  1. I was listening to a National Media guy on the radio and he was describing Mariota and it was like hearing a description of EJ. IF you play good guys will follow you. You can be an ahole and demmand respect, but if you can't play none will come your way.
  2. I like not tagging him and i like the approach Whaley has taken. The Bills have come right out and said we are doing everything we can to bring him back. I am sure they are . At this point Hughes and his agent may want to wait. I am sure Hughes' agent already has fielded a few 'hypothetical offers' from other teams. Let it all play out. Atlanta just dumped a bunch of players and now has about the same as the Bills. It has been widely known down here that they need a pass rusher. Hate to say it but i could easily see Hughes in Atl.
  3. Could not agree more. The guys from the 50's-mid 90's paved the way for the big deals and everything else players enjoy. They get a pittance compared to what guys from the 2000's get in benefits. The NFL should be ashamed for how they treat the pioneers of the league.
  4. Stevie was not a gamer while in Buffalo. He actually was exactly what has been wrong in Buffalo for so long. Coming up short in big situations. I do not hate them man one bit and wish he could of made a few big plays when he was given the chance.
  5. says Atl saved $3.8 by cutting him. How much you think Blalock will get? 31 with no injury history. Maybe a 3 year deal in the neighborhood of $15mil? $8mil guaranteed?
  6. I don't normally do this but you seem like a swell guy Fix Or Repair Daily
  7. Having watched a lot of Falcons games Blalock was honestly the only good oline man on the Falcons over the last two years. I don't think he will come cheap but he is good.
  8. EJ has no trade value at all. Anyone thinking otherwise is a supporter of EJ's or an optimist that we have the answer to the QB position on the team. I am by no means stating EJ can't become a starting caliber QB, but right now he has no history to warrant trading anything for. The only GM that might do it already has a QB in Indy! Ha The waiting till after FA may suggest another move is in place. Rex does not know much about how to develop a QB but Roman does. If Roman isn't interested in trying, that is good enough for me.
  9. Hey! Tampa is a hard place to win! -Steve Young
  10. My main 'issue' with Chandler is that he is average at best at everything. He is not a great blocker or a great pass catcher or elusive at all. Chandler should be the 'complimentary' TE to a true number one TE.
  11. Maybe Dareus and a third rounder? Whaley might be watching the Suh deal very close. Also what do the Bills have that the Rams need? WR's? Bills have 2 worth anything and Watkins is not going anywhere. And no way is Robert Woods is in the discussion unless it includes about 3 other guys and a pick or two.
  12. along those same lines, what about if the Bills 'other' big FA signing is Revis? talk about a scary D for a few years. You would be done most likely, with out any significant O signings. How would you feel?
  13. I do think there is some reasons to be hopefully that EJ progresses. i think EJ can be as good as Wilson in Seattle who I believe is a decent QB with a great team. Whaley is trying to duplicate that model.
  14. No wonder he is nuts the master looks like an asylum!
  15. The Bills team going into this draft have far fewer glaring holes to fill then past years. This is before FA even begins. Why not look at a QB in the later rounds? You may draft the next Financial adviser for Charles Schwabb or you may find Tom Brady!
  16. Cherry on top. After all the went from Manning to Luck basically. hard to feel sorry for them as a fan base!!
  17. I would like to see the Bills go after him. A little karma paid back to us fans for losing Lynch, maybe. New place with new faces maybe helps him turn the corner.
  18. Yes. I think if Buffalo had a franchise QB( a top 10 qb) they would be the team to beat in the AFC. This D is historical good. Hughes walks but Kiko comes back. They pick up Revis in FA and maybe a TE.
  19. Big Gamble on Manning. I doubt if he gets cut he is not signing a max guaranteed deal with someone for two years if he comes back at all. Manning is not signing an 'incentive contract'. The Bills would be looking at paying him $25 mil. I am not so sure i want to do that. One hit and he is done. He looked very very bad the last month. Orton out played him in Denver. Three years ago i would of said yes. Now after watching December and January i just don't think he is worth the price.
  20. Yes. I think that is the point of the article. These teams are saying the would rather take the bpa with their first and trade a later pick for Bradford. IF this trend continues with sub par QB's coming out of college, look for the NFL to start to play with rules to compensate. IN 5 years we will be left with very few great QB's
  21. i said part, and yes you are correct. the league instructed Atlanta to stop doing it around midway through the past season. There was/is no denying it.
  22. I think part of it is due to the fact that the Falcons stunk for the last two years, you are not hearing as much about it. I do think it will garnish a heavy fine but do not see any type of penalty involving draft picks. I also do not see that for Cleveland. Heck the worse thing Cleveland has done as a franchise is not cleaning up enough around the facility and MAYBE letting staph spread. Joking
  23. Wow, some of you guys went from 0-60 on this one. From calling out our fellow posters for not being able to pick up a girl to calling the girl a slut. Edelman is not married. That is the number one thing to me. He did what most if not all of us here have done, had sex. Whether the girl is hot or not is your opinion, just like whether you think your wife, gf, mistress, FB, etc is. One mans trash is another's treasure. If the girl wants to post this so be it. I also understand she has a bit of a history of going after athletes, so what? She probably hopefully now gets that there are going to consequences to her actions. None of us here were involved in this. And if any of us have an overwhelming strong opinion one way or the other it is most likely due to the fact that we have a 'dog in the fight'. I mean a past experience that this brings up for us. Whether it happened to us or our significant other or a sister, friend, etc.
  24. Pettine may be a good coach but he made a horrible decision to go to the Browns. He needed to stay in Buffalo and keep up the good D play. Who knows he probably would be the Bills coach right now. Buffalo is in such a better place as a franchise then Cleveland right now. No comparison.
