  1. I don't see a trade up that's worth it, but I'm all for a slight trade back. As you said, this draft is deep at CB (and WR) so we could move back a little and get an extra mid-round pick that could be worth something.
  2. I've just started watched some tape of these guys (RBs) and Hall looks terrific. This draft is deep at WR and CB, so the Bills could target folks that could be available in round 3 or later. Maybe the best possible scenario for the Bills is to hope to trade back and grab an extra pick that could land us Hall. Still have to think CB is round 1 is the plan as of this minute, though.
  3. Hall looks like a terrific prospect but I don't think the Bills will pull the trigger on a back that early in the draft. I would guess round 4 to be the earliest round for a RB. I have always thought that one big weakness this current team has is the lack of a back with size who can push the pile when needed. Hate to see Josh having to keep it on third and short. He'll get hurt eventually. For that reason, I'd like to see the Bills go after someone with size (220+) and power, even if not the fastest in the world. Would a guy like Hassan Haskins be available in the 4th round?
  4. Seattle had thoughts of using him for punt returns so he's had work in that area. I think he'll get a look see here.
  5. Yes he can. I think he'll get some action to see how does with punt returns in addition to kickoffs.
  6. You’re a fringe player until you’re not. He wasn’t used until halfway through the season and he has produced when called on. While I haven’t been a fan of his for punt returns, I like McKenzie a lot in the slot. He is a mismatch with his speed. If the Bills were to go after and get Engram, I think the WR room is complete except for the possibility of a late round flyer on someone for punt returns. Not a fan of Stevenson, who I think get replaced.
  7. This is really a gift for Baltimore to take the off ramp without looking like bad guys. Obviously, I’m not a Lamar believer.
  8. IMO 6th round is the earliest you look at punters/kickers unless you’re the Raiders.
  9. I hate to "jump" in here because this conversation seems to be heating up. My first thought was that his reaction was pretty cold and I think it's hard to argue that it's not. After reading some comments, I was comtemplating why he might react like that. I wondered if he's been conditioned to move away from situations (because of his celebrity) where he could somehow be blamed for something going wrong...you know, just distance himself form the whole thing.
  10. Interesting musings about McKenzie. I hope they sign him too. The offense runs better with him in there getting some touches IMO. It does seem that McD has a burr up his butt regarding McKenzie so I’m not holding my breath. On Stevenson, he can run fast in a straight line. He doesn’t show the ability to evade people. His college tape looks like that too. I know he had a good return in preseason and that raised expectations. I don’t think he makes the roster this year.
  11. That’s why God invented restructuring.
  12. Of those three options, I’d be most interested in Bradberry.
  13. If McKenzie leaves, I like Wan’Dale Robinson for his role. He had a monster bowl game.
  14. Bills want speed. McKenzie has speed. They should try and keep him plus draft a bigger WR with speed in the early rounds, maybe even the first round.
  15. Look, it’s a matter of opinion. Mahomes was gifted a playoff team to start his career. Josh had a much tougher road. He has developed into the leagues best player IMO. Winning is a team venture. The Bills still need work (including coaching changes where needed).
  16. Hardly. You say it's foolish and then say the same thing. Allen is better than Mahomes, right now today. We need a better TEAM.
  17. We really didn’t close the gap. Josh is the best player in the league and these last two games proved it. The rest of the team is tagging along, especially the defense. Lots have to change on that side of the ball for the Bills to win a super bowl.
  18. You get a week off, play at home, and play one less game, so the answer is "no," it's not overrated. If the Bills lose tonight, we'll all be moaning about blowing home field with the schedule we had.
  19. Aren't they all competing? He's got the right attitude. If they have their mind right this team can win the whole thing.
  20. I think the run D has been better the last few weeks becasue of Harry. Whatever he's drinking pass it around to the other D lineman and go kick some ass Saturday night!
  21. I’m going with Bellycheat as Paul Bearer.
