He expects the Bills to cut some vested veterans with the intent of bringing them back once the 53 roster is set and they can place people on IR so that they can come back sometime this season. Also when I looked at what they have for the Bills in 2022 on Spotrac they have them at only 8 million with no rollover for 2021 and that's without the rookie contracts of Greg Rousseau and Spencer Brown which will be higher then the bottom 2 contracts that counted towards the top 51. I believe they're a lot closer to the cap for 2022 then they like to be. Unless someone really steps up or Morse gets another injury they're not going to get rid of him. So the only other options to save would be to sign Allen and Edmunds to long term extensions and gain some room that way, and to release Star. Beasley and Felicano are the other contracts where you could save money but they're integral parts of the offense so I don't see that

What I remember also he was playing excellent ball in the first 2-3 games of 2012 until he was injured late in the Bengals game. I know he had the major ACL surgery and then another minor one after. I'm thinking he should be fully recovered and hopefully back to how he was playing to start 2019

So the big talk from the Patriots fan sites is that if they get Julio Jones they have a Super Bowl caliber roster. I know this thread falls kinda under the Julio Jones trade speculation thread but felt it deserved it own under the assumption they feel when they get him they can go to the Super Bowl. They think Cam's year was just a result of coming back from the shoulder surgery, my feelings are Cam is done and that they don't have any QB on the roster that could carry the team if necessary.
