  1. In a perfect world Sammy comes in and lights it up at WR. IF for some reason he does not the Bills will look to get production out of him in other areas.
  2. I am going to sound really ignorant, but what happened here?
  3. It was not just the frequency but also the fact he did it at the exact same time. Someone who has far more time then i do should go see how many times to start a half or game that was the call. I bet you it was over 50% of the time.
  4. Bingo! I criticized Hackett early and often. I admitt i should have and eventually did throw it towards Marrone. To think a guy with very little NFL coaching experience could come in and be OC and QB coach with a rookie QB was poor judgement on Marrone's part. Changes have been made during the offseason and all we can hope is that the three guys Hackett, Hostler, and the QB coach work well together. I do believe the talent is there, we just need the coaching.
  5. I disagree. Tebow has shown he can win games in the NFL, which is exactly what you want in a back-up. Gabbert has shown he can not win anything. Is Tebow a starter? No. Is he good enough to be a back-up on a team with a proven franchise QB? Yes. He will not get the shot because he is a distraction.
  6. With the rules in th eNFL today favoring the receiver i like Watkins ability to transition nicely. Watkins has great hands and maybe the quickest first step we have seen in awhile. Combine that with the fact that DB's can hardly press anymore and we could see Sammy with a lot of YAC.
  7. Just saw this too. Does not mean he will be good even if he does sign with Pats. Lately it seems they have more misses with aging Vets then hits.
  8. Could not agree more. I am not sure he can play in the league or not but to go from a starter who won a playoff game to now a guy who can't get a call. Look around the league at back ups and tell me he is not better than a couple of those at least. He is a good guy from all accounts, but no team wants the millions of fans he brings because of the circus it creates.
  9. This is not good at all. After reading what he said after the first arrest about the media making it into something it is not and how he was blowing it off, i am concerned. It appears Marcel is not 'getting it'. Both of these incidents appear to be acts of someone who is immature and not ready to understand their level of responsibility. I hope for him and the Bills he figures it out. Unfortunately punishing guys that are in that mind set many times does not work unless it is a very very severe punishment, which stinks for us Bills fans.
  10. Here is what i was getting at. Pettine was DC under Rex Ryan who is a very hands on coach by all accounts. Pettine went to the Bills and was DC and had what appears total control on that side of the ball. After one good season with Buffalo, albiet not great season, he gets a gig. Lets say Reich is OC for the Chargers and they have an even better year offensively, you are going to say he will not get considered? Pettine doing a good job in Cleveland will also help Reich to be seen as a legit candidate. The NFL is a copy cat league.
  11. gotcha, for some reason it seemed longer. i think maybe it was a 'nagging' injury that they finally shut him down? I remember his play his second season was down a lot
  12. Correct me if i am wrong but didn't Byrd miss considerable amount of time his second season too? Unlike others i do care what former players do for a few reasons. One being to see if our F.O made a good decision or not.
  13. Right now Dareus needs to be quiet. The judges and district attorneys are able to read these qoutes from Dareus. He does not come across as a guy who is sorry for what he did.
  14. Before Mike Pettine i would have agreed with you
  15. ERGO why the Braves just flipped the City of ATL the proverbial middle finger and moved about 10 miles north to the burbs. The city of Atlanta is one of the worse run cities in America.
  16. You may have said it a little harshly, but i got to agree with the sentiment. The stadium should be built on the water. For those who have said 'i don't want to ruin the waterfront with a stadium', are you joking??? The waterfront in Buffalo is pathetic compared to cities like Cleveland and Pitt, both towns that embraced the waterfront and developed on it! Good, gosh i can already see why so little happens in Buffalo. I can only hope that strong decisive leaders exist and will make swift and accurate decisions. Forget about what ever constituent has to say, get something done!
  17. True, and if it is arthritis it something which will slowly become a problem. Worse case scenario for Kouandjio is he doesn't have as long a career. I think he is going to be very good for awhile.
  18. In 2004 TD was maybe told or he said so to his staff we need a QB. So they went out to find one. They probably also took into consideration where they picked and what was available for a trade etc. In the end they forced a pick for a QB who was not first round talent, much less 3 or 4th round. If EJ does not play well this year Whaley has screwed the Bills for atleast 2 more seasons until they have first round pick again. And even then unless is is the top 3 picks you are still 50/50 on what you get.
  19. It has nice areas and has bad areas. just like Buffalo and every other city. The people of N.O ar ethe best for the most part. They get they need tourists to come down and spend money. They appreciate it and treat out of towners w respect
  20. This sounds like something to throw people off
  21. Jerry Jones is going to be the next Al Davis. Jerry is quickly turning himself into a cartoon character.
  22. He was having a decent year until he got injuried. I believe he got hurt in the first Jets game. Never know what might of been for the guy.
  23. The time for excuses is done. my entire sentence was EJ needs to perform well and keep the team in games to win. I am not saying EJ needs to be Brady but he needs to be as good as Rusell Wilson. The D and WR are good. What IF the sky falls?? Yes all three phases of the team need to be good. But they all can be good and if you have a bad QB it will not matter. The Bills will finish with 6- 8 wins IF EJ does not step up and play good.
  24. Bradham has the talent he just has not been able to put it all together. That could also be the product of having different D cords in his first two seasons. I think if he gets in the system and is coached right he really can play in this league. This is his make or break season.
