baker Mayfield is head and shoulders above those others. The Bills should trade up the number one slot.” Baker would not settle to be the 2nd or 3rd qb drafted. He wants to be the number 1 guy picked in the draft.
