Sorry but bacon is the best part of a BLT. Tomato sandwiches are a real thing in some parts of the south. They’re OK but nowhere near as good as a BLT.

It was disappointing to see some signs of life in the run game against the Rams and then it fell off vs the Titans. However, I think all the run game will be while JA is playing is “just enough” to keep the play action option viable and to otherwise keep defenses honest. The Bills for many years are likely to be a pass first team.

The attitude is a part of what was missing for the Bills D last year. Statistically they were very good but they seemed to scare nobody. If they can stay healthy the situation is different this year.

Given how early it is in the season, it’s still a bit premature to put much stock in team statistics. However, in terms of yards, Bills are #2 D and #3 Offense. Miami, according top the stat line will be a true test of the Bills D. The reality is that injuries will be a true testa of the Bills depth especially at CB as I assume Jackson will not be able to play on Sunday. It’s amazing to think the Bills D will only improve as Tre returns to health and form over the latter part of the season.

I agree with your notes on Shakir and Cook. I assume that both struggle with the fact that others on the team have played so long with Josh that they know both how to stick with the script when they need to or go off script. The latter seems to happen frequently with JA and it is one of the best things about him.

This is a real problem and I really do not understand what is behind it. Physicality is one issue as the Bills just seem to be tentative in these short yardage situations.
