Minnesotas FG before halftime
atlbillsfan1975 replied to TallskiWallski83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i got frustrated at this too. Marrone is brutal. The Bills are winning despite Marrone and his lackey Hackett. I wish Orton would take over play calling i gotta believe he would be better at it then the two bumbling fools. -
Bills Working Out Kouandjio at Guard

I am glad Marrone is willing to admit he was wrong. Unfortunately Marrone's stubbornness will cause us to see another losing season. Marrone is not a NFL head coach right now...if we give him 3 more years of doing things wrong he may be ready. -
The all Sam Bradford thread
atlbillsfan1975 replied to NextYearGuys's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have watched Bradford's career to some extent because i had a chance to speak with Dave Caldwell right before that draft and he felt Bradford was a legit franchise QB. The injuries are what scares the heck out of everyone now and why Bradford will most likely be a FA, not his talent. IF he is cut i would suspect some team will give him a two year deal similar to KO however you may have to include some incentives for good play and team performance, the market will dictate this. -
100% in Redzone with Orton (4-4)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ha! I was totally joking. No way it works, but funny to think about. I can see Marrone like Lou from Major League 'give'em the heater Kyle'! -
With the Mike Williams news and the Jerry Hughes incident and the Whaley/Marrone blow up during camp, Marrone may not make it out of this season. IF (and i hope not) things go bad, i think this team quits. Marrone and Hackett either step down or are fired with 3 games left.

100% in Redzone with Orton (4-4)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's have EJ run the offense up until the redzone and bring Orton in as the 'closer'? -
I am not sure how you verify this so take it fwiw, but Winston is actually pretty book smart, but obviously makes questionable life decisions. Let the process play out.

We're on to Minnesota.

Exactly. I want to see a hungry team that realizes its goals are still there. Enough with the rah-rah emotions. Play a good game and win. -
I'm just about done with Marrone and Hackett

22 points against NE is usually not going to be enough. When you take into consideration that 13 of those points were off turnovers, 22 is really not enough. The fact is the offense could not answer the Pats in the second half. In the first half the Offense looked like it did w EJ. There are good cords out there getting more from less. Hackett has no business coaching in this league. Two weeks ago Marrone made a decisive decision in regards to a player, he needs to do it now with his staff. -
Just watched Chandler's one handed catch

Fitz liked throwing to him too. Eerie similarities developing between Fitz and Orton -
Bills are a team on the rise.

Add a legit HC, OC and Qb...yep we are contenders -
No first round pick and no long-term solution at QB is going to make it difficult to get a good coach. 2016 new coach, new gm, new qb. Hope I am wrong but it doesn't look good.

Biggest letdown loss of the season?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bad coaching is what you described. Belichick gets the most out of what he has. I am not sure what Marrone does. -

I remember you and I last year being on the same side when it came to Hackett. I hate the fact that we are right, but Hackett is inept. Marrone and his oline look worse then ever despite the fact that the Bills have been devoting draft picks to it and FA. The only saving thing Marrone could do is fire Hackett tomorrow and show some leadership. I think we are stuck with Marrone for next year because no good coach wants to come into no first round pick and no qb. -
Sorry bro but over moral victories and excuses. The BILLS are who they are . This team has talent at many postions except for QB and a few others(DB and OG). And horrible coaches, but In particular Hackett and Marrone.
-
Hackett stinks, been saying it since early last year. Marrone needs to fire him tonight. Hackett has no clue what he is doing or how to use his weapons. And I am tired of watching Marrone look like a moron! Best part of today was hope...hope that Pegula will right the ship...clean house after the season and change the losing culture

I got to agree with he doesn't give a pep talk. Shake hands after the game and makes it known that playing in Buffalo is playing for a first class organization. Make travel, accommodations on the road, and your facilities the best in the league. This is what players care about. OH and you sign your guys back that are worth it when FA hits. Rah Rah speeches are for coaches and captains.

So far from what i can see home field has been a big advantage this year. Maybe if the Bills had played Detroit or Chicago at home they would have beat them by 30 points. If the NE vs Cincy game was in Cincy what would the outcome have been? To me this is a pick'em game. History will then be what motivates many of the people's pick. I am probably reading more into it, however if the 'experts' really stopped to think about it they may change their tune. The 'experts' see Buffalo vs NE and all know that Brady and BB are 22-2 against the Bills. This is a very good match-up for Buffalo. NE is more a running team and Buffalo is stout against the run. The Bills can get pressure on Brady using 4. I just do not see NE scoring more then 20+ unless the Bills help them.

Getting blown out is different than winning a game because of a few missed field goals. If the Lions had made a couple of those kicks the game might have taken on a different look. IE the Bills played more aggressive. What happened to NE in KC was an annihilation . When is the last time NE got beat like that? Brady got pulled. BB conceding a loss. The fact that NE beat the equivalent of the MLB Oakland A's in Cincy, changes nothing in my mind. NE can beat Buffalo, sure they can. IF Buffalo prepares and plays their best game and NE plays its best game, i like the Bills. Right now Buffalo has more talent across the roster except QB. I will take pretty much every other area of the Bills over NE. NE also has the edge in HC, no doubt. Let's see how this plays out.
