  1. I could not believe my eyes! Home opener and the the upper tier seats have several sections that are blocked off with tarps. Numerous empty seats throughout game in lower level. Seemed to fill up during third quarter when Jax mounted a comeback but more empty seats in the last quarter. What pathetic fans. Great to see all of the Bills fans in the stadium. I swore I heard "Shout" after our opening drive..... GO BILLS!
  2. Stepped up into what pocket? DT was in his face a moment after he fumbled. There was no place for him to go.
  3. I have to agree with the consensus...Fast Freddy Jackson, Ashton Youboty on D (great open field tackles....he may need to put on a clinic for some of our other players), and Trent Edwards who remained composed throughout and played like the field general we have been waiting a long time for. GO BILLS!!!!
  4. Fantastic catch by Hardy. Jump ball that was high even for Hardy and he has the presence to keep both feet inbounds. Incredible, especially for a rookie. He is going to be a great fit in Buffalo!!!
  5. Good point! I don't see Favre making it past six games and without him, this team is even more pathetic. With him, the just barely beat the fish....
  6. Arrogance or ignorance by Furlong and others at CBS 6 (WRGB). What a complete jerk. After reading his original comments and then his retraction, I can't figure out what was worse. Great job to all the Bills Backers in the CD for all of their calls and e-mails to the station! I also called a few times and the receptionist I spoke to said they had several hundred calls and e-mails. Personally, I still plan to watch the game at a local pub (Peckham's Place in Scotia) where they have reserved an entire room JUST for Bills fans. There is nothing like watching a game around other fired up Bills fans that adds to the overall experience. If I have to pay $$ for some beers and good pub food, so be it. Now on to Jax to kick some kitty cat @$$!!! GO BILLS!
  7. Good point about Moorman. He is an incredible talent. He also had the fumble recovery which was huge....how often do you see a punter at the bottom of a pig pile!!!
  8. I have to agree with Kirk Chambers for MVP. He was fantastic today. Game balls go to special teams, defense and Roscoe!
  9. This award is well deserved! LMAO at the videos, especially the last one.....
  10. How do we get in on some of those sidebets? I'll take that action.
  11. Bills 27 Searats 9 No TD's for the rats who are held to 3 FG's. Bills pick up 2 TD's offensively and Leodis on special teams runs one back for another. GO BILLS!
  12. I've been to Seattle and actually saw a game there. Their fans are pathetic and the tailgating is poor. They are a bunch of latte chugging mo's who are huge fairweather fans. There were also women in "searat" jersey's knitting and many of their fans seemed uniterested or even bored. Capuccino and espresso bars in a stadium....WTF! Action on the field tomorrow will certainly speak louder than anything or anyone on their boards. Prepare to be thumped searat fans because after tomorrow, you will be starting the season at 0-1. GO BILLS!
  13. Both players match off pretty evenly in number of games started in their seven seasons (98 games for Rogers (353 tkls and 29 sacks) and 100 games for Stroud (274 tkls and 22 sacks). Both have had their share of injuries. My point was that Rogers played 16 games last season and Stroud played 9 games. The season before, Rogers was out with injuries and only played in 6 games. Stroud played 11 games. Prior to 2006, Stroud played all 16 games for five seasons. I love the acquisition of Stroud but my prior point was that he has lately (last two seasons) had some injuries so my only concern is his durability as the season wears on. If he can stay healthy, he will be a force. As others have also stated, he is not a headcase and "shows up" for every game. Go Bills!
  14. Rogers is only a year younger than Stroud. He is also bigger, more durable (less injury prone), and IMO a better athlete. Rogers downside was that he wanted big money as an elite DT and has some motivation problems (Jauron would have not had a problem getting him to fire on all cylinders). However, I like Stoud and as long as he can stay healthy, will provide us a big, stout lineman over the middle who can certainly stop the run (ala Pat Williams, Ted Washington, and Sam Adams) and also shake things up in the opposing teams backfield. Paired up with Kyle Williams, I am pumped about what our D-Line will do this year.
  15. What intellect. My apologies for droping the "l". You probably also resent the fact that you had to pay for your ivy league diploma. I served in the military for six years and after several deployments (my final one being during the first gulf war), was honorably discharged and received a bachelors degree in business. No, I am not too "excercised about it" but just resent insolent punks like yourself. Enjoy the game tonight and for your sake, hopefully it will be a blowout because at 9:31P.M., it will be time for you to suck on your beagle's big green weenie.
  16. He hasn't been elected yet so don't get too cocky....your arrogance is alot like obama's.
  17. What a big pu$$. Is he also going to get treated for that hand nail he got in training camp. Suck it up and play you mo!
  18. I agree with Mark Vaderr. Not much of a game tonight as g-men beat skins in blowout. I think Stuckincincy is confusing McCain with Obama. McCain can speak very well without a script yet Osama Bama can't put more that three words together without a teleprompter.....uh, uh, uh.
  19. Great article! The thump he put on that punk Johnson last year was awesome. Looking forward to seeing him punish more receivers in 08'. He is firing on all cylinders. It will be exciting to watch our secondary this year which will truly be able to focus on pass coverage versus supplementing the run defense as in the past.
  20. It certainly is not just about the money. The Bills organization has been more than fair and in my opinion, too generous at times with some of the re-negotiated contracts they have given other players. However, in the Peters situation, he has not so much as made one phone call to the organization (as far as we know) other than to speak with Derrick Dockery. He is coming off groin surgery and I agree with the organizations stance that he shows up, plays and then they will consider re-writing his contract after the season. Yes, he is in my opinion underpaid for his position but nobody put a gun to his head when he signed his last contract. He needs to honor it and show up PERIOD. Also, he owes some loyalty to the organization who gave an unknown TE from U. Arkansas a shot as an undrafted free agent, worked with him refining his skills and saw that he was better suited to play on the o-line. Regarding Lee Evans, I agree that it is critical that they put a deal together but as another person stated, the Bills organization is only one side of the equation. On the advice of his agent, he may waiting to see how the season pans out. It is not about the organization having "deep pockets" as it is about setting precedence with respect to player contracts. Yeah it would suck not to have Peters play this year and to lose Evans would be a major loss for our team. But how the organization handles itself (especially with Peters) certainly will have ramifications for many years to come.
