  1. Two plays in this game, conducted in the Bills end of the field perfectly bookended the night. The first came when ST threw a left handed pass from Johnson to Neal on a punt formation where both gunners were left unblocked. A play formation NE used against Buffalo last year to block a punt for a tide-turning TD. The second was a deep pass to Davis when leading 31-9. A play reminiscent of the douchebaggery of Brady to Moss under the bright lights of SNF. A completion there would have been so epic. The message clearly sent there was the Bills were not done with the ass whooping. In two perfect weeks, first by the Dolphins eliminating the Patriots from the playoffs and followed up by the Bills finally beating down the Patriots in Primetime ensuring their first losing record in 21st century the peasants of the division rose up to dethrone the AFCEast kings. And yes the J*E*T*S are going to get their pound of flesh too this week completing a three straight game sweep of the Patriots. The reign of terror is now officially over and all the NFL is happy. !!!! so it is written, so it be done !!!!
  2. I clearly remember Kelly doing it to the Dolphins. That's as far as my gray matter allows for such esoteric stats.
  3. Love this guy. His hate of the Patriots and Chiefs runs deep.
  4. Just looked it up.. Here is what I found. If it happens at the end of the first or third quarters, the offense can choose not to extend the period, and simply enforce the penalty before the next period begins
  5. Hmmm. Really? Good to know. Thought it was quarter. Makes more sense it be on the quarter. Windy stadiums being the principle reason.
  6. Rewatching the game. Last play of first quarter, Bills get Butler to jump Offside wiping out the Jackson INT. When did the rule change that a quarter can't end on a defensive play? Refs wiped out the INT, gave Buffalo five yards and then teams switched ends.
  7. There is no way Beasley won't be in that game on Sunday. 4 catches for 34 yards and he is on the pine. Just try and keep him out. My take is he has been hurt all season and is playing through it. Daboll will find some sideline routes for him to minimize contact. oh. IMHUO (in my humble uninformed opinion 🙂). I expect last night's fourth quarter personnel to look like Sunday's second half personnel regardless of score. Good chance to to get some reps for Barkley.
  8. Thanks! That one gets saved on my DVR for eternity, or obsolescence..
  9. That's a definite trend for both teams. In years past, you would discount the Bills because of the schedule vs KC playing the first place schedule. But the Bills have played a genuinely hard schedule under the prime time glare. Chiefs are either just doing enough to get to the playoffs or teams are starting to figure them out a bit. Maybe a little of both.
  10. Saw this too. The more I listen to Nick, the more I actually like him. Yeah, I said that. He has the challenge each week of debunking the Josh Allen media tsunami. He has to or chooses to play the role of the Josh Allen schill on that program each week. If everyone was pumping the Bills, no one would watch. Marshall is the Bills cheerleader. Would be interesting to know what they actually think, versus what they are paid to say for entertainment purposes.
  11. Maybe.. But what I think I see is someone trying to avoid the hype. Avoid getting overconfident. I suspect guys like Josh and Lamar remember January all to well this year and want to avoid reading their own press clippings. He certainly sat by Beasley for a good while yesterday. What makes Josh Allen special in my eyes, is he seems to care about the people he is playing with. He is the first to credit the players and coaches around him for the success the Bills are having. He hasn't earned anything yet. Having to sit through interview after interview taking all that adulation must be a genuine challenge to channel and compartmentalize.
  12. Not me. I've been through all the heartache like the rest of you. Like the 90s, I believe this team is better than anyone they play at the moment. If I have any angst, it is the media overhyping the Bills chances against KC. If I am KC I'm getting a bit pissed. The media needs to pump the breaks on that. The Bills KC game is way off in the playoff distance and the road to travel to that is littered with enemies just wanting to take the Bills on. No matter how this season ends, I am a happy man. This has been the greatest ride in years and I am filled with nothing but optimism for the future of this franchise. Last night was cathartic. Today I can't stop watching youtube and all the piling on that is taking place. I want a SB and SC badly. But more than anything, I want teams that are a legit threat season after season to compete for one.
  13. No I don't want to make a donation to the Police Benevolent Fund!!! I don't know how you got this number! Stop calling me!!!!
  14. No it won't. he will say and I quote "I don't have an update on that yet". No need to watch. Someone from GMFB will leak something out before we ever find out from the Bills FO.
  15. I'm enjoying the game so much, I actually took the time to read all 66 pages of this thread in their forum. Delightful to see them suffer. Schadenfreude. Loved how they kept trashing the MNF crew for digging the Patriot's grave, dropping in the casket and then shoveling dirt on it. What is universal about all fan bases is they don't like their team dissed on national TV by the commentators. They have had it so good for so long there, that last night had to be a shock. The reality is Tom left and a bunch of their stellar D players left for Miami or the free covid-check. They let their next franchise QB head off to SF and ran their GOAT out of town. Does anyone have any doubt that if Brady was in that game last night, the score would have been much tighter? Bills still win, but it would have been closer and sweeter to take down Brady. Guess we have to wait until next year for that. NE desperately needs a QB, TE and WR. Desperately. That's a long off season shopping list.
  16. Half the game. I think Barkley will be fine.
  17. The best part of that punt was they could have thrown it to the left or to the right. Both gunners were left unguarded.
  18. Guy is tough as nails. I went to sleep believing he will be out next week and back for the playoffs. If it was more than a ding, they would have been more attentive medical wise. I think next week we see Brown, Diggs and Davis. Replaced in second half by Roberts, McKenzie and Kroft.
  19. A baker's dozen thoughts on the game: 1. Did my eyes deceive me? Was that a fake punt from our Buffalo Bills? A fake punt in the first quarter from our own 35? Yeah baby! 2. Diggs not one, not two but three TDs. Happy for the guy. He does all the grunt work. Nice to see him rewarded with a statement game for OPOY. 3. I heard in the broadcast NE had 11 DBs active for the game. 11!!!! Who has that many? Didn't seem to help. 4. Needed Bojo one time and he uncorked it. 5. Was not worried for Poyer after he bounced off of Newton. He looked more annoyed than hurt on the way into the locker room. It's easy to forget how big and strong Newton is. 6. Nice to see them shut down the run after that first quarter. Still a lingering concern for me. Teams determined to run, can find some room against the DLine. 7. Finished the game with only 3 penalties. No shooting themselves in the foot last night. That has to be a season low. 8. Taiwan Johnson had his moment and he let it slip away. Knox more than redeemed himself with his chances after the drop. He had some pretty catches and should have an entry in the toe-drag swag. Watching Belichick assault that phone was pure, unadulterated delight. 9. It was nice to see Dion Dawkins get some post game interviews too. Dude is a pleasure to listen to. Very insightful and composed. 10. Stats: Buf 3 NE 0 sacks; Buf 474-201 Off; Buf 344-56 Passing ; BUF 39-21 ToP; Buf 5-0 TFL. That my friends is how you dominate a team. CURB STOMPED on MNF for all the world to see. 11. How nice was it to hear them trash the Patriots all night long on MNF? Trash them, bury them and rarely mourn them. 12. Belichick's post game interview was pure gold. My paraphrase: We lost because we were out played in all three areas of the game, we were out coached and out executed. We lost to the better team. Dude was pouting. 13. My absolute favorite play was the deep bomb to Davis leading 31-9. Now that was definite payback for the 56-10 game. That was in your face football. That was SIT DOWN!! We no longer respect you nor fear you.
  20. From the pregame Bills Mafia adoration to the dissing of the Patriots all night by the commentators to the pedal to the metal offense on display tonight, this was a GLORIOUS NIGHT TO BE A BILLS FAN.
  21. My gosh that felt good. NE QBs are historically bad. I don’t know what the turf did to them, but they were throwing balls at the turf all game.
