Years ago I was walking a bush-hogged path close to my tree stand. There's a 4 inch diameter tree with a horizontal bough crossing the path 7 feet high and clear as day is this stupid ground hog frozen on point hoping I wouldn't notice him. Walked right up and he never flinched. Soooo tempting to put an arrow in to that useless creature but it was close to my stand and I didn't want to disturb any deer. It would have looked something like the rabbit scene in "upper-class twit of the year!"

Saw the movie yesterday, I enjoyed it and thought it was well done overall. A lot going on but the overall plot kept things together. I noticed near the end when Captain America grabbed Thanos' guantlet, Thanos' didn't seem able to use it against him and had to punch CA away with his other hand. Curious, not sure if it'll come into play in the second one. Only negative was that while I enjoy the quips and humor there were a couple times where they overdid it.

It bothered me also and is a valid criticism. I can't think of another top draft QB whose proponents used this excuse. When Allen said to look at the film not the stats, I had to laugh. Yea dude, I did look. You made some great passes on film, but all the over throws, poor placement, and poor decisions still back up your stats. I thought his receivers were solid. There were some drops I'd expect when a rocket armed qb has accuracy issues but they seemed very reliable otherwise.

Any one of these drafted QB's has a great highlight reel, same as in years past. Deshone Kizer has plenty of highlights, but if you bother to watch his game film, it becomes apparent if his primary is covered he struggles to do progressions and make quick decisions. He's at best a backup in this league. Josh Allen made a lot of poor decisions in his game film, and a good number of poor quality passes. He also had no feel for the edge rushers, though decent pocket awareness otherwise. He made some great throws also, both in timing and placement. But sailed or inaccurate on many. Knowing his Wonderlic score, raw talent, and sometimes poor footwork, I have warmed to the possibility of him being able to develop into a franchise guy. But in seeing what he can't do on his game film, it'll take time. That's not intending to be snarky, just get a realistic picture for a position that's very difficult to evaluate.

It is a question. Goat Island makes the Falls a far more intimate experience on the American side. The panoramic view of all the falls is far better on the Canadian side (especially for pictures) and there's a lot more other things to do. But if you're going simply to experience the falls, don't skip Goat Island.

At the time, the goal was to get Iran to halt centrifugal enrichment of its own uranium. Obama's plan was to simply provide them with all the reactor grade uranium they needed while also drawing down Iran's stockpile. Russia, being Iran's ally, would seem an excellent participant to lend legitimacy to this proposal. I'm not seeing how this was going to pretext to an Iran war since the proposal was widely publicized at the time and a pretty good idea if the goal was to stop Iran from needing to develop its own enrichment expertise.

A colleague at work tore his pec in the middle pretty bad and required surgery. He got it sewed up and had his arm immobilized in a sling for a few months. Took him over a year to fully come back. You can sew muscle to a limited extent if you include the fascial tissue around the outside. I'll ask him how it's doing strength-wise as it's been 18 months. Sounds like a minor tear for Price, but I would worry about him coming back too soon and tearing it again. His profession will put a lot of stress on it. As far as bench press and lifting weights in general, in my 48 years I have learned that good form and controlling the weight trumps pretty much everything. The times I have gotten injured is from careless lifting of (and racing through) lighter weight or struggling and seriously compromising good form to lift heavy weight. Of course, with age you start to realize certain lifts hurt too much and to find alternatives. Any curling I do is strictly on a preacher bench.
