  1. NFL, please revamp your Instant Replay Policy !!! Overall, I get it...getting the calls right is the main objective but your current policy is killing the spirit of the game and the fan experience. Here are my thoughts & contentions to your policy: 1- The league is being way too technical in these reviews. Trying to make a decision on a play by watching it in super slow motion is a problem, what's a catch? 2.- When reviewing a play, watch at live speed (not slow motion) and make a decision. If inconclusive after viewing the play on the tablet at live speed, then the play should stand as called on the field. 3- The instant fan interaction suffers when everyone has to lie & wait for these scoring reviews to take place...hold your cheers, wait for it, wait for it...the league is killing the fan experience. So NFL powers to be, please revamp your Instant Replay Policy so I can enjoy the game again... Signed, Loyal Fan :'(
  2. That's the defensive scheme McD and Frasier play, hopefully he is a fit for the defense.
  3. Re-arranging the chairs on the Titanic...I would prefer Kim & Terry put that money towards a new stadium district, ala Patriot Place, in downtown Buffalo.
  4. Yes!!!! He's a beast! I commented on the shout box that Dawkins was in beast mode on Sunday. Now we just need a healthy Cordy Glenn and we will have the two of the three most important pieces of a dominate offensive line.
  5. Yes. Is he good when he plays? Maybe McBean is playing for the long haul and letting Glen fully heal instead of rushing him back...it has always been the thought with ankle injuries that a break is better than a sprang. I'm guessing after this weeks game McBean will make the decision to IR Glen, if we lose.
  6. Some fans continue to follow the narrative of trading good players for draft picks...I follow the adage of Bill Polian back in the day, you keep as many good players as you can...don't trade good players for maybe's. Or you will always be drafting in the top 10...
  7. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/white-hope-qb-awards-fitz-mccown-watershed-moment-article-1.3633542 On Sunday, the Buccaneers beat the Jets, 15-10 in what could be called the White Hope QB Super Bowl. Before Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh McCown took the field, never before in NFL history had two quarterbacks who played for so many teams started against each other. Their combined stats are mind-boggling: 68 Wins 116 Losses 15 Combined teams (starting for 13) 0 Playoff Games No matter how much losing they did, there was always another team to give another start and another chance to make good. Before arriving to the Jets in 2015, Fitz never had a single winning year in eight seasons. McCown arrived in 2017 after going 8-30 his previous 10 years - and that doesn't include his 3-5 record with UFL's Hartford Colonels in 2010. To truly appreciate the caucasity of Sunday's face-off, you really have to view the Tale of the Tape.
  8. 1. Yes, Milano is the guy, thanks. 2. I only referenced Ragland because he was the only legitimate LB candidate that we had going into training camp, If he couldn't adjust let the season reveal the fact but give him a shot, imo. I'm pretty sure he could not do any worse than the current crop...Humber tries hard but does not have the ability at weakside, same for Alexander on the strong side.
  9. The defense has declined due to depleted talent and players not in the proper roles,IMO. 1)This in a sense is the same scheme as what J. Schwartz did a few years ago...Preston Brown should be playing Will not middle, The rookie LB (I forget his name) should be playing OLB (Alexanders current role) and Humber should be special teams only...we need a play making MLB maybe they should have let Ragland sink or swim to see if he could adjust. 2) KW and A. Washington are more one gap penetrators that need a two gap partner to eat up the power blocks, so they can work one on one. Trading Dareus without his replacement or a player with his skill set in the line-up was arrogant. KW & AW have been getting blown off the ball because they are not good at holding up the gap...add that with Brown now being occupied by opposing OL leaves a lane for runners to exploit. Our best case would be to have a playmaking WLB, which Humber is NOT! He is being mis-cased as a starting LB, he tries but he should only see special teams duties, if at all. 3) Teams have the film and see these deficiencies in the pass & run defense...SD specifically exposed the slow LB's in coverage, I would put Alexander & Humber on bench. I would use Alexander as an upfield rusher on passing down only to help pressure . IDK, who could fill the MLB position but they need to let Brown play the weakside...I hope McD & Frasier make these adjustment asap to stop the bleeding.
  10. I think the scouts have a good assessment of Finley...good but not great potential, with a good supporting cast ala Prescott,Dalton &Flacco. I see his ceiling as mid to late 1st rd (20-32) or early 2nd but he could drop a round or two after the nitpicking season.
  11. I am a fan of Finley as well... What's concerning about this crop of QB's, for the offense RD runs, many (outside of Rosen & Darnold) are not taking the snap from under the center. So my question, what's the learning curve for them or does RD start to change the design of the offense to the talent at hand?
  12. I totally agree with you. Unless it's a kings ransom, makes no sense at all to trade Glenn. Another plan could be to evaluate the assortment of Mills/Dawkins/Henderson/ McDermott at RT, trade the loser of the competition.
  13. It always comes back to the guy thats not here, HILARIOUS!!! Btw, Its well known that Whaley didn't negotiate contracts, Jim Overdoff does...and he's still here.
  14. Thank you DW, best of luck with your next endeavor!
  15. +1 The local media has continued to drive the narrative (due to being shunned by the FO, imo) to incite "some" fans to want blood and someone has to pay...but change for the sake of the masses only exacerbates the dysfunction! McD is the shiny new toy with all the fan filled excitement, how long will it last? I'll try to enjoy it...It won't be long before he is perceived as the egotistical forced that can't work with anyone and becomes the next man up for the slaughter! #groundhogday
  16. +1 Don't let facts spoil things, smh! It is like some fans live in a vacuum and make stuff up...according to creator of Spotrac, the Bills have done a pretty good job with the cap.
  17. What made the Tuttle pick even worse was that the Bills traded up to get him because they didn't want the consolation prize...WR Mike Quick! Mike Quick was drafted by Philly with the next pick and had a pretty good career, making their Hall of Fame, smh! Career G101 AV52 Rec363 Yds6464 Y/R17.8 TD61
  18. If the two safeties, Lattimore or Foster are gone off the board, I think the Bills will trade back to the late teens, gaining an additional 3rd or 4th rd pick. With the 19th pick in the 2017 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select- WR John Ross, UW. J. Ross is a Lee Evans/ DeSean Jackson clone and will help TT open up the down field passing game...IMO. Ross and Sammy are a lethal 1-2 combo, making an offensive attack of traditional play-action out of the stretch running game (opening up much room for Shady to roam..) very hard to defend. Git Ur Done, DW!
  19. HILARIOUS!!! Never let facts get in the way of your argument, eerrr, opinion...Not pandemonium but fandemonium!
  20. I agree. C. Jones in all intent & purpose will be inactive for the next 17 wks...he needs to have live game action for his development, IMO. He can rest his shoulder and arm while running the scout team during the regular season.
