Dan Orlovsky is one of the worst commentators on television, just as bad as RGIII... Colin Cowherd is usually about as honest as you can get... he chose to ignore the Jets hype and left them out of his playoff prediction because of their offensive line. Most of the others are Jets sycophants who want the Bills to lose. The choices are a reflection of the times... not a very good time for sports on TV.

Now Tim Wakefield has brain cancer, and I am devastated for him and his family. He pitched brilliantly for the Pirates in the magical season of 1992, and then of course they got rid of him and he because a Red Sux pitcher for many, many years... https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/red-sox-say-tim-wakefield-is-in-treatment-asks-for-privacy-after-illness-outed-by-schilling/ar-AA1hpl6j#image=AA1dK7CY|1

Week 4, Bills favored by 3 over Dolphins
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
WHY is this clown still employed??? Going from the Bills to the Phins has fried his brain! -
Basically this is how the sausage is made, to use an old expression, playing playoff teams and proving that you are the better team and are ready to win a championship. I read quotes from Josh which give me hope that he will take what the defense gives him in order to win this game. I think that this game is a bellwether game that is classic great offense vs. great defense which adds to the spotlight, and Dorsey needs to deliver.

My God no... anyone who says he's like that bum needs to go be a Cowgirls fan 😂

McD much better D coordinator than Frazier
EasternOHBillsFan replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our defense and McD as DC simply cannot be judged fully until we see them perform on Sunday, period. This is the week that I have been waiting for... Orchard Park, no 100 degree heat index with no shade, Dolphins at full strength on offense. Seize the day! GO BILLS -
With Daboll, our offense was hitting its stride and scoring a lot of points in the playoffs. With Dorsey, our offense lost its mojo in the playoffs and Josh running the ball has been the plan of choice instead of committing to running the ball with our backs. McD has done a lot to improve our defense, but we will find out on Sunday if it is legit or not. Dorsey must eliminate the inconsistency and continue to keep Josh from doing the Bills in and getting him badly hurt.

They scored them against the Raiders and the Commanders. Not the Cowboys, the 49ers, the Cheatriots or the Jaguars. We're trying to win a Super Bowl, not beat up on bad to average teams in the regular season. We cannot accomplish our goals if this team cannot perform well on offense against PLAYOFF CALIBER teams, period.

Joe Namath wants Jets to clean house & start over
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
So he wasn't technically fired, he "left". That is my bad. You're lying. Provide me with proof I said Super Bowl III was fixed. I would NEVER say it outright or even ALLUDE to that crapola. Apologize. -
It's Miami week! That means HAIKU

Joe Namath wants Jets to clean house & start over
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
So a) I am in NO WAY saying that the Super Bowl III result wasn't important, or b) The AFL was a bum league, just that Namath was a very overrated player and a QB like John Hadl who is not in the Hall of Fame was better. Daryle Lamonica was electric and had a much better run than Namath did as well. Don Shula was fired after Super Bowl III because of it... and rightfully so. -
It was all a blur in the end... my wife already was saying "this game is over" and I'm like (in my Belushi voice).... "IT'S OVER??? WHADDYA MEAN IT'S OVER???" 😆

Joe Namath wants Jets to clean house & start over
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Sid Gilman magic... never got to see it, but they played AFL games on TV a lot back in the day in the golden age of cable TV and I couldn't get enough of them. I was out buying 1960s AFL sports cards as a kid while others were looking for MJ, Magic and Larry LOL -
Joe Namath wants Jets to clean house & start over

I disagree!!! The whole issue has been and will continue to be their offensive line, which they did not address properly. It doesn't matter... they are setting up ANY QB they start to fail. -

EasternOHBillsFan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
John Hadl had better numbers than Namath and was the best passer in the AFL- 33,503 yards passing, 244 TD, 268 INT in one less season than Namath. His only issue? He didn't win a championship as a starter even though he was a part of the 1963 team. He belongs in the Hall of Fame if they let Namath in IMHO... but I forget according to SoTier I "lack historical perspective" 😂 -
Great analysis as always!!! This almost made me spit out my coffee!!! GO BILLS indeed!!!

Taylor Swift is not my type and I'm not into her music at all, but I'd have her over to the house for dinner over Rachel Bush 100/100 times.

Joe Namath wants Jets to clean house & start over
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Ohh REALLY? This is too easy. Well, here is proof you lack historical perspective: HALL OF FAME QBs who played a majority of their career from 1965-1977: Fran Tarkenton 342 TD, 266 INT Johnny Unitas, 290 TD, 253 INT Sonny Jurgensen 255 TD, 189 INT Len Dawson, 239 TD, 183 INT Terry Bradshaw 212 TD, 210 INT Bob Griese 192 TD, 172 INT Roger Staubach, 153 TD, 109 INT Bart Starr, 152 TD, 138 INT Joe Namath 173 TD, 220 INT ***-47*** in TD/INT DIFFERENTIAL! PLEASE tell me how their performances as contemporaries of Joe Namath were the same... SAME ERA, DIFFERENT STATISTICS. Joe Namath had just TWO SEASONS out of 12 with a positive TD/INT ratio. You were going to lose this one trying to justify it by a difference of rules. I don't think you realize how old I am and how grounded in history I am. -

Jamarcus Russell, Trey Lance, Ryan Leaf and Mitch Trubisky were all drafted to be franchise QBs. So??? Sometimes you invest in a dog and have to put it out of its misery at a big loss. -

EasternOHBillsFan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!! I have been saying that. Justin Fields has to be better than Zach Wilson. Rex Ryan said that they couldn't afford a good backup QB but they can afford Dalvin Cook and a bunch of handpicked old WRs? THEIR MANAGEMENT IS TERRIBLE just like the Mets.
