  1. Got to build from the center out on each level on both sides of the ball. Having said that, I think Gettleman knows exactly what he is doing. If the Bills want the Giants pick it will probably take 3 first rounders and another second rounder.
  2. Any run that Tolbert got 4+ yards on, Ivory or most rookies would probably of broke for a big gain. I’d like to move On from Tolbert. I always felt like that move was a strategic move to have a Vet that was a McDermott guy on the team from day 1. Does Tolbert play special teams?
  3. Well he had 165 touches last year and had 2 fumbles and 1 of those was a turnover. I agree at times he tries to extend the ball and loses it. I am a complete homer but feel like Michel could be the best RB in this class.
  4. Sony can catch and has similar speed as Shady. Sony doesn’t posses the same stop to high end speed as quickly that Shady does. Sony almost always is heading toward the line of scrimmage, he takes great angles. Rarely will Sony get tackled for a big loss.
  5. I just don’t see Michel lasting past pick 45 or so. Look for Michel to have a great combine and get picked in the late first early second. IF Michel didn’t play with Nick Chubb he probably would of won the Heisman.
  6. Ok, I found where you and I can agree to disagree. Tyrod doesn’t make the most sense to me. I know what Tyrod is and honestly I don’t want to watch it anymore. I understand that Bradford, Bridgewater, Keenum, or whichever other Vet comes in will probably have similar results in the win loss category as Tyrod. My selfish desire is not to watch Tyrod play. It also doesn’t make sense from a continuity stand point to bring Tyrod back because there is a new OC and offensive coaches. If the Bills bring Tyrod back after drafting a QB in round one, I won’t be totally disappointed. My disappointment will be squashed by the hope that we might of finally found our QB for the next 10-15 years through the draft. I have given every QB the Bills have trotted out since Kelly a chance. I have wanted them all to be the guy. I have given everyone 2 seasons to show me what they are. To show progression. Tyrod is the same quarterback today as he was when he won the starting job to begin with. It’s time to move on or at least get the moving forward plan in place for 2019.
  7. Makes a ton of sense for the Rams. The NFC has the majority of ‘good quarterbacks’.
  8. Ok, fair point. Why would you want Tyrod around a high draft pick? Do you want Tyrod to stay QB for another year?
  9. The only thing Taylor can mentor a young QB on is how to be a professional football player. Taylor has been a fairly good teammate. Taylor has up to this point been for wise when it comes to the business side of the NFL and how to conduct yourself. I am not totally sure what if anything Taylor can teach a QB about playing QB.
  10. I was back in Buffalo for the first time in about 7 years for the Saints game. Buffalo has things moving in the right direction. The weather doesn’t matter as much as people think. I’d rather build through the draft and then add a few ‘right fit FA’s’ that aren’t necessarily big name guys.
  11. Good point. Bortles could have a long Fitz type career if Jax decided to move on in a few years.
  12. Caldwell is the GM who drafted Bortles and he is still the GM. To me this deal says, Bortles proved he can win and I also need to try and find a young QB to develop. Look for the Jax to spend high picks on D and WR and then in a later round 3-5 look for a second tier QB. If Jax takes a step back this season and they don’t like or have young QB on the roster , they will draft one high in 2019 and use Bortles for one season as insurance. Word is that Bortles is a great guy and very positive in the face of a lot criticism. I bet he would deal with a mentoring role of being a pro to a rookie just fine.
  13. No. I mean come on man. Start a thread about how nice the weather was today for a February day. Johnny Football deserves what he is getting. When you leave the office do you say ‘ hey let me try going North on the freeway even though I know south takes me home’?
  14. I hope Beane is good at finding QB’s. I’m ready for the Bills to find one. I think 3-5 is where some of these ‘second tier’ qb’s fall. Guys who need to prove they can be coached up on certain technical deficiencies.
  15. I hope he gets some help. He always seemed like something wasn’t right, but then again I am watching from my TV and the brief glimpses we are able to see.
  16. Leave it to the Bills board to make drug dealers being murdered into an issue of morality. Its like now we can't talk politics, abortion, religion. or drug trafficking...'or is Tyrod really the problem?'.
  17. Sounds to me like the Bills paid Mayock to throw some mud in the water to help them trade up.
  18. Pretty straight forward moves. Preston Brown is the only one on that list I could go either way on.
  19. Ever wonder if boom or bust has something to do with the coaching fit?
  20. Wow, one report and everyone is up in arms. Having said that, IF true this makes sense. It’s kind of like in baseball when a team trades a player but eats a portion of the salary. I can see Tyrod in orange and blue and someone saying ‘ the Bills are paying you $6million not to play there’.
  21. I thought Miller played pretty darn good for a rookie. He seems to fit a power run game as you stated. I'd hate to see the Bills give up on a guy who showed such potential.
  22. Wow, did i say they would suck? Jeesh, read what i wrote, not what you you heard in your head. Fact is Saban has been hurt in recruiting by the amount of coaches leaving. Saban has also not been one to embrace the new technology rules of being able to text with recruits and the use of some of the social media aspects. Saban is an amazing coach, one of the top 5 best all time if not the best. Best college coach i have had the privilege of watching. I even read the book '4th and Goal Everyday' because i admire him. The book is great, it is all about the process. If anyone can absorb the high turnover it will be Saban. I am sure he already has contingency plans in place. My point was and is that Bama just got out recruited by more schools than it has in a decade. Maybe it is coincidence that slide in recruiting coincides with the departure of coaches. Maybe it will have little impact on what happens in the fall. If Bama bounces back next year and puts up a top 3 class, it will be an anomaly.
  23. Herbie is a very nice choice for draft day. He likes UGA, be cool to hear what he has to say about the Dawgs coming out.
  24. That is my concern. I agree with you that the Bills would make out good in this scenario. Glenn would be getting paid now like a LT. I am sure his agent would worry that teams will try to use his lack of recent LT playing time in negotiations. From reading posts you are one of the guys i trust when it comes to numbers. Is there a place to tell what is the average RT vs average LT? Highest paid RT?
  25. You and i are on the exact same page. Do you have any question on IF Glenn will agree to play RT? I do not think it is ultimately up to him, but players have learned how to work the system.
