  1. I think we will also see it in talent evaluation.
  2. Yep, Gilmore produces and teams look for other areas to exploit. McKelvin is in line for a big year if healthy. This team is more talented than the Jets team Rex took to the AFC championship game. I think Cassel and even EJ can be better than Sanchez was at that point in his career.
  3. He will get around $20mil a year when it is all said and done. Seattle is a good organization. You do not let talent walk. They figured out Marshawn's contract. They will figure out Wilson's as well.
  4. I really think we are going to be surprised in the guys from the 2014 draft. New coaches and a year playing at the NFL level can only help.
  5. The stat was already mentioned actually...the one where Marrone is coaching OL for Jax.
  6. I hope you are joking. Tony Stewart has won three championships, and was cleared of any wrong doings in the incident you referred to.
  7. Not in today's NFL. You need to find day one starters InThe first and second rounds. The third round should have starter potential this year or at the very least be a rotational guy. Rounds 4 and 5 are your projects who you hope surprise and develope faster. If you get anything much out of rounds 6 and 7 you are winning.
  8. That is what I thought to.Like that he has experience on both sides of the line.
  9. The point is that each franchise has people on staff that are usually ex-police/FBI who know how to find out information. The fact he was not drafted in the first in a very weak class means that the unknown is to great. We are basically saying the same thing i think.
  10. The fact he has not been drafted is a strong indication that teams know something. So far he has not been cleared. I can guarantee teams have called BRPD to try and find out the status of the case. Have asked what are the odds the kid get arrested/charged? So far teams are not hearing what they need to hear to draft him. Simple as that.
  11. Got to agree with the OP. I will add that i can not see Glenn being really happy about being moved inside. LT still get paid more than guards. Rather see the Bills draft a guard in the second or third round and allow Henderson to play another year at RT.
  12. Horrible timing for those two guys. Yes they did something careless, but Jordan getting hit two days before the draft will surely make teams think twice about Gregory and Ray.
  13. Good move by the Bills. It allows them to see how he plays in Rex's system with out the pressure of contract talks this season. Would not be surprised to see them extend him before the end of the season if they like his production.
  14. If the Bills take a QB with one of the first two it will contradict everything they have done this offseason. Bills are in a win now mode. The Bills are taking the Seattle approach. Build a great D, good running game, good special teams, and ask your QB to make a couple plays to win a game when needed. To that end the second round pick needs to be a contributor this season and so does the third round pick.
  15. A broke clock is right twice a day. besides it was Hogan's catch that was the clutch catch. Chandler's was nice, but not calling it the clutch one for that game.
  16. The guy was anti clutch!!! Just like Stevie!!
  17. I think those two pairings maximized potential for the development of the player. Luck and Carrol would be alright, but i think what he learned from Arians was more beneficial to him. I also think Wilson with Carrol is a better fit. Conversely i feel that Marrone's style was not great for EJ.
  18. First- i see Harbaugh as a tough coach who is demanding and also a brilliant Offensive mind. He is not a rah rah guy. yes he gets animated on the sideline, but he is deliberate in his calls and knows how to coach a QB. Second- i was talking about the pro's.
  19. My point was about how the 'fit' between coaching staff and QB can be essential in a qb's growth. Wilson and Pete Carroll seem to be a perfect fit. Positive, upbeat, rah-rah guys. R. Wilson needed that big time. I think EJ could benefit from that. I don't think a guy like A. Luck needs that or would of benefited from it. B. Arians was a great fit for Luck his rookie year, positive cerebral type of coach. I see EJ as benefiting from being around a more lose guy like Rex while having a coach like Roman there to play to his strength's.
  20. How do you think Russell Wilson would have been over the first three years of his career under Marrone and Hackett?
  21. This was my immediate thought. Seem pretty stacked at ST's already. And i don't see where he fits as a WR. The big redzone threat?
  22. I agree with you mostly. The thing i like about Whaley is that he is actually addressing areas of need. How many off seasons have we sat and watched the Bills do little or be unable to sign their own back. I give Whaley an incomplete. Lets see if this group he has assembled gets the job done.
  23. Fred is a great person and has been a great talent for the Bills. He has a little left in the tank. Maybe five touches a game and insurance if someone goes down. To think Fred can Handle 15-20 touches a game over 16 games is not realistic. Fred would tell you that i think. McCoy is the 15 touches guy with Brown and then Fred. Dixon will be more short yardage guy i think.
