Cool story. My experience with border crossing is simply that if you are open and honest the crossing guards really just don’t care and will not hassle you.

This is a reality for competitive teams with a highly paid QB. The Bills will not be immune to having one or two players on the roster in any given year who will say “Pay me.” I do think the Bills are better positioned than the Chiefs to respectfully handle the - we will find a way or at least respectfully part ways - conversations. However, these situations will come up every year as the Bills like the rest of the NFL try to work cap magic.

The players union would also have to agree to this - even with two bye weeks I think the players hate the idea of an 18 week season. Football is a physical game and I just don’t think players want to expose themselves to that much more of a pounding.

One way or another you might just be right with this rapturous thought.

You know as well as I do, they do not count in today’s era. Whether we like it or not, “the count” is denominated in Lombardi trophies. I understand your point and I really want to accept it for what it is but….. it’s a homer thought that is not held elsewhere.

While I revel in the opportunity to laugh at at the pain of a storied franchise, it remains hard to do so with any sort of confidence. It’s not like the Bills have given us a wealth of championships to stand on.

I would like an easy button that simply erases all Brady* games from my memory.

That game was the most “”soul sucking” of many. Oddly, it still hurts to think the Bills stole defeat from the jaws of victory that night.

It’s nice to see how JA has matured and come into his own against a defensive master.

The Browns have really redefined the meaning of “QB controversy.” It is so nice to know the Bills have turned the corner with JA #17.

Love this analysis. These guys are the strength of the backend of the Bills defense. Tre is the best single player but he does not make the defense the way these guys do. If the Bills are now able to get consistent pressure up front with their line changes (Miller being key) the defense has the chance to be a monster.
