This isn't the 2006 Buffalo Bills. Making the playoffs is no longer the goal. We've lost in the playoffs for the same reason 4 years in a row, you can tell the players aren't bought into "the process" as they once were, and the roster is full of holes. Yes, we have Allen and will be good with him, but we cannot be truly great unless changes are made. If you think last season as successful, we have different options.

If it was Beanes plan to let him walk we shouldn’t be in a position with no reasonable option on the present roster, and if Bernard is his answer he should be shown the door

Most teams can justify letting a player like Edmunds walk because you can get a comp pick, but Beane doesnt play the comp pick game and I dont want to lose him for nothing. Maybe a tag & trade is the best option

Every player is different. It was widely speculated that Milano took less money to stay in Buffalo because we were building something special. Fast forward a few years, what we built was nice, but its far from the nicest house on the block. The luster of the process is gone. I’m not even mad Poyer is leaving and we have no idea what was said behind the scenes.

Summerlin & Henderson are excellent places to live, much better than many places in my former homes of CA & NY. Vegas being all sin is a myth. Much bigger bang for your buck as far as housing goes too. And that includes Buffalo.

Belichick never made the stupid in-game decision McDermott makes and while he missed on his fair share of picks in the draft in 20+ years, the team was in a position to have a winning record without Brady, without Allen we are bottom 5 team. Diggs & Allen should voice their displeasure to get some heat of Pegula to make changes. You don’t become a billionaire by settling for “good enough”

Ya but that employee that gets fired is probably working until they are 70, Diggs has 3 maybe 4 years left. In my experience if enough people complain, needed changes are made, if no one complains, people quit as issues worsen because nothing gets changed.

McDermott needs to change his coaching, and Beane needs to construct the roster better if we want to win a Super Bowl; neither has been good enough. If Diggs acts like everything is ok with how things are going, he might think a championship is impossible, which he isn't ok with, so he acts out. But if he doesn't act like that and keeps everything status quo, he might never be a world champion in his mind. I wouldn't want to sit through McClappys 4th playoff loss speech (3rd with Diggs) after losing for the same reason; Overmatched/Outcoached. Most people concede that McDermott is a Monday-Saturday coach who has gotten us to where we are, but we might not advance any further. Diggs' time to win a Super Bowl is short and gets shorter every year, and he doesn't want to waste a season.

3rd & 5 we are throwing DEEP! I understand the concept and agree with your point, but I’m not confident that we will establish a run game with our current coaching philosophy. Also, look at how much Saquon struggled until they got an line and Daboll. I would absolutely love to have a running element to our offense, but it will be ignored. Don't forget this team is built defense first and our rushing D is miserable. Allen will be our leading rusher again in 2023.
