  1. Maybe try the "Mighty McDermott", if they still have that, if have not tried that before. It works for the coach. It puffs out his chest and causes his hands to keep clapping.
  2. Seriously: The Bills will be 10-6 Peterman will be be in the top 10 for qb rating Nate the Great will slice and dice with ease his opponents through his quick release, great decisions and ball placement The Defense will be in the top 8. The offense will score at least 26 points on average a game Shady will average 100 yards a game MCDermott will replace his hand clapping with back patting and handshakes We will win the AFC East as Brady will be carted off the field by week 8 Daboll will create creative game plans each week to outfox his opponents The o-line will, ok I said I would be serious, be not be very good, but they will give 100% effort. The team will feed off that. Jay Jones will have a break out year Croon will be better than Gronk. The Bills will be the biggest surprise story of the year Nate will be traded at year's end for a #1 and a third rounder. We will go the Super Bowl the following Year with Josh Tool Time Allen.
  3. For those of you who googled this to see if it was true, I got some pristine seafront property in the lavish but remote territory of Gloritaa for you. I originally was selling it for $39,000 but will let you take it for $19, 255 if you lend me your Bills season tickets, to verify you are a Bills fan. This sparkling clean gem property won't last more than a day or two, so it will be sold to the first Bills fan who sends me those tickets.
  4. Disagree. As most agree with the starting of Peterman, there is nothing to complain about. Most on these type of forums are complainers and arm chair quarterbacks. So, when all is well with their team, they are busy running to the store and stocking up on pizza, beer, and junk. Peterman is the player I am most excited to see. Hope he plays well, and shuts up the national and local idiots who have nothing better to talk about than last year. This guy earned the starting spot. For those who wanted Josh or AJ right now, that is not how things go in the NFL. You play the best, you play. Peterman outworked and outshined them all, including all qbs in the preseason. Whether he continues that great play in the regular season, who knows. But, at least he is more exciting than Tyrod, who was afraid to pull the trigger.
  5. True story. Well, sort of. Last year near Foxboro, MA I was trying to speed over a small falling apart raggedy covered bridge when a big gust of putrid air blew a large pile of filthy rotten and decaying leaves towards my car causing my car to come to a screeching stop. So, I looked down into the stagnant, foul smelling mosquito infested sludge and saw five deglated footballs with needles still stuck in them, a holey gray hoodie sinking in that c..p, two what-appeared- to- be crumpled up opposing team game plans, broken binoculars hanging from the rusty I beam rafters, two ripped zebra uniforms in the branches of a dead tree hanging over that, and I saw a hunched over little troll with pants pulled down doing who knows what into that swampy foam. This agng ogre with puffy belly and worn hands also seemed to be taking some toxic samples, and putting them in slimy small containers, and into a small patriot logo bag . Anyway , I roll down my automatic window and yell "Cheaters", and that dude with stoic face and evil eye glances quickly up and lets out the biggest growl. All the bears that were drinking nearby (at least I think they were bears) were scampering away, and with some even racing up a tree....So, Pats nfl staff and their fans, do whatever you want. Pump up your egos, deflate your balls, put telescopes on tall buildings near other stadiums, raid hotel room trash cans, put listening devices in dressing areas, pay wads of green to the zebras & Mr. dump, make one-sided coins, smash cell phones, & lie, and cheat all you want. But, at least our players are not robots, can have fun, play fairly, and they do not cry when they lose. They are more winners than you will ever be.
  6. Ok, Katherine says good bye.
  7. I did not want to give you my own, so I took a snap shot of the box I still have. Hope the below will do. Ralphie
  8. Wonderful. Even a 0-16 season would be more exciting compared to the dull, dragged out, training camp and Preseason. If they lose lots during regular season we get entertained as we can complain. If we win lots, we puff out our chests and see mcdermott clapping alot. If we are 8-8, we will be like everyone else in the nfl. We can have a parity party.
  9. I would click on the link, but I am not sure who Bucky and Sully are. Were they posters to this forum before, or Spammers?
  10. Regardless how he plays today, if after the game Josh says, "Coach, give me the reins, and I will not disappoint you. I am ready, willing and able."
  11. And took a swipe at Chucky, too. Flacko is the Fonze. He says, "Aaaay" and players come runnin.
  12. Yes, I think that is an understatement though. Heck, move over Cowboys. This will be the new Americas Team. Might as well just start the national marketing campaign now. Why wait.
  13. Can someone please tell me what Ryan said about Allen. I am glued to my seat in inticipation. I cannot listen to that clip as I will have flashbacks of him burping out signals and passing gas.
  14. Instead of ready or not, I would have replaced those words with "Tool Time!" Like that Tim "Allen" Home Improvement show, J. Allen has the tools to get the job done, right now.. He can hit you with a sledgehammer, a nail driver, or whatever.
  15. Talent+Leadership+Improving+LatestResults+1stRd+PracticeMakesPerfect > Experience+AverageQB+SacksAgainst+CollarboneMayorMayNotbebroken+0firstdownsin4series in my opinion. I think Josh wants to bring those wolves on, but if anyone here wants Nate the GreatI I may buy that, for a few weeks, while Nate slices up those teams with his Trick or Treat show. I think AJ is a great dude, but he will be fine, as he now can be a race car driver sooner than he wanted, as he likely mainly wanted to be starter, but he may now have missed his chance.
  16. Come play us Brits, we got Gurby, a new football game, American style. It will beat your pants off of your sissy Rugby.
  17. Joshua Ballinger Lippincott Rosen vs. Josh Allen I do not care what his stats are, after thinking about it more. Would root for Allen any time over that brainy bird. Snooty snoot family, snotty snoot kid.
  18. The news headline will be: "Patriots accuses 1st place 5-2 Bills of ball inflation. Showdown on Monday night football in Buffalo looms with 4-3 New England, as Mafia taunts Brady in press with deflated Weenie Whammies."
  19. Maybe that would have been good, as Mrs. Pegula could have repeatedly dunked his head in the potty.
  20. I rather take something shiny and new. How about Beane give his pals in Carolina a call. They may have the next Beast Mode there, Elijah Hood, as he was touted as that coming out of North Carlina and has similar football skills as Lynch. Panthers though seem loaded at the rb position with 6 there, so hard for him to get a chance as rb there.. They are thinking though of finding a place for him at fullback. He was never given a fair chance with the Raiders after they drafted him last year, as Lynch was there. I know he loves Carloina as it is his home, but I think he rather play somewhere else where he can play lots than soak up the sun. Not going to play much there. Throw in some footballs, a few cartons of milk, some doughnuts, and the Bills can scoop him up and we can unleash the Hood. He can stiff arm or run over our o-lineman if there are no holes. Apparently he is a good character guy. Good attitude.
  21. The issue should not be if there is pressure, but where that pressure comes from, and how one reacts to pressure. All athletes I feel that are true athletes and competitors will put the pressure on themselves daily to give their best efforts to reach their fullest potential. Those persons who are self-motivated and focus on learning something from all their experiences, whether good or bad, and who focus on step by step improvements but giving maximimum efforts, instead of worrying about immediate lofty results, those persons would tend to feell less pressure from others' negativity or high expectations. In other words, they may try to focus only on what is in their control, and not let their thoughts and feelings be controlled by others or other events, which could lead to self-destruction. This does not mean these athletes do not feel any pressure or do not listen to others with good advice and direction, and act on such helpful information. but it may just mean they would not tend to put extra pressure on themselves from that information or critique, or from any added expectations from such, but focus on just continually working hard at being their best. These persons often thrive under such self-inflicted pressure or stress, as often the pressure may seem natural or minimized as it is just an everyday part of their competitive spirit.
  22. Tom Cousineau, as I feel he never wanted to play for Buffalo despite his words saying otherwise. To be fair, at that time though not many wanted to. . .... He was right though when he told Chuck Knox it was the wisest decision they ever made after they drafted him #1 overall in 1979, as after he jumped ship from Buffalo never playing a down for them, and after his CFL days they eventually traded Tommy not-so-terrific attitude for a #14 pick, which was for Jim Kelly. The rest is history. Four Super Bowls for Kelly, and a lackluster or less than steller career with the Browns for Cousineau, despite his early hype and high pay there.
  23. They would have wanted Rosen if he did not have the other flaws I think you meant, as if they wanted Rosen "as is" they would have drafted him. They liked the smarts and processing speed and cognitive abilities of Rosen, but likely shied away from him because they thought his personality and/or his smaller stature or brittleness provided increased risk .I think they know Allen is smart too, but may just take a little longer time to get up to speed with things. He seems tougher mentally and physically than Rosen in the Bills eyes I feel. He is more a Buffalo guy thus, and seems more teachable, and can deal better with the winds and any critiques, etc.
