  1. very true, but I've always been a little partial to Wallace. He's been playing a little down this year but so has Dre. Hope the CBs can have a good game
  2. Better hope the Practice Squad players show up and play. Called up LB Darron Lee, CBs Dane Jackson and Daryl Worley, S Josh Thomas, and WR Jake Kumerow. Jackson played pretty good in his one start and Worley play pretty good at Carolina when McDermott was the D coordinator. He did suck at Dallas though until he was released. Hope he gets his old form back
  3. While what you are stating is somewhat true, the Bills have played 1 more game then several of the teams/players you have pointed out
  4. Not all the blitzing defenders were the responsibility of the OLine ... TEs and RBs missed blocks and assignments
  5. The thing that I find most impressive is that the evaluators kept stating he'll never be a 60% completion passer because of his inaccuracies. He basically is that now for his career at 59.9%! So his next game if he is just above 60% at ARI would mean he would be which is a phenomenal accomplishment for someone that was constantly downplayed for his passing abilities
  6. I guess the thing that's most noticeable for me in the whole article is the season evaluations to date at the end and how Tremaine Edmunds is the worst player that qualifies to be counted with a grade of 1.96 even worse then AJ Klein. Now I know these are strictly his evaluations but he's pretty fair and spot on from my reads. He's to hopefully Emunds can start to perform at least to how he was playing last seson
  7. So what's your logic that Denver with Drew Lock are better then the BIlls? Also like a previous post stated what's NE gonna be playing for?
  8. So when the team was scoring 30 points a game almost in the first four games the OL was a disaster? We lose to the two teams in last years AFC Championship game and the OL is a problem? To me it was poor game planning, no half time adjustments and poor overall play not just the line. As for the DL I have said this before not having Star is a big loss. He didn't show up on the stat sheet but he made/makes if easier for the other DL and our LBs. If I were Beane I'd call his pal Gettleman and trade for Dalvin Tomlinson like Ryan Talbot from Syracuse.com suggested.
  9. The Pro Bowl may be a farce but they do tend to pick the players that are the best or are near the best. Just because players opt out and they go down the chain to the next available doesn't warrant that the players aren't good. It's not like if the player opts out at a position they pick the next one alphabetically. And as for Correa there's a reason why the Titans are gonna release him. Theses are his carrer stats: GP GS Comb Total Ast Sack PD INT Yds Avg Lng TD FF FR Career 54 13 71 48 23 8.5 4 0 0 0.0 0 0 2 1
  10. So your MLB who made the probowl but has struggled some this year needs to get replaced? Problem this year has and still will be the middle of the Dline until someone pciks up what Star used to do. He made it easier for the LBs as well as Oliver with what he did.
  11. Completely agree and am concerned too. That what I mentioned in my thread ‘are we a top team’. McDermott has been a great coach but there is no countering when the other teams always seem to make the second half adjustments against us
  12. Far from it!! I now live in Tampa and hope the Bills make SuperBowl. Was a season ticket holder for 32 years up until the move. I just think they were not dominate outside of the Jets game. And like I said above been there thru all of it good and bad. While I think the PI at the end of the Rams game makes up for the bogus INT without it we’re 3-2 and it was a lucky call. So as one old man fan to another I’m hoping for them to go all the way, but you have to agree they have to be much better for that to occur
  13. No I took the other games into consideration ... On fire maybe offensively certainly not defensively .. Josh had to have two comebacks out of the games and the Raiders were putting up yards and points even with their top 2 receivers. I hear you, I truly do, but the 4-0 start wasn't a dominant start so I think that they need to much better or a 9-7 season is a very realistic possibility
  14. Or, hear me out, just a slight douse of realism instead of wearing my rose colored glasses. I truly hope for them to go at least 10-6 or even 11-5, but all I'm saying is they could realistically go 9-7 and it wouldn't be a reach concluding how it is possible. Hopefully Josh can carry this team with the offense, but the defense has taken a major step backward and while McDermott is a very good coach I don't see the second half adjustments that are needed under his watch. You may think I see it as the sky is falling, but to me I just stepped back and looked at the scheduled more realistically. There are a lot of very tough teams and we've only split with the Patriots 4x in 20 years. You could say it's Brady, but I think the game planning the Pats do on both Offense and Defense is much better to what we have. Talent wise I just think the Bills are better in certain areas then the Pats, but scheme wise not as much. So until we do get a split or even 2 wins I'll always lean to losing both to the Pats.
  15. You mean you can't foresee losing to the Pats 2x and also to the Seahawks,Steelers,Chiefs? I just said I can also see a loss to one of the 5 other teams I listed. With that we'd be 9-7
  16. After watching last night's game does anyone still question whether or not we are still one of the top teams? I can see us easily just being a 9-7 team with the rest of the schedule. Current 4-1 Chiefs L 4-2 Jets W 5-2 Patriots L 5-3 Seahawks L 5-4 Chargers W 6-4 Cardinals L 6-5 49ers W 7-5 Steelers L 7-6 Broncos W 8-6 Patriots L 8-7 Dolphins W 9-7 I think they lose one of the 5 games between the Cardinals,Chargers,49ers,Broncos, and Dolphins ... I just so happenned to pick the cardinals game
  17. After Tennessee exposed our defensive weaknesses and they way the offense with was erratic I can see a 9-7 team easily ...
  18. make them trade Derrick Henry and a 1st Rd pick to Buffalo for TJ Yeldon
  19. Don';t see that big of an issue as per NFLWeather.com .... Kickoff: 10/11/2020 01:00 PM ET Possible Light Rain. Rain in the morning and afternoon. 20. so is it gonna be the same 3 QBs every week all year long ... LOL
  21. Still don't understand all the love the rankings give to the Steelers ... They played the Giants and the Broncos which both teams are 0-2 and struggling.
  22. Also since the 3 INT game against NE last year, strictly passing stats .....14 Games, 249 / 411, 60.5%, 2975 yds 23TDs, 3 INTs LOL ... just beat me to it
  23. Geez Cleveland has much more wrong on Offense then Baker. With Chubb, OBJ, Beckham and their TE's they should be so much better. Their line needs to get better and their coaching since OBJ been there has been horrid.
  24. All this sounds familiar ... A Diva, a me guy, not a locker room guy .. oh wait same thing was said about Diggs. I think a change of scenery to a team that's winning is all he needs. When the Giants were doing good he was "one of the greatest:, they start sucking gets called a Diva because he complains s o off to Cleveland. Goes there thinking this is going to be great and it's a dumpster fire there. Give him one of the top 10 QBs and he'll shine again
  25. I generally respected Peter King and his takes on the NFL but this one is out of left field. He only considers the Bills a 3rd tier team, along with numerous others. He has the Chiefs and Ravens as Tier 1 and the Titans as the only tier 2. That being said picking the Dolphins as to win the AFC East with the potential win 10 games seems ridiculous to me. Here's the link just scroll down to the 2020 predictions ... https://t.co/BWqwmoDnZq?amp=1
