  1. No talking, just an extra. If I had, they would have had to pay me thousands and I would have had to join the Screen Actors Guild. 10 hours of retakes over and over and over again for like 15 seconds of finished product.
  2. It has been a while since I saw this movie and need to watch it again. What an amazing cast and Burl Ives performance was incredible.
  3. You are right that business is booming and the death count continues to rise at unprecedented levels due to shootings by unlicensed and non-law abiding hoods that could care less about the fact that this city has some of the toughest gun laws in the country. It is all rainbows and sunshine until you or your friends and family are directly impacted by it.
  4. Yes, many prayers for the families of the fallen police officers as well as the people of Dallas. No way this guy was a lone wolf. We all better wake up and realize that the insurgency that was once confined to the Middle East is now here in America and the reason it has not grown exponentially is due to our superior law enforcement at the federal, state and local levels as well as an armed citizenry. How are things in Chicago these days?
  5. Wish I could be there, but a Thursday night game is tough for me with my work schedule. I hope to see many of you when the Bills play Cards and 49ers.
  6. Joey, do you like movies about gladiators? Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison? -Captain Oveur
  7. Now Gug, you need to get the drink right. It was an iced tea with crushed raspberries garnished with an orchid AND an umbrella. Very refreshing! The summer ale was pretty good also.
  8. Nothing is over until we say it is....was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor???? Hell no!
  9. It was great seeing everyone today! Good call on the restaurant Mr. Mead and I am looking forward to August.
  10. 6/22 looks good for me. My golf league is later in the afternoon, but a little lubricating oil and lunch with the 518 crew shouldn't effect my game...then again I $@ so nothing effects my game because I got none.
  11. Classic! When will Rob grow out of clothes and have to wear a moo moo?
  12. A little "old time hockey" in the Costco parking lot. Is Mike Golic moonlighting as a Costco greeter?
  13. If she is crazy enough to sue, the zoo will file a counter suit against her for damages and lost revenue. Guarantee that there are multiple "ambulance chasers" reaching out to her and her family so I would also file this one in the same folder. Stay tuned.....
  14. It's a small suburb outside of Miami. Home of Flipper....
  15. Still surprised at how easily a four year old kid got into this exhibit and was first able to survive a significant fall and then survived the encounter with a male gorilla. With the security systems that are out there, you would think that a zoo would have something in place to alert officials to the presence of someone in an area that is off limits so they could respond accordingly.
  16. Two reasons the kid survived. He was amazingly calm or more likely in a state of shock and the zoo took the unfortunate, but correct step of shooting the gorilla.
  17. How did Auburn do? Great game between Brown and MD. You are so right. Missed tripping call was big and with Brown losing by 1, could have been a difference maker. Should be a good game tomorrow....GO UNC!
  18. Oh hell yeah! Was pulling for Navy and since they are out, would like to see UNC play Brown in the championship. UNC has some players from neighboring Niskayuna, so I would like to see them take it. Are you in Philly to watch?
  19. What steak house are you going to in Toga? Enjoy! Working around the house, grilling, cocktails.....on Monday taking a moment and pause to thank our veterans past and present and remembering those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
  20. Sorry for your loss Guff. They provide unconditional love 24/7 and it is so difficult when they leave us. Hang in there my friend!
  21. This is so true! I buy the ethanol free gas at Sunoco that is specifically designed for small engine use and does not have any ethanol. It is pricey at $4 per gallon, but ethanol indeed wreaks havoc on small engines. It also has a much longer shelf life.
  22. "Mayhem" Mead's Lawn Service....his prices can't be beat, but you better check your homeowner's policy and lock up the wife's yoga pants before you hire him. For that matter, you better lock up the wife as well.
  23. Kia drivers are the new Saturn driver, which is why I drive a half ton pick-up.
  24. Fergy- Wait until he signs his rookie contract before you donate anything. The guy is living on Top Ramen and PBJ until he signs, which will not bode well for the price you fetch for your labrum!
  25. The hotel in The Shining was the Overlook Hotel.
