  1. It’s really no point discussing if you believe everything was fine and Diggs was happy and going to play the next two years at his previous contracts rate. I stick by my comparison and believe it does help my case. You have your opinion I have mine. I will choose to believe the signing will workout based on facts I have, you have your own facts influencing your beliefs. All good.
  2. I think maybe 1 out of 10 people in media liked the Allen pick initially. I am not a fan of McShay, just seems like ESPN tried to force him onto the scene to replace Kiper. Problem is, Kiper is better and more likable. That aside, I’d like this draft.
  3. Since you are a data scientist, can you say that Jones could get the ball to that spot on the field throwing at a lower angle OR would that cause the ball to land at a different location?
  4. He can’t get it there throwing it at a lower angle, that’s the point.
  5. Comparing Julio Jones to Diggs is comparing apples to oranges. If you want to find a comp for Diggs Go look at Marvin Harrison’s production after 30. Diggs and Harrison are very similar in body styles and play. Diggs takes great care of himself, loves the game, and loves his team. I think Diggs will be playing at the same level for the next 4 years. Freak injuries occur, but those happen to 22 year olds too.
  6. I am not debating that with you but there is a certain Pats fan on here who will.
  7. @PatsFanNH will not like this blatant evidence. I’m sure he will stick to his guns that Belichick wants McCorkle over Allen. All kidding aside, this is exactly why guys like Jones and Fitz have the ceiling they do. They just don’t have the arm.
  8. Happy Birthday! Love seeing the Marietta, Ga in the tweet! Lived there for years.
  9. I think we will see one middle level Vet signing for that $3-4 mil range. I say this because I think Beane really likes to draft for value over need. Right now it is very difficult to say there is not a need at CB.
  10. Diggs should be productive for at least the next five seasons. Marvin Harrison is a good comparison for Diggs as far as body and style of play. Harrison was very productive through age 34.
  11. Never gonna happen regarding Jones. McDermott getting the Bills to the playoffs in 2017 is way more impressive than Belichick spending the most money in FA last year and not being competitive once in the playoffs.
  12. This is kind of how I feel. Could the Bills be thinking if they have better CB play they can pass on overpaying for Poyer?
  13. Belichick is celebrated as the greatest coach ever by many. He is showing he is an average coach who benefited from a great QB.
  14. This is a good move, like to see the details, I’m betting in three years the deal becomes easy to move on from or to trade Diggs. This could line up nicely if Davis turns into a great receiver too.
  15. When you have a QB making $40 mil you need more rookie contracts not less.
  16. Couple of points- Arrests aren’t indicative of guilt, let’s remember that. What someone is being arrested for can range from loitering to murder…big difference.
  17. That was my first thought. Timing of the trade gives the Saints a couple of weeks to move up more. Maybe they like one of the QB’s and want to go get him.
  18. Everything I have seen from Gilmore is a play for pay mentality. Now every professional has that to some degree, but you can also play with heart. I don’t see much heart from Gilmore.
  19. No thanks. I doubt this is true. Can someone please tell me what about his personality fits with the culture the Bills have?
  20. You are showing cracks. A sign the truth is seeping into reality for you. I know. That Pats fan said it numerous times last season…if that doesn’t show you how ignorant he is, I’m not sure what else will. Nobody anywhere would take Jones over Allen. None.
  21. You are on record saying that Belichick would want Jones as his QB over Allen. Don’t be surprised if those of us who have read most of your posts know exactly what your motives are for being here. It is just getting tougher ever game for you to keep your smugness since your team got run out of the playoffs by the Bills and your QB is mediocre, with limited talent for any true improvement.
  22. When did Parker become a “very good “ wide receiver?
  23. Great point about the safeties. If the Bills can find another good to great CB in the draft, I’m not for trading up to find one, this D will be even more improved.
  24. I became a Bills fan, like maybe some of you, because it was quality time I spent with my dad, uncle, and cousin. My grandfather worked for the Bills, so as far back as I can recall I was privileged enough to spend time in the locker room and on the field around the players and coaches. Being 46, the Super Bowl teams happened right around my high school years and definitely galvanized my fandom. I have already began teaching my young son about the Bills. He is 2.5 years old and can recognize a Bills logo and he loves to say “D-Knox!” Followed by a fist bump.
