  1. I can watch the early seasons of MASH over and over. Great writing and the cast was solid. RIP Trapp!
  2. The car in the video was a Chevy and Rex drives a Ford. Maybe Rob drives a Chevy?
  3. I forgot that you cruised Hawaii and Nova Scotia. I'll catch up with you for a beer. Maybe catch a playoff game at Flightline....
  4. Friends of ours are trying to talk us into going on a cruise next February in Western Caribbean. Not sure how I feel about being on a ship with throngs of other people, especially when you hear about the issues some ships have had with norovirus outbreaks. You cannot beat the price and our friends have been on several and have had a great time, but the idea of waiting in lines to embark/disembark and being around tons of people is not appealing for me while on vacation. The cruise that Marv's Neighbor went on sound more like vacation than on a ship with 3000 + people onboard. Ryan, Promo, Johnny and JR....can you chime in on the larger ship experience?
  5. You could have issues in both winter and summer. As Chef mentioned, if your garage gets above 100 degrees in summer, the compressor will be working overtime to keep things cool. In the winter, anything below 50 degrees may cause issues, even for "garage ready" units with only one thermostat in the fresh food section. Higher end units will have separate thermostats in both the freezer and fresh food section and also may have a heating unit if the ambient outside temperature falls below freezing for any significant period of time, which may help. Most cheaper refrigerators (including garage units) will have compressors with oil that cannot handle cold ambient temperatures for extended periods of time, which will lead to shorter life spans. Since my kids took over my basement man cave, I was forced to move to the garage where I can smoke cigars, have a few beers and attend to my woodworking projects in peace and quiet. I looked into a garage refrigerator and decided against it since I do not heat or cool the garage 24/7. In upstate NY, it would be much too cold in the winter and the garage is like a hot box in the summer months. In Richmond, you won't have the extremes, but you may want to invest in a higher end unit designed for higher/lower outside ambient temperatures. Happy New Year!
  6. I'll drink to that! Nothing I want more than to see us beat the jints like a rented mule and end their season Sunday!
  7. Haven't we already been "INlightened" enough.... TT was a warrior in his first FULL season as a starter. Add some help on the o-line and another solid receiver and I like our chances going forward.
  8. Great pass and the endzone moves by your son were well done! I know my eyes are not as good as they used to be, but I still say that is Eric Wood on your avatar.
  9. High 50's with filtered sun that felt wonderful. Sat outside and had a few cocktails and smoked a great cigar. What a day!
  10. Dude....he lost his father at 8, his mother at 21 and then his brother is murdered over a $40 bag of weed. Yes, we have all had bad things happen, but very few on a scale of this magnitude, which was why the article was so moving.
  11. I was not going to respond to your post, but now feel obligated because I read the first as Hee Haw. Let me get this straight. The fact that he is a professional athlete makes you less empathetic towards his plight because of the money he has made and then you go on and add that his tragedy is not "real" because he has not lost any children. I feel sad for you if that is your take on other human beings who feel hardship and personal pain just like the rest of us, but who have persevered through unbelievably tragic circumstances from an early age and have gone on to better themselves and their families through sports at the professional level.
  12. The article was a tough read and my thoughts and prayers are with Marcel. It says a lot about a young man who has persevered despite facing so many personal tragedies throughout his life.
  13. Throw in a couple sweater vests since they are technically 1/2 a full sweater....and there you go, a perfect 10!
  14. DB made a great play and got a hand on the ball or else McCoy would have scored. I liked the play call in that situation.
  15. Looked like a bite, but hard to tell. I thought that Morgan got the shrink so that she could determine if it was a bite or a wound sustained some other way and if so, whether or not to treat with antibiotics. I hope we see more of Tara in the second half of the season. Reminder 3 - Rosita's blade training and Eugene's responses regarding open toe shoes. It is comical how useless he is.
  16. Vehicles have been sitting around for a while. I think Abraham would have taken the Hummer if he could instead of lugging all that gear back to their hiding spot. The wolf was bit so I am thinking he may have turned when they go to check on him or is extremely ill. Maybe in the end he does the right thing and distracts walkers from Morgan and Carol, but the way they are programmed, I wouldn't bet on it. Either alive or dead, I think he takes out the psychiatrist. Rick went through his "farmer Rick" stage and I am thinking that Morgan may come around as well. If anything, he is proficient at killing walkers and with the size and scope of the herd coming through the wall, this will be an "all hands" on deck evolution.
  17. And a good omen for our game Monday night..... I do not read the comic books and the first time I heard of Negan was on here. Not a big deal for me. I like the insight everyone provides on this blog. Most of it is conjecture and speculation anyways and from what the comic readers say, the television show doesn't always follow the story in the comics.
  18. I think the "douche couple" were part of the group and fled because they kept saying that they were not going to "kneel anymore" for the leader of this group (Negan?). They loaded up all their possessions and were trying to escape. I think that their group was in a firefight with another group (the ambush that Daryl and company stumbled upon) and they thought that Daryl was part of that group.
  19. Careful now! That would mean that Country Cletus would need to buy another jersey.
  20. Signs should not be allowed in stadiums period. Sat a few rows behind an idiot steelers fan at The Ralph who kept holding a sign up. Several people asked them to put it away in deference to those sitting directly behind them, yet they still held it up. Ushers told them to keep it down, yet they still held the #$*#&@ thing up. Finally, a guy sitting a few seats over ripped it out of their hands and ran out of the lower bowl to the cheering of those sitting in the vicinity of this jerk. Bottom line, the Panthers should have enforced their own policy and when they did not, I love the fact that a player did. Good for you Cam!
  21. I have never been disappointed with my Honda. It throws snow farther than larger HP machines owned by my neighbors and never clogs. I service it myself and it has never broken down in the 20 years I have owned it. I would not recommend the track drive units, because they are difficult to move in neutral. Single stage are good for smaller areas, but it sounds like you have a larger area to cover so definitely go two stage.
  22. I thought the episode was good. Great acting and I actually enjoyed the story of Morgan's transformation more than I thought I would.
  23. So many references to first season. All of the walkers around the dumpster when the camera was directly above looked so much like when the walkers were surrounding the tank that Rick was under. Doubt there is a hatch under the dumpster, but somehow, someway, Glenn gets out. Maybe there is another group in the area aside from the Wolves that saves him? This would be a prime opportunity to introduce a new group/new characters.
  24. Light to weak shaking was reported......oh the wonders of modern medicine! Way to go tiger!
