  1. I generally respected Peter King and his takes on the NFL but this one is out of left field. He only considers the Bills a 3rd tier team, along with numerous others. He has the Chiefs and Ravens as Tier 1 and the Titans as the only tier 2. That being said picking the Dolphins as to win the AFC East with the potential win 10 games seems ridiculous to me. Here's the link just scroll down to the 2020 predictions ... https://t.co/BWqwmoDnZq?amp=1
  2. Great analysis Gunner ... Only change for me in your analysis is Boehm is more of a likely then fighting for a roster spot with the Jon Feliciano injury and the releasing of Long
  3. One other thing that I haven't seen taken into account is the Oline play and the protection he gets. If he's throwing it away to avoid a sack, or even rushing a throw because of pressure that shows up on his stats and not the Olines. In his first year the Oline was absolutely horrid which is why he either rushed his throws or took off running. Last year was vastly better then his first year but not without problems
  4. My definition of ordinary effort is irrelevant just as yours is. The statistics are not based by me but by a statistician who is logging that information.
  5. OR you could have highlighted ... This standard says drops are "incomplete passes where the receiver SHOULD have caught the pass with ORDINARY effort."
  6. Beg to differ ... This standard says drops are "incomplete passes where the receiver SHOULD have caught the pass with ORDINARY effort." Basically, we're talking about blatant drops, not the ones where your old man leans over and says anything that grazed the receiver anywhere was a drop in his day. "Only use this if the receiver is 100 percent at fault and no one else can be blamed for the incompletion," ESPN tells its game charters. "Pass interference that wasn't called/passes thrown just outside the receiver's reach, etc., are NOT drops."
  7. Different sites have different stats, seen the washington post stats with what you posted. However, not sure if it's touch so much as the result of 1 receiver which in this case is Dawson Knox. He was the direct result of 10 dropped passes alone.
  8. Allen had 28 dropped balls by receivers last year and the league average was 17 so that's at least 11 drops above the average. Adding the 11 drops would bring his average to almost 62%. I think you're discounting the numerous dropped balls just to justify your point.
  9. Showing my age and I know I'll be in the vast minority while taking a ton of flack for, but for me it was OJ Simpson. Every time OJ touched the ball there was an anticipation that something dynamic was going to happen. A very close second was Bruce because he did things to offensive lineman that on a level was superior. Note: Football aside there was no place for OJ
  10. As much as I love our roster I still think our O-line is still very average at best. I think the rest of the roster is as deep and talented that it has been in 20 years. Biggest wildcard is Josh and what he does with all the play making talent around him
  11. I'm thinking 10-6. There's always that 1 game that we will lose that we shouldn't
  12. Always Interesting how the Nation perceives the Bills. Out of the 7 early 2021 Mocks drafts only 2 have the Bills winning the AFC East while 5 have the Patriots. Out of the those 5, 4 of them have us as wildcard while fox has us as only the 10th best the the AFC. 247sports - Win AFC EAST 5th best in AFC 21. Buffalo Bills: Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech Sporting News - Wildcard (NE wins AFC EAST) 4th best in AFC 25. Buffalo Bills: Cade Mays, G, Tennessee. Sports Illustrated - Wildcard (NE wins AFC EAST) 4th best in AFC 25. Buffalo Bills: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia CBS - Win AFC EAST 3rd best in AFC 27. Buffalo Bills: Trey Smith OL, Tennessee SB Nation - Wildcard (NE wins AFC EAST) 5th best in AFC 19. Buffalo Bills: Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State. Bleacher Report - Wildcard (NE wins AFC EAST) 5th best in AFC 23. Buffalo Bills: Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU. Fox Sports - 3rd in AFC EAST (NE wins, Jet in 2nd) 10th best in AFC 13. Buffalo Bills: Creed Humphrey, OL, Oklahoma

  16. Ok, I'll bite what's your comparables?!?! Just a quick looks at their career stats on NFL.com shows that Allen is better. Allen maybe not be Elite be he is far better then Barkley
  17. Interesting STAT relating to the Titans/Pats game .... The Patriots have lost all 4 of their games when an opponent has scored 20 points or more, all of their wins were when the opponent was less then 20 points. The Titans on the other-hand have scored 20 points or more in their last 10 consecutive games .... Go TITANS!!
  18. Seen a tweet about the Bills run defense and that got me thinking. I've been a longtime member and seldom poster but very much enjoy the incites and observations from the numerous posters . Many of the posts about the Bills run defense has been negative so I like to shed some interesting stats about the top 17 running backs that finished the league in rushing. Out of the 17 the Bills faced 9 not counting the fact the Sony Michel was twice so really 10x out of the 16 games. Only 3 had over a 80 yds (Barkley 107yds, Chubb 116 yds and Michel 93 yds ) while they held 5 to 63 yds or less ( Michel 63yds, Lindsay 57 yds, Mixon 60 yds, jackson 40 yds, and Ingram 50 yds ). I truly feel the their D is the best all-around defense that they had in a long time and if Josh and the offense can step it up a notch they be tough to beat in the playoffs
  19. While I love Jordan Phillips and he has played great I wouldn't pay him a ton. You have Ed, Star, and Harry when he's back from surgery. I sign Shaq and cut Trent Murphy. Also would sign Spain again because he's been solid. As for the other free agents I'd think Melvin Gordon can be signed for reasonable money and want Ngakoue because Jerry's getting old and showing signs
  20. Exactly what I said previously. The Colts and Raiders make it and the Bills miss out. That's why I say we need to go 11-5 and have to beat the Browns and Steelers
  21. The only thing that scares me is that if you truly are non-biased and project for all the AFC teams the Bills would lose out on a tie break from making the playoffs even at 10-6 to the Raiders (10-6) and Colts (10-6). Hoping we can at least make it to 11-5
  22. He incorrect with his standings after his projection. Since he has the Steelers beating the Chargers both would be 2-4, the Chargers wouldn't be 3-3. So it would actually be this Standings after this fictional Week 6 1. New England Patriots (5-1, 4-0 AFC) 2. Kansas City Chiefs (5-1, 3-1 AFC)3. Buffalo Bills (4-1) 4. Oakland Raiders (3-2, 2-1 AFC) 5. Indianapolis Colts (3-2, 2-2 AFC) 6. Houston Texans (3-3, 2-1 AFC) 7. Baltimore Ravens (3-3, 2-3 AFC) 8. Cleveland Browns (2-4, 2-1 AFC) 9t. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-4, 2-2 AFC) 9t. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4, 2-2 AFC) 9t. Denver Broncos (2-4, 2-2 AFC) 12. Los Angeles Chargers (2-4, 2-3 AFC) 13. Tennessee Titans (2-4, 1-4 AFC) 14. Cincinnati Bengals (1-5) 15t. New York Jets (0-5) 15t. Miami Dolphins (0-5)
  23. Right score wrong teams. No way. Love the Bills but the Patriots are gonna crush us. Allen hasn’t learned to not make that stupid throw instead of throwing it away or taking the sack. He’s done it every game and this time it almost cost us. The Patriots will not let up like the Jets, Giants and Bengals
  24. Make the 2 !!! As per Matt Verderame from Fansided.com: Buffalo Bills (-1.5) at New York Giants A rematch of Super Bowl XXV. The Bills (1-0) are playing at MetLife Stadium for the second straight week, while the Giants (0-1) are set for the home opener. Buffalo is the better team, but Josh Allen is erratic. Taking the underdog. Pick: New York 23, Buffalo 21 Bills won't get any respect until some more wins are put together. So let them prove his prediction wrong, GO BILLS1!
  25. NFL Gamepass is only live for International connections. All games in the US are only shown after they are completed which defeats the purpose. In the US I ended up getting the NFL Sunday Ticket Live Stream for $79.97 using my daughter's college eMail. They have a deal for College students
