  1. He was finding his rhythm in the entire second half, but by that time it was too late and he got hurt again.
  2. People who paid lots of money and didn't get any special attention at the end of the day aren't former Bills legends who are at the game to be honored and that's the truth you are missing.
  3. I still can't believe this guy has a job... the victimization is strong in him
  4. If I invited anyone famous to my home I wouldn't seat them at a separate table next to the bathroom even if I was serving steak and lobster... you treat someone with the respect they deserve if you are the host.
  5. Most of the coaches in college football aren't either, so?
  6. Jets talking heads on TV now going absolutely bonkers, and Mangini heads up the list. In what universe does a team as talented as ours lose a non divisional game to the 2023 Raiders at home? They are 1-0 but seriously, they beat the Broncos by 1 point. The line is -8.5 for a reason, and I hope that the Bills come out and crush the Raiders... not just to prove him wrong but to get back on track and for the mental health of the team.
  7. I already apologized to him for my angry response earlier... I was steaming long before the Jets won the game and I was just apoplectic. Everyone could see that Josh lost the game and I broke my own rule commenting right after a loss, especially after a big loss.
  8. Exactly!!! Thank you for that. GO BILLS!!!
  9. I profusely apologize for my reaction to your post @Dopeyon Monday night... I was incredibly angry long before we eventually lost and I broke my rule of posting after a loss. I should not have done it and I very much regret it. I'm sorry.
  10. Take your smarmy BS bait post and shove it.
  11. Well, the first Sunday with YouTube's new NFL Sunday Ticket has passed, and so I'm wondering of those who have it, what did you think? I was very happy with both the picture and the connectivity over the course of the afternoon. It was very easy to switch between games and overall I was very impressed.
  12. KINGcaid must be the choice... it's original and fun.
  13. YES!!!! FINALLY someone who is older than I am besides Shaw.... and so, I get to say... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OLD MAN!!!! 😉
  14. I am not Christopher Reeve, however. There are many who could do it, but I am not that person. Robin Williams wasn't that person either. It's not a bad thing to have differing opinions on how a person would handle being almost completely paralyzed.
  15. So if he's not dead and almost completely paralyzed (below the waist and right arm), how is that living? Personally I would not want to be alive if that happened to me, period. I simply cannot process this update going from dead to almost complete paralysis it makes me so sick and is extremely heavy on my soul after finding this out. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-former-nfl-wide-receiver-mike-williams-suffered-complete-paralysis-from-waist-down-from-life-threatening-accident/ar-AA1glN0B
  16. My grandfather and father worked construction jobs for decades, and ironically both ended up causing their deaths prematurely (my grandfather worked at Hanford in the 50s and the radiation led to brain cancer). Most of the time former NFL players end up in white collar jobs or other opportunities in sports, which is why I thought it was sad that he entered the field that he did. Amen.
  17. My father who was a project manager was murdered while working at a construction site in Niagara Falls along with others, poison like from Love Canal. Construction sites are high risk in more ways than one and to see he had to work that kind of a job to make ends meet is sad.
  18. Hulu+ Live TV offers everything we watch at about $90 less a month, so we're going to ditch Spectrum. They are literally telling sports fans we don't care about you by doing this, and their lame attempt to blame Disney falls flat, saying that they are for "fairness" when they are a part of a virtual monopoly in our area.
  19. Goal scoring is only A PART of success in the NHL... THE SABRES WERE RANKED 26TH IN GOALS ALLOWED and were MINUS 4 IN GOAL DIFFERENTIAL. Clearly you are cherry picking stats that fit your argument. Insulting me isn't going to make you prove ANYTHING... teams on paper don't make the playoffs, teams who PLAY ACTUAL GAMES do. Results will prove you right or wrong, and so until those results come all you have is PREDICTIONS.
  20. The Bills made the playoffs in 2018, a year BEFORE 2019, and Eichel was a "top prospect" who now plays for a Stanley Cup winner. I find it bizarre that you bring up the 2019 Buffalo Bills, as if the Sabres are now an automatic lock because they chose some top prospects. Beane and McDermott were already in place when the 2019 season started, and I just don't see EITHER of their equivalents in the Sabres organization.
  21. Once again, a pivotal moment in this history of the franchise... what could have been, much like Bill Polian. That's why I talked about it and how devastating the Murray era was... Pegula was supposed to be a hockey guy #1 and look at what happened.
  22. It established a pattern of mismanagement that alienated one of the biggest stars we've ever had as a franchise. How is that not extremely important?
  23. If he gets hurt again, he's done, and where does that leave us if he wants to come back again instead of retire? I'm all for caution and am not a Chicken Little, but I'm sick and tired of the positive BS spun over injuries only to find out it was all a mirage and additional weeks are needed for healing. We have way too much money invested in a player that hasn't made a significant impact when it counts, and I am so hoping that this is all worth it in the end....
  24. THANK YOU for at least acknowledging that we have major issues and being "the best hockey market in the country" isn't cutting it right now. The row with Pat is what I think essentially took our franchise and royally screwed up the organization is what I was getting at. It took what could have been just a small playoff drought and made it into an extremely long one. The damage that was done that day is still not acknowledged enough and it shows how badly Pegula has botched things with the Sabres. Had he chosen to back Pat we would have probably been in a much stronger position to rebuild properly. Pegula still has not healed that rift and that REALLY bothers me... I am hoping he does sell the team and the Sabres stay and win the Cup or show they can return to the playoffs regularly.
  25. Did they make the playoffs in the last two years? The Buffalo Sabres last made the playoffs in 2011!!!!!! In 2014 after Tim Murray came in and began wrecking the franchise, LaFontaine left the Sabres. How is that so difficult to understand???? https://www.buffalohockeybeat.com/stunner-pat-lafontaine-resigns-from-sabres/ I can tell you didn't fully read my post.
