Hollins is looking inside the whole time, so seems to me it's supposed to a throw to that side. The throw was terrible. That being said, do people dive to make catches anymore? I would have liked to see Hollins lay out for it. I'm sure he would have dropped it anyway, but would like to see the effort.

Belichick or McDermott. Who's the better coach?
JimmyNoodles replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bellicheat is too busy boinking a 26 year old. McD can’t get it done. Tie for “meh.” -
The division sucks, which is the only hope. But really, who cares? This team is going nowhere fast. I like Beane and McD as people but they are out of time. Just too many mistakes with the roster and coaching. Got to make changes when this year is over.

The Bills are soft, soft, soft on defense and have been for years. However, the offense suprised me last night with the lack of physicality in their play as they can bring it at times up front. That hit by the Raven's lineman was legal (though excessive) in my mind. What I didn't like is that no one jumped in there to defend Josh. Perfect time for an on field fight. We know how this movie ends and it won't be with a Super Bowl victory. The Bills have ben exposed as pretenders again. And for those who say this is an overreaction, you haven't been paying attention. Unwanted advice....1) Pegula! Wake the F-up!!! You need to change the front office and coaching staff after this year. 2) Josh, you don't deserve this nonsense. If #1 doesn't happen, you need to get off this shipwreck and save yourself as soon as possible. You don't owe the Bills a damn thing. Flame away and wake me when we win the Super Bowl. I'll be watching every game like I have for the past 55 years and probably drinking more. Cheers!

On Carolina, I live near there and don't think there's too much chance they'll leave. This is one of the fastest growing areas in the country. The area is definitely a college basketball market first, but there is support for the Panthers. They just need a some wins. Not too many fans are rabid followers of teams of failure (like Bills fans, lol).

Daniel Jones leaving the stadium to intense heckling
JimmyNoodles replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
While not condoning the behavior, I think this was some pretty low level heckling. "Give me a million" and some light boos. I think Jones will be survive. I was expecting death threats or something. -
To your point, I like Davis better than Cook as a runner. He's definitely more physical. I'd love to see Cook more in the pass game, but as you said he has to catch the ball. It will be interesting to see how this plays out becasue I think Davis is going to flash. On the other hand, the Bills always seem to take forever to integrate new players.

Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
JimmyNoodles replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm with those that think we should have one more legit WR threat on the team. Hopefully, that can still get done in some fashion. I understand why there was not a double dip this year becasue there were too many holes to fill on the roster. That's on Beane. With regard to Coleman's ability to be an X receiver, I agree with those that think there is too much emphasis on 40 times. His playing speed is faster, as has been noted by others. Now, he's not going to line up outside and beat man coverage runnng a fly route, but back shoulder, double move, and any other routes can be wins for him. He's big, agile, excellent hands, can jump, and has the right attitude. He's also only 20, and wait until his footwork gets even better. I like him the more I see him and what he did in college. -
For those that don’t like the Coleman pick
JimmyNoodles replied to whorlnut's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can’t recall a punt returner that big. He definitely has a lot of agility for somebody his size. One other thing about punt returners, IMO it’s the second hardest job at a skill position next to QB. You have to some big time courage and confidence at that job. It seems this kid has that “dog” attitude players like to talk about and I like that. -
The only reason to be upset with either trade back is if you wanted Worthy or Legette. Obviously, the Bills didn't. We upgraded our draft slots significantly. The optics of the KC trade don't look good to people who don't follow this stuff, but that's why Beane makes the big bucks. You don't pay attention to the peanut gallery and do what you need to do. He made his play and showed some balls in the process.

The Draft is a Total Crapshoot (Per Science)
JimmyNoodles replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
We were lucky the Giants and Broncos both passed on QB's that year and no one else took Josh earlier, but you are right, we moved to 7 from 12 to get Josh. -
The Draft is a Total Crapshoot (Per Science)
JimmyNoodles replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
I couldn't read the aricle becasue of the paywall, but that premise is correct IMO. The more swings you get in the draft, the better chances you have of getting a hit. Early rounds (1-3) render better athletes, so it obvously makes a difference where your picks lie. While I generally like Beane, I hate his draft philosophy of moving up to get "his guy." It costs us swings at the bat to get young cheap talent. Here are the early trade ups. QB you have to move up for, but the rest are very debatable how well we did. In 2018 he moved up for a QB, which worked out because the Bills were lucky nobody selected Allen before us. Edmunds cost us a 3rd (we got back a 5th). 2019 sent a 5th for Cody Ford. Gave up 2 4th rounders for Knox. 2020 trade for Diggs, sent a 1st, 5th, 6th, and a 2021 4th. Got a 7th back 2021 no trade up. 2022 Elam cost a 4th 2023 Kincaid cost a 4th. -

Random talking head says something about the Bills
JimmyNoodles replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Simms is 100% right. It's funny that Florio brings up Rogers as some kind of example. He's an example of a gigantic ass-clown and totally a "me first" guy IMO. Josh has always been a solid teammate. By burning his relatonship with Josh, Diggs separated himself somewhat from the rest of the team too. -
[POLL] Should The Bills Trade Up For A WR?
JimmyNoodles replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trading up is foolish when we have so many holes. Good WRs are three rounds deep in this draft. Let the board come to you. Until the Diggs move, I wouldn’t have bet on a round 1 WR because they still could get a nice player in the second round. Now, I’m not sure about the first round but sure hope they’re not wasting draft capital to move up in the round. This is Beane’s weakness. He can’t help himself. -
He was a gigantic pain in the arse. C'ya! Moving on...and for the love of all that's holy don't trade up this draft for a WR when there's plenty to go around. Anybody recall Sammy Watkins?

So, yeah PSL's suck, but this is news to people? Obviously, you guys weren't paying very close attention.

Say the Bills DON’T restructure Josh Allen…
JimmyNoodles replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just a thought, but maybe Josh doesn't want to be extended. I'd certainly think twice about it if I want to win a Super Bowl. -
Rapp brings some physicality to a defense that practically has none. Nice signing and would like 3 or 4 more with some attitude, please.
-
The Bills have a winning culture and are "winners." The problem not achieving in the playoffs isn't about culture.
-
That's pretty much the point of having an elite QB. As long as Josh stays healthy, the Bills can compete. How many coaches would love to coach Josh? I'd say, pretty much everyone. Time for a change.
-
Very fair take and I think the "baggage" part is palpable.

Hope he passes the test.

Allen's career: Rivers, or Manning/Jordan?
JimmyNoodles replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Elway is the comparison.
