  1. It is removing fluid that builds up around the knee. It looks like a deep reddish color, thicker than water. basically the body sends fluid to an area where there is some type of 'stress', this cause the swelling to occur. You can drain the excess fluid off your knee and sometimes it will come back sometimes it will not. I have had it done a few times on both knees. It may mean there is a greater underlying problem or it could come from blunt force to the knee or surrounding area. Twisting of the knee can also cause the swelling. It does not really hurt to have your knee drained. Sometimes the doc will put a cortisone shot in why he is doing the draining. This will help with stability in the knee. My 2 cents, i am sure i butchered it and a real doctor can do a better job explaining.
  2. The Bills lined up and beat the Colts. There was no smoke and mirrors. In fact i think both units will improve a lot as the season goes on. It is a long season and anything can happen. This is a new team built with new players and coaches. None of those past teams have any real bearing on this one. I doubt there is any players still left from that 2011 team? If the Bills can put together another win like this last one against the Pats, they will serve notice that coming into RWS stadium and looking for a win will be hard. This year is going to be a fun fun year.
  3. i didn't see one read option yesterday. Not sure why that was. I don't think Indy has a D that is good at shutting that down. I bet we see the read option against NE. Teams put things away all the time. Smart coaches save plays for certain situations or opponents. That is my thought. Might be wrong.
  4. As someone else said. It isn't going to get any better next week with Kraft, Belichick, and Brady coming to town.
  5. Didn't they also get a half against Brady? Or does that not count because the Pats weren't really trying?
  6. Agree to disagree.
  7. They got up by 17 and Rex and Roman know who is next on the schedule.
  8. IF they build off this it could be the biggest win in the last 15years. As it stands this should be a good confidence builder for Taylor. I think we all have said that the Bills are a QB away from great things. Let's see if Taylor can keep up and get better from today's performance.
  9. Maybe said in jest, but I wonder if the Dolphins have the same team doctors.
  10. Wow! Brown! Kiko who?!
  11. 2 off season acquisitions paying off big time! Darby and Harvin! Good job Whaley.
  12. Anyone else a little concerned about our inability to run up the middle?
  13. I get your frustration, I do. If anything I am sure if you talked to people who have dealt with Bob Kraft in business would say he has questionable ethics. Just a hunch.
  14. If that happens the drought would end for one Franchise. Only two Franchises in football to lose 4 Super Bowls.
  15. Wow, this is what good franchises do. All little signs pointing to this is a new era in Buffalo Bills football. Let's hope it starts to translate on the field.
  16. I hope we get the game here in Atl. I had game tickets and a flight booked and had to cancel.
  17. We will find this out as they can't sign more and more guys because of Wilson's salary. Prediction- Wilson turns out to be no better than what the Bills have on the roster now.
  18. When he left I felt relief for the situation being done. Byrd is to much drama and I just don't think he gets how to handle himself as a football player. If I am a Saints fan I am irate at my F.O , the Byrd deal is exactly why the Saints will be bad for a long long time. People in NO better dust off the bags
  19. Pete Carrol was not Harvins last coach, his current coach was. As far as Woods, he has some growing up to do. The way he handled the EJ as QB situation was not professional. I understand that having two players who have shown a lack at times of professionalism could pose a problem. I think if anyone can handle them Rex can. Could you imagine Marrone trying to!? Talk about a sh*tshow that would of been.
  20. Nice thought about Taylor having a RG3 rookie type season. If true Bills are on a path for the SB. I really think Roman and Rex are wanting their QB to help them win games by making a few key plays with their legs or arm. This is something Orton could not do last year.In regards to the OP, the DB talent might less slightly until Leo gets back but I think Rex is better at disguising that than Schwartz is.
  21. I like the fact that Darby has two safeties with plenty of CB experience back there with him. Sure the rookie is going to make some mistakes, but he will figure it out. Honestly the only way for a DB to improve is the way Rex is doing it.
  22. 7 years $120mil $60mil
  23. Good for you.Serious question, how long after Jim Kelly retired did you think he could still play?
  24. Thank god someone gets it! Fred speaking like this is taking him down a notch.
