This is how a good organization is run. Beane and McD are going to discuss what the needs are and how they are going to approach the roster. But, who ultimately has the final say if there's a disagreement such as you outline? I'm putting my money on McD.

Yes 10000000% but is that going to happen? Would McD give up control? He likes what he likes. I don't hink he's going to let someone retool "his" defense. I think you'll see minor tweaks in an effort to make it look like someting is being done.

I would totally agree with this, but I don't think that Beane drafts anyone on D without McD input. And, that's how it should be. Keeps people on the same page. Does Beane just need different marching orders?

There is not one person the DL that should feel they have an automatic spot on this team. It's time to cut bait, just like they did with Diggs. It's open season on D lineman. People need pay cuts, trade, or move on, however it happens. I would leave the offense folks alone. They finally got the line right. Need one speed receiver.

Congrats to Josh! Certainly could have won this award sooner, but better late than never. One of the all-time greats at QB and we are lucky to get to see him play. I imagine he'll stay loyal to the organization and I really hope that pays off for him with a championship.

Besides Josh, if the Bills win the SB this year, it’s all about the Oline. They have been dominating.

We had KC on the ropes last year by halftime. I remember an endzone shot of their defense almost at the half where you could see the players faces and they were exhausted. Second half they adjusted and started coming up to stop the run. We did not. We should have run a ton of play action at that point and I believe we could have won fairly easily.

Absolutely. I had total confidence at that point the Josh would have got points to end the game. I’ll also give McD props for the field goal decision since it put us up 8. The Ravens needing 2 saved the day.

In every case the losing team gave it away. Takes nothing away from the winners.

I like Rousseau over a guard with Von outside. I think Rousseau is a tough matchup for a guard and is hard for a QB to see over. Maybe Von, Rousseau, Oliver, and Solomon on long yardage situations? Also, maybe move Von around. He’s still getting double teams at times.

All true but sometimes you have to get a stop and confidence is low in that regard. Our offense is going to have to maintain this excellence every week. No mistakes.

Seems like a lot to say about what for all intents and purposes was a scrimmage yesterday. Keon had a nice year, 19 yards a catch and 4Tds. He's agile for guy his size. If he works on his footwork this offseason, you'll see a different guy with his ability to separate and run more precise routes. All that said, he's still a #2 type guy. The Bills should look for more speed in the draft next year.

Basically agree with all of this. The only way this defense works is with a dominant front 4, but then pretty much any philosophy works with a dominant front 4. This D cannot impose their will against any good offense. They need to blitz to try and stop teams which carries a lot of risk and they don’t seem to get home a lot. The strategy in the playoffs should be more stunting up front and hopefully more effective blitz strategies. But ultimately, like you said, it’s on Josh to outscore teams.

Elam needs to play. Hope he gets the call the next two. He has tons of talent. He needs a little less hands early and more physicality at the catch. Could be a very important guy vs KC if we need somebody to man up on Worthy.
